I played in a Rush tourney on Full Tilt and it was not good.
The buyin was $4 + 40c and the tourney is pretty much the same as the ring "Rush" poker. The play was absolutely abominable as per the ring games. Players were stealing blinds by betting big and if you retaliated with a re-raise they generally folded. If you did manage to see a flop, the betting was ridiculous and so you had no chance of actually playing a hand unless you went all in.
I have to say that I definitely will NOT be playing one of these tournaments again. I went out at about 220th or somewhere around there. I have to say the game really hacked me off. It wasn't what I would class as a "proper" game of poker. I can't even remember what I went out on - I believe I had QQ and got beaten by a 92 or something like that.
I certainly do not recommend these tourneys.
On a lighter note - I played in a $1, 90 seater sitngo last night and I think I started it at about midnight and it finished at 5 a.m. I did manage to place 3rd and won $9.90 - not really a great return for all those hours playing poker but a good return for a $1 buyin.
It started off with the usual "all ins" and fishy plays but once the "not so good" players were gone, it was an excellent game. The play was tight and passive which really suited my style. I had a few great hands where I managed to double or even treble up - knocking 2 players out in one hand.
If you want to learn "tournament" play, I can highly recommend these 90 seaters as you will get some good players in them - you just have to fish out the bad players first. Patience is the key to playing poker but you need plenty of patience during tournament play and these games are a great starting point. They are good fun, there are good players (along with the bad of course) and if you make the final table, you can get a reasonable return for your buy in. I have to say that I use the term "reasonable" quite loosely here as 5 hours for a $9.90 return isn't particularly great. But you have to start somewhere and I think this is the place to start. I do want to play higher value tourneys and I need to be on top of my "tourney" game before I start higher buyins. I love tournaments and I have had some great wins in the past but it's amazing how quickly you get out of the tourney habits when you play sitngos. I'm looking forward to the bigger buyins.
I'll post a more detailed game next time but I've enjoyed just telling you guys how I feel.

Sur une note plus légère - j'ai joué dans un sitngo à 1 90 places hier soir et je pense que je l'ai commencé vers minuit et il s'est terminé à 5 heures du matin. J'ai réussi à me classer 3ème et j'ai gagné 9,90 $ - ce n'est pas vraiment un bon retour pour toutes ces heures. jouer au poker mais un bon retour pour un buy-in de 1 $.
Cela a commencé avec les habituels "all ins" et les jeux de poisson, mais une fois les joueurs "pas très bons" partis, ce fut un excellent jeu. Le jeu était serré et passif, ce qui convenait vraiment à mon style. J'ai eu quelques bonnes mains où j'ai réussi à doubler ou même tripler - en éliminant 2 joueurs en une seule main.
Si vous souhaitez apprendre le jeu en "tournoi", je peux fortement vous recommander ces 90 places car vous y trouverez de bons joueurs - il vous suffit d'abord de repérer les mauvais joueurs. La patience est la clé pour jouer au poker, mais vous en avez besoin pendant les tournois et ces jeux sont un excellent point de départ. C'est très amusant, il y a de bons joueurs (avec des mauvais bien sûr) et si vous arrivez à la table finale, vous pouvez obtenir un retour raisonnable pour votre buy-in. Je dois dire que j'utilise le terme « raisonnable » de manière assez vague. ici, 5 heures pour un retour de 9,90 $, ce n'est pas particulièrement génial. Mais il faut commencer quelque part et je pense que c’est ici qu’il faut commencer. Je veux jouer à des tournois de plus grande valeur et je dois être au top de mon jeu de « tournoi » avant de commencer des buyins plus élevés. J'adore les tournois et j'ai remporté de belles victoires dans le passé, mais c'est incroyable à quelle vitesse on s'éloigne des habitudes des tournois lorsque l'on joue aux sitngos. J'attends avec impatience les plus gros buyins.
Je publierai un jeu plus détaillé la prochaine fois, mais j'ai aimé vous dire ce que je ressens.

