Hi Everyone,
Wanted to share my experience yesterday at a Casino i went to. I went to Four Winds Casino in Michigan. After hearing such rave reviews about it i thought i would travel the hour and a half outside Chicago to visit it. This has to be the largest casino in the midwest. Upon registration a map of the casino is given out to find your way around. It is reminiscent of a resort setting. When you first enter the grand entrance way their is a beautiful fire place that adds warmth to the atmosphere. It is rustic in motif with a lot of
d architecture.
They offer an array of slots machines that were surely please everyone. Denominations starting a 1 cent. I particularly liked the video poker games they offered. I played a game called "poker quads"...a unique way to get a four of a kind. For example if you have three 7's on the draw.. if the next to cards add up to 7 its four of a kind. I thought it was pretty cool.
The buffet who's recipes were taken from Ms. Paula Dean herself was incredible. There is approximately a mile long store fronts to shop in.
My only complaint there is the lay out. The casino floor is not divided into sections. So if your looking for a particular denomination to play or looking for video poker it is pretty scattered throughout.
Though i did not come home a winner...i really enjoyed it!
If you have a favorite casino please share it with us...it just might be worth traveling to it!
