The LCB Great Pumpkin Patch Contest!

It is October and that means a month of pumpkins everywhere! LCB is searching high and low in the great patch for anything that is pumpkin. The sky is the limit as to what can be found in this special garden. 

Are there carved pumpkins, pies, cookies, goodies, drinks etc? Tell us what you have found in our mythical patch! But remember we are only searching for PUMPKIN related treasures!

To access the LCB Shop find the drop-down menu under your name in the top left corner above the header and click “Redeem Credits”. Purchase gifts in our LCB Shop with your shop cash. It’s as easy as that!

RULES

1. One entry per day

2. To qualify for this contest, you must be a member for at least one month. In this case, only members that have joined on or before September 5th, 2017 are eligible.

3. Any member having more than one account to enter the contest will be disqualified.

4. After contest period ends, all prize winners will be declared and credited shortly thereafter.

5. LCB has the right to terminate this contest or amend at any time and void all wins should any unforeseen issues arise or abuse is indicated.

6. LCB Cash can ONLY be redeemed in the LCB Shop.

7. Prize money can be redeemed immediately or can be accumulated to save for bigger prizes.

8. Max number of times a member can win is ONCE. In the event, you do continue answering in the contest, your answer and prizes won will be forfeited. This applies to ONLY any contests where winners are announced on a daily basis.

Pumpkin family

1 Cup of entree flour
1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate
3 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2cup ground almonds very fine
Salt spray
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cup boiled and crushed gourd or ready-made pumpkins
1 1/2cup soft butter
1 small hanging vanilla
6 eggs
2 1/2 white sugar
1 cup liquid milk
Ingredients:
1 pack of almonds or almonds in green
1 pack of cream
6 cup sugar powder
1 large hanging vanilla
1 small hanging orange color
4 teaspoon melted chocolate

A pumpkin is very similar to what we ahve, the KALABASA (a swuash), Squash and pumpkin belong to the same family (the cucurbitaceae).  Many farmers plant kalabasa here but only a few raise pumpkin.  Some pumpkins can be bought but have a pricey value than the local kalabasa.  Both of them have very good nutrients in them ,essential for the body.   When we were kids, the oldies often told us to eat them for they will make our eyes beautiful and vision clear..

Though the kalabasa got somewhat twisted here for they have created an award bearing its name, the Kalabasa Award - which is more like a shame award.  Normally, public officials not doing their jobs usually gets this, though some don't really get in their way to get this award :lol:  Then in a leading newspaper, a daily kalabasa award is being given, covering public officials , from the lowly barangay councilor up to the President himself.

Pumpkin, it exist therefore it has a purpose.  Be it as food or decoration, gotta live with it :D
