Slow plays are the worst traps in my opinion. This kind of play is dangerous for the "trapper" though as the "trappee" may make their hand. I watched a slow play on pocket aces and opponent had 24 as BB. He hit his straight on the flop and knocked out the opponent because of his slow play.

That is why I look for possible flush draws or straight draws on the board. If there is not three of one suit on the board, then you know the KKK can hold up. So based on what is on the board, I may do an all in to try to get them to fold, or I may do a small raise to distract them from doing an all in.

In NLH things are different but in Omaha you almost never see a good board for KKK. There is always a flush draw or a straight draw and you have to live with that. Some day ago I flopped JJJ and trippled my buy in because there was a straight and the flush came too but I made my FH on the river and this was exactly 3x the buy-in and the other guys had to rebuy. I don't nesseseraly do this every time but in this case I had a very, very good feeling. And I wasn't the person pushing the two of them AI, no, the straight holder do this, the flush draw holder went immediately AI and I just followed.
I mean a trap because with those hands one almost cannot fold and you pay to make the other people rich and I don't like it. Stud is even more brutal. If your starting hand is QQQ, you are far ahead and then you see your opponent making KKK after 6th and he did not make FH, the KKK is enough. What have you done until 6th, raising 4x in the worst case and this mean 50% of your buy-in money are gone!

Et ce n'était pas moi qui poussais les deux IA, non, le détenteur de la quinte fait ça, le détenteur du tirage couleur est allé immédiatement IA et j'ai juste suivi.
Je veux dire un piège parce qu'avec ces mains, on ne peut presque pas se coucher et vous payez pour enrichir les autres et je n'aime pas ça. Stud est encore plus brutal. Si votre main de départ est QQQ, vous êtes loin devant et ensuite vous voyez votre adversaire faire KKK après le 6 et il n'a pas fait FH, le KKK suffit. Qu'avez-vous fait jusqu'au 6, en relançant 4x dans le pire des cas et cela signifie que 50 % de votre buy-in a disparu !