Logged into Full Tilt, where I have most of my money and I fancied playing a matrix tourney. Just a $1 buy in. I have to say that I played like a donkey. :o I don't know what was wrong with me but needless to say, I was knocked out of 3 of the 4 tables (quite unluckily in 2 cases I have to add). The last game I managed to win which raised me from bottom of the entire tourney to 4th. I won 78c for the win on the last table.
I then bought into a $2 + 25c sitngo. Just a 6 seater. I felt like a bit of a spectator because I had no decent hands at all. They were all rubbish. It wasn't too many hands though before someone was knocked out. Their 
not holding up against 
which hit a straight on the river.
The very next hand another player was out - all in with 
against the same player who hit their straight in the previous hand. He had 
and hit a pair of Jacks on the flop to win.
I'm unsure what was thinking as the flop was 
and at that point he reraised all in. I guess he thought he could bluff the other guy off the hand but sadly for him, it failed miserably.
I played an old favourite trick of mine (and I shouldn't really give some of my "tricks" away) but as Medtrans and Dirk are probably the only ones that actually read this blog (thank you Medtrans and Dirk), I don't think it will matter too much in my little world of poker. I was one away from BB and I allowed myself to time out and technically I was "sitting out". My BB arrives and I have 
- a very nice hand indeed. I guess that everyone had "noted" I had timed out and everyone flat called my BB assuming that they would be able to steal my blind. The flop came down 
. SB was first to act and by the time they had made their decision, I had already "pre" clicked "check". Needless to say the guy with the straight a few hands ago bet 150. Everyone folds and I raised him to 400 and he called.
The turn comes down 
. Joy - I have a full house. Now it's not too often that this "away play" pays off but on this occasion it did. The pot was a total of 1,000 so without further ado, I went all in for 975. The opponent folded and I showed the hand. I don't always show the hand but I will if it's a good one and I want a little respect from the other players.
Many hands on having hardly played anything at all, I am dealt 
and I'm SB. The dealer raises to 450 and I re-raised to 1550. I didnt want any limpers with rubbish calling. Everyone folds except the dealer who originally raised and the hands show. He has 
- nice hand too. I was slightly worried...until the flop came down.
, the turn is 
and the river . Lucky me.
Down to 3 players now and just one away from the money.
There wasn't too much going on for quite a few hands which gave me a great opportunity to study the play by the the other 2 players. There was one who only played premium hands and seemed to be quite a good player and then there was the guy that made the early straight who just seemed to think it was his god given right to steal our blinds. He came unstuck a few times from me with a re-raise and a call. After the flop, I would bet high and he folded. So I had correctly guessed his game.
There was one of those irritating hands that happens quite often with online poker. Two players have the same hand and one of them gets lucky and hits a flush. Well that happened to the "straight" guy - he got lucky with his to hit the flush even though he and the other player had the same starting hand.
This left the premium hand player quite short stacked and the first good hand he had, he was all in.
The "straight" guy called his raise and they showed their hands:
for the premium hand player and 
for the "straight" guy.
Flop came down 
At this point you just know that the 6 will arrive to give the worst hand the win. Needless to say he hit it on the river. The turn was 
and the river . The player that was knocked out was pretty fed up, as you can understand. He was unlucky with his identical hand and he lost this great hand to a donk call.
Two of us left and I know I have my work cut out with this player.
The game went on for quite a while and neither of us really played a hand. He kept trying to nick my blinds and I kept retaliating and nicking his. We were fairly even on the chip front. I had 4690 and my opponent (the straight guy) had 4310.
I'm dealt 
and I quite like the look of this hand at this particular moment in time. I'm BB and SB does his usual raise so I called.
The flop was very pretty and was 
. So not only do I have a flush draw (9 outs) I have a straight draw with another 3 outs. I was first to act so I bet the pot (1200) and my opponent re-raised all in. Without thinking, I just called him which left me with 380 chips.
He showed his hand 
The turn was and the river was . I had the bigger flush and won the game and took $7.80 for my troubles.
I enjoyed the game and I just knew I was going to whoop this guys butt. I get this "gut" feeling about some games and this was one of those games.

