They are "cryptic" clues as much as they can be. Some are hand names, some are poker terms and some are poker players. It's a bit of a mixture.
If you aren't used to doing cryptic crosswords, it may well be quite difficult.

Ce sont autant d’indices « énigmatiques » qu’ils peuvent l’être. Certains sont des noms de mains, d'autres des termes de poker et d'autres encore des joueurs de poker. C'est un peu un mélange.
Si vous n’avez pas l’habitude de faire des mots croisés énigmatiques, cela peut s’avérer assez difficile.

13 across is boat (B.O. (short for body odour)....comes together AT the end BO plus AT =Boat)
17 across is sandbagging
7 down is promotion (short professional = pro / movement = motion)
10 down is glossary (shiny = gloss / Harry (no HR leaves ary))
As for 19 across - I'm not sure what happened with that clue

Oh thank goodness you finally got back to this! Here is how it went with the 5 4 questions I missed...
13 Across... I was feeling like a teeter-totter going back and forth between boat and bait... *-*
17 Across... Never thought of sandbagging cause slowplaying worked for me LOL
7 Down....... I knew it was pro something... one point thought of promotion... lost that thought and made it too hard... 8p
10 Down..... Never got close to glossary... but, Phil Ivey was pretty creative... HR being Sen. Harry Reid... and Phil Ivey being at a presentation by Reid in Nevada regarding gambling... 8'|
And 19 across... I can't count my answer as wrong because there was no clue and at that time "HaveNoClue" was absolutely correct and at this time with a clue it is still absolutely correct because I still "HaveNoClue" !!

I would have to say hand "C" for all 3. Although the other 2 have "potential" to be stronger hands they are nothing at this point in the hand.

Thanks blue, glad to be feeling well enough to spend a bit of time here.
As for number 4... I am still having a heck of a time with outs... I almost said 16 because you only have 2 cards left to be dealt, but here is what I did to come up with 32...
You are dealt 10/J Hearts and the flop is 8 Hearts, 9 Clubs, A Hearts.
So, I figured you have the 8,9,10,J toward a straight... so you have 4 7's and 4 Q's in the deck for 8 outs. Then you have the 8,10, J, A of hearts, toward a flush, leaving 9 other hearts in the deck for 9 outs. Then you could get a pair of any of the cards and there are 3 more of each of those for 15 outs, which makes 8+9+15=32 outs. And as I said I almost said 16 because you only have 2 cards left to go.
But, as I was typing that I see that you could also get a K and Q for a straight too... for 8 more outs making 40 outs and cut in half because of only 2 cards left that would be 20 outs! And now I am laughing too hard to go on! LOL LOL LOL....
Please tell me how I really should have figured this out exactly. You can see I need a lot of help here! LOL LOL LOL

Ensuite, vous pouvez obtenir une paire de n'importe laquelle des cartes et il y en a 3 supplémentaires de chacune pour 15 retraits, ce qui fait 8+9+15=32 retraits. Et comme je l'ai dit, j'ai failli dire 16 car il ne vous reste plus que 2 cartes.
Mais, pendant que je tapais cela, je vois que vous pouvez également obtenir un K et un Q pour une quinte aussi... pour 8 outs supplémentaires, soit 40 outs et coupés en deux à cause de seulement 2 cartes restantes, cela ferait 20 outs ! Et maintenant, je ris trop fort pour continuer ! MDR MDR MDR....
S'il vous plaît, dites-moi comment j'aurais vraiment dû comprendre cela exactement. Vous pouvez voir que j'ai besoin de beaucoup d'aide ici ! Mdr Mdr Mdr

This is how I worked it out. You have a flush and a straight draw. You are right about the 7s and the Qs which = 8 for the straight. For the flush there are 9 more cards however you have already included 7h and Qh for the straight so that knocks it down to 7. 8+7 = 15.
You can't count the K because that would be reliant upon you getting the Q. You can't count your 8s/9s/10s/Js for pairs because there is an ace on the board and if someone is holding an ace, you are beaten. If you wanted to include your 10s and Js though, that would add another 6 cards making 21.

C'est ainsi que j'ai résolu le problème. Vous avez une couleur et un tirage quinte. Vous avez raison sur les 7 et les Q qui = 8 pour la quinte. Pour la couleur, il y a 9 cartes supplémentaires, mais vous avez déjà inclus 7h et Qh pour la quinte, ce qui la ramène à 7. 8+7 = 15.
Vous ne pouvez pas compter le K car cela dépendrait de votre obtention du Q. Vous ne pouvez pas compter vos 8/9/10/J pour les paires car il y a un as sur le tableau et si quelqu'un détient un as, vous sont battus. Si vous vouliez inclure vos 10 et vos J, cela ajouterait 6 cartes supplémentaires, ce qui ferait 21.
