With St. Patricks day fast approaching, i thought it would be fun to add some lucky charms when we gamble:
Lucky Charms
Horseshoes
The most recognizable symbol of good luck is that of the Horseshoe. Placed upright, on a front door it is believed to allow good luck to enter your home.
Shamrock
The three leafed clover of the Shamrock symbolises not only the Holy Trinity but also health, wealth and happiness. The 'luck of the Irish' has always been associated with the wearing of the Shamrock.
Acorn
The Acorn is of course the nut of the Oak tree. Carrying a fallen Acorn is believed to ensure youthfulness to the owner and can attract both wealth and love.
SPITTING
Gamblers spit on their hands to guarantee luck.
Elephant
For the best luck and prosperity, decorate with an elephant, especially one with its trunk raised. The elephant represents intelligence, strength and kindness – for extra luck, get a statue that’s holding an ear of corn, which represents abundance.
Sneezing
Sneezing first thing in the morning.
Sneezing to the right.
STAIRS
Tripping while going upstairs.
PRAYING MANTIS
Seeing a mantas...Some believe that a praying mantis kneels when angels are near.
Pig
As a charm or an ornament.

Éléphant
Pour plus de chance et de prospérité, décorez avec un éléphant, surtout avec sa trompe relevée. L'éléphant représente l'intelligence, la force et la gentillesse. Pour plus de chance, procurez-vous une statue qui tient un épi de maïs, qui représente l'abondance.
Éternuements
Éternuer tôt le matin.
Éternuer à droite.
ESCALIERS
Trébucher en montant les escaliers.
MANTE RELIGIEUSE
Voir une mante... Certains croient qu'une mante religieuse s'agenouille lorsque les anges sont proches.

Lately I have a gold ring I wear strictly to the casino or when I am spinning. It is two dice, side by side. Fake diamonds for the dots on the dice.
Looks like something Elvis might of worn, HAHA
But I wear that and consider it my "Lucky charm" ring.
So far the only thing I can get it to do for me is look cheap on my finger. lol

Dernièrement, j'ai une bague en or que je porte strictement au casino ou lorsque je tourne. Ce sont deux dés côte à côte. Faux diamants pour les points des dés.
On dirait quelque chose qu'Elvis aurait pu porter, HAHA
Mais je porte ça et je le considère comme ma bague « porte-bonheur ».
Jusqu'à présent, la seule chose que je peux faire pour moi est d'avoir l'air bon marché à mon doigt. mdr

I have always considered #5 as my lucky number.
Yes, I try and find the fifth space from a curb section for parking (Yes, I have searched a lot for 10 min to find it..Thought I was going to say 5 min didn'tcha?
)
I NEVER shave before going to a casino...No matter if it's been one day or a few months.
I ALWAYS shower...I have been in some casinos that "A few" players reeked,,,
I ALWAYS fill my car gas tank and check oil before going also (Better to not worry going home with a low tank)
I always check my attitude (Usually) "I am going to have fun and relax, if I win, all the better, but if I lose, I knew the odds before going"
That's (Usually) what I do, I learned the hard way about gas.J'ai toujours considéré le n°5 comme mon chiffre porte-bonheur.
Oui, j'essaie de trouver la cinquième place dans une section de trottoir pour me garer (Oui, j'ai beaucoup cherché pendant 10 minutes pour la trouver.. Je pensais que j'allais dire 5 minutes, n'est-ce pas ? )
Je ne me rase JAMAIS avant d'aller au casino... Peu importe si cela fait un jour ou quelques mois.
Je me douche TOUJOURS... Je suis allé dans certains casinos où "quelques" joueurs puaient,,,
Je remplis TOUJOURS le réservoir d'essence de ma voiture et vérifie l'huile avant de partir (mieux vaut ne pas s'inquiéter en rentrant chez moi avec un réservoir bas)
Je vérifie toujours mon attitude (Habituellement) "Je vais m'amuser et me détendre, si je gagne, tant mieux, mais si je perds, je connaissais les chances avant d'y aller"
C'est (habituellement) ce que je fais, j'ai appris à mes dépens le gaz. -

My lucky charm is talking to what i call my "angel of luck"! When i am down to my last dollar i will say to myself ..."ok angel of luck if your around i could really use your help just about now"!
Sometimes it works...........sometimes she is just too busy.......he he he!
LipsMon porte-bonheur parle à ce que j'appelle mon « ange de la chance » ! Quand j'en serai à mon dernier dollar, je me dirai... "ok, ange de chance, si tu es là, j'aurais vraiment besoin de ton aide à peu près maintenant" !
Parfois ça marche..........parfois elle est tout simplement trop occupée.......he he he !

I guess mine really isn't a good luck charm, but a keep the bad luck away ritual! lol
No matter who I go with (My mom, man, sister or best friend) I tell them from the beginning, DO NOT ASK ME HOW I AM DOING, DONT EVEN TALK TO ME IF I AM AT A TABLE OR MACHINE. HEHE
My mom thought I was joking and she came and sat by me at my aunts wedding in Miden, Nevada. I snapped at her, GET AWAT YOUR BAD LUCK! I know it's not good thing when I get up to casino and realize I left my money at home. Sometimes giving my machine a little kick below helps.
Je sais que ce n'est pas une bonne chose quand j'arrive au casino et que je réalise que j'ai laissé mon argent à la maison. Parfois, donner un petit coup de pied à ma machine ci-dessous aide.
