Lets say you buy several lottery tickets to your States lottery. Or you have bought tickets where several States lotteries are grouped together in a Mega lottery jackpot. The jackpot is at a whopping 200 million dollars. (it has happened many times) Now lets say when buying these tickets you went in with a bunch of friends from work, to increase your chances of winning. First, who gets to hold the tickets before the actual drawing? If that ticket actually won, WHO would you trust enough to hold it till you could get to the lottery office? Secondly, if you find YOURSELF holding the WINNING ticket, would you trust yourself to share the jackpot? Do you trust yourself to share with your co-workers? That kind of money makes people do all sorts of things they would normally not do. Do you trust your co-workers or ANYONE that much? More importantly, do you trust yourself that much? When I use to work (long time ago...now I am just a lowly stay at home Mom...haha), We had an office pool lottery just like you are describing. To alleviate any problems of the nature that you are describing, everyone who was in on the pool got a photocopy of the tickets for that week and written on those photocopies was the name of the person holding the tickets for the week. We also drew up a letter in the very beginning stating the terms of the lottery and how we all were entitled to an equal share of any pot won. We all signed it, had it notorized and everyone got a copy of that also so that if something like a big win happenned it would be very hard for whoever held the ticket to put claim to the entire jackpot. You have to protect yourself in situations like this because when there is a significant amount of money involved, everyone goes just a litle bit insane! MONEY MAKES PEOPLE DO CRAZY THINGS!!!!!!!! Never won though.....I am still poor :'(

Pour atténuer tout problème de la nature que vous décrivez, tous ceux qui participaient à la piscine ont reçu une photocopie des billets pour cette semaine et le nom de la personne détenant les billets pour la semaine était écrit sur ces photocopies. Nous avons également rédigé une lettre au tout début expliquant les conditions de la loterie et comment nous avions tous droit à une part égale de tout pot gagné. Nous l'avons tous signé, l'avons fait notifier et tout le monde en a également reçu une copie, de sorte que si quelque chose comme un gros gain se produisait, il serait très difficile pour celui qui détenait le ticket de réclamer la totalité du jackpot. Il faut se protéger dans des situations comme celle-ci, car lorsqu’il y a une somme d’argent importante en jeu, tout le monde devient un peu fou ! L'ARGENT FAIT FAIRE LES GENS À DES CHOSES FOLLES !!!!!!!! Mais je n'ai jamais gagné... Je suis toujours pauvre :'(

I AGREE WITH TRPSCHICK, I THINK I WOULD HAVE TO BE SURE EVERY1 HAD A COPY, BUT I THINK I WOULD WANT TO BE THE ONE TO HOLD 'EM. I WOULDN'T EVEN TRUST MY MOM!!!!!
