Hi Members,
Last nite was the grand finale of American Idol. I was really rooting for Crystal to win! I love her voice and she is a great talent. But Lee won and got very emotional last night.
I think that this is the ONLY tv show i ever really watch and am dedicated to. This was the last year for Simon Cowel and i don't know if it will be the same without him.
Paula was cute as button when she showed up to honor Simon. I always wished they would hook up!!
Did anyone get a chance to see it and are you happy with the winner?

La dernière nuit était la grande finale d'American Idol. J’espérais vraiment que Crystal gagne ! J'adore sa voix et elle a un grand talent. Mais Lee a gagné et est devenu très ému hier soir.
Je pense que c’est la SEULE émission de télévision que je regarde vraiment et à laquelle je me consacre. C'était la dernière année pour Simon Cowel et je ne sais pas si ce sera pareil sans lui.
Paula était mignonne comme un bouton lorsqu'elle s'est présentée pour honorer Simon. J'ai toujours souhaité qu'ils se connectent !!
Quelqu'un a-t-il eu la chance de le voir et êtes-vous satisfait du gagnant ?

Lips I am also a loyal viewer of the show. I don't think it will be the same with Simon gone. I picked Lee as my favorite guy and Crystal as my favorite girl and they both made it to the finals. I thought Crystal would win,she really kicked a** Tuesday night but in Lee's defense he improved every week and really got better with each performance. I also think he deserved to win. I wasn't disappointed, I just wanted them both to be in the finale. I think Crystal is amazing and I love, love, love her voice, and I also love Lee's voice. So I am happy .They both will do well I think.
Lips Je suis également un fidèle spectateur de l'émission. Je ne pense pas que ce sera la même chose avec le départ de Simon. J'ai choisi Lee comme mon gars préféré et Crystal comme ma fille préférée et ils ont tous deux atteint la finale. Je pensais que Crystal gagnerait, elle a vraiment botté un ** mardi soir, mais dans la défense de Lee, il s'est amélioré chaque semaine et s'est vraiment amélioré à chaque performance. Je pense aussi qu'il méritait de gagner. Je n'ai pas été déçu, je voulais juste qu'ils soient tous les deux dans la finale. Je pense que Crystal est incroyable et j'aime, j'aime, j'aime sa voix, et j'aime aussi la voix de Lee. Je suis donc heureux. Ils s’en sortiront tous les deux, je pense.

I am an Idol fan too and have followed it since the beginning,and I also really wanted Crystal to win...1. She can sing her azz off...2. My middle name is Crystal...She is her own person!
But I'm happy for Lee too, especially since he is a "Chicago guy" (actually Mount Prospect but you know how that goes), so I have to have some hometown loyalty too.Crystal should be fine,she is mega talented and I'm mad at the shows producers because they should have had Bonnie Raitt on the show to sing with her.But anywho who knows she may surpass Lee with her career.Je suis aussi fan d'Idol et je le suis depuis le début, et je voulais aussi vraiment que Crystal gagne...1. Elle peut chanter son azz...2. Mon deuxième prénom est Crystal... Elle est sa propre personne !
Mais je suis heureux pour Lee aussi, d'autant plus qu'il est un "gars de Chicago" (en fait, Mount Prospect mais vous savez comment ça se passe), donc je dois aussi avoir une certaine loyauté envers ma ville natale. Crystal devrait aller bien, elle est méga talentueuse et Je suis en colère contre les producteurs de la série parce qu'ils auraient dû avoir Bonnie Raitt dans la série pour chanter avec elle. Mais quiconque sait qu'elle surpassera Lee dans sa carrière. -

We all watched it at my house, too. We loved both Crystal & Lee, so it didn't matter who won, but Lee's reaction tickled us. My BFF & Mom both are in love with Lee - I was more a Casey junkie.
What I also really, really liked was the format of the show last night. The AI'ers starting out the song, then bringing out the original singer, was a stroke of genius this year & kept us interested right to the very end. After the first couple of songs, I'd know who was coming out and that was a kick.
It won't be the same without Simon, but I'm keeping an open mind about it. And yes, Paula looked adorable last night!!Nous l'avons tous regardé chez moi aussi. Nous aimions Crystal et Lee, donc peu importait qui gagnait, mais la réaction de Lee nous chatouillait. Ma meilleure amie et ma mère sont toutes les deux amoureuses de Lee – j'étais plutôt un accro de Casey.
Ce que j’ai aussi beaucoup aimé, c’est le format de l’émission d’hier soir. Les AI'ers qui ont commencé la chanson, puis ont fait ressortir le chanteur original, ont été un coup de génie cette année et nous ont gardés intéressés jusqu'à la toute fin. Après les deux premières chansons, je savais qui allait sortir et c'était un vrai plaisir.
Ce ne sera pas pareil sans Simon, mais je garde l'esprit ouvert. Et oui, Paula était adorable hier soir !! -

I think a lot of women find him very sexy Lips and there are tons and tons of young nubile wenches that would give their right arm to be with him over here.
He does a lot of charity work but he doesn't tell the world about it too much. His Mother helps run the local RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) just along the road from where I live and Simon goes to the annual "bash" to help raise money for them so he gets my vote that's for sure.
As for the finale.....I think Crystal should have won. She was a far superior singer to Lee and Simon's face and the way he was clapping at the end spoke volumes. He was not a happy man.

Je pense que beaucoup de femmes trouvent ses lèvres très sexy et il y a des tonnes et des tonnes de jeunes filles nubiles qui donneraient leur bras droit pour être avec lui ici.
Il fait beaucoup de travail caritatif mais il n'en parle pas trop au monde. Sa mère aide à diriger la RSPCA (Société royale pour la prévention de la cruauté envers les animaux) locale juste à côté de chez moi et Simon se rend à la « fête » annuelle pour aider à collecter des fonds pour eux afin qu'il obtienne mon vote, c'est sûr.
Quant à la finale..... je pense que Crystal aurait dû gagner. Elle était une chanteuse bien supérieure au visage de Lee et Simon et la façon dont il applaudissait à la fin en disait long. Ce n'était pas un homme heureux.