Je dois dire que j'ai joué comme un âne. :o Je ne sais pas ce qui n'allait pas chez moi mais il va sans dire que j'ai été éliminé de 3 des 4 tables (assez malchanceux dans 2 cas je dois ajouter). Le dernier match que j'ai réussi à gagner m'a fait passer du bas de tout le tournoi à la 4ème place. J'ai gagné 78c pour la victoire sur la dernière table.
J'ai ensuite acheté un sitngo à 2 $ + 25c. Juste un 6 places. Je me sentais un peu spectateur parce que je n’avais aucune main décente. C’étaient tous des déchets. Mais il n'y avait pas beaucoup de mains avant que quelqu'un ne soit éliminé. Leur ne pas résister qui a touché une quinte sur la rivière.
La main suivante, un autre joueur était éliminé - à tapis avec contre le même joueur qui a touché sa quinte lors de la main précédente. Il avait et frappez une paire de Valets au flop pour gagner.
Je ne suis pas sûr de quoi je pensais au moment où le flop était et à ce moment-là, il a sur-relancé à tapis. Je suppose qu'il pensait pouvoir bluffer l'autre joueur, mais malheureusement pour lui, cela a lamentablement échoué.
J'ai joué un de mes vieux trucs préférés (et je ne devrais pas vraiment dévoiler certains de mes "trucs") mais comme Medtrans et Dirk sont probablement les seuls à lire réellement ce blog (merci Medtrans et Dirk), je ne le fais pas. Je ne pense pas que cela aura trop d'importance dans mon petit monde du poker. J'étais à un moment de BB et je me suis permis de prendre un temps mort et techniquement, j'étais "assis". Mon BB arrive et j'ai - une très belle main en effet. Je suppose que tout le monde avait "remarqué" que j'avais expiré et que tout le monde a appelé mon BB en supposant qu'ils seraient capables de voler mon blind. Le flop est tombé . SB a été le premier à agir et au moment où ils ont pris leur décision, j'avais déjà "pré" cliqué sur "vérifier". Inutile de dire que le gars avec la quinte il y a quelques mains a misé 150. Tout le monde s'est couché et je l'ai relancé à 400 et il a suivi.
Le tour descend . Joy - J'ai une salle pleine. Aujourd'hui, ce n'est pas très souvent que ce "jeu à l'extérieur" porte ses fruits, mais cette fois-ci, cela a été le cas. Le pot était au total de 1 000 donc sans plus tarder, j'ai fait tapis pour 975. L'adversaire s'est couché et j'ai montré la main. Je ne montre pas toujours la main mais je le ferai si elle est bonne et je veux un peu de respect de la part des autres joueurs.
Beaucoup de mains n'ayant pratiquement rien joué, je suis distribué et je suis SB. Le croupier relance à 450 et j'ai sur-relancé à 1550. Je ne voulais pas qu'un limper suive inutilement. Tout le monde se couche sauf le croupier qui a initialement relancé et les mains se montrent. Il a - belle main aussi. J'étais légèrement inquiet... jusqu'à ce que le flop tombe.

Il ne reste plus que 3 joueurs et un seul loin de l'argent.
Il ne s'est pas passé grand-chose pendant plusieurs mains, ce qui m'a donné une excellente occasion d'étudier le jeu des deux autres joueurs. Il y en avait un qui ne jouait que des mains premium et semblait être un assez bon joueur, puis il y avait celui qui avait fait la première quinte et qui semblait simplement penser que c'était son droit de voler nos blinds. Il s'est détaché à plusieurs reprises avec une sur-relance et un suivi. Après le flop, je misais haut et il se couchait. J'avais donc bien deviné son jeu.
Il y a eu une de ces mains irritantes qui arrivent assez souvent au poker en ligne. Deux joueurs ont la même main et l'un d'eux a de la chance et obtient une couleur. Eh bien, c'est arrivé au gars "hétéro" - il a eu de la chance avec son toucher la couleur même si lui et l'autre joueur avaient la même main de départ.
Cela a laissé le joueur de la main premium assez petit tapis et la première bonne main qu'il a eu, il était à tapis.
Le "hétéro" a suivi sa relance et ils ont montré leurs mains :

Le flop est tombé À ce stade, vous savez simplement que le 6 arrivera pour donner la victoire à la pire main. Inutile de dire qu'il a frappé à la rivière. Le tour était et la rivière . Le joueur éliminé en avait assez, comme vous pouvez le comprendre. Il n'a pas eu de chance avec sa main identique et il a perdu cette superbe main à cause d'un donk call.
Deux d’entre nous sont partis et je sais que j’ai du pain sur la planche avec ce joueur.
Le jeu a duré un bon moment et aucun de nous n’a vraiment joué une main. Il a continué à essayer de voler mes blinds et j'ai continué à riposter et à voler les siens. Nous étions assez équilibrés sur le front des jetons. J'avais 4690 et mon adversaire (l'hétéro) avait 4310.

Whenever I think about poker, I always think about my favourite site that "was". Pacific Poker was pretty much the 2nd poker site I went to. I loved it there. The players were awesome, the games were amazing, even the colour of the chips were pretty fantastic. I always think about the game that started with 4000+ players and I ended up on the final table. It wasn't played to the end because the top 8 made it to the next round of a million dollar game. I really enjoyed that game and it will always be in my memory as my most favourite.
I used to sit and watch the high stakes games for hours on there - the players were really good and you were always guaranteed a great game on that site.
Then they changed the software. What a disaster that was. I lost all my points I had accumulated, any money I had on there was gone and the site pretty much went downhill in my eyes. It's still a great site but that was always my favourite "as it was before the update" and it was a sad day when they changed it.
Anyway, enough ramblings from me.

Si seulement j'étais un pro, un commentateur et un analyste.
Chaque fois que je pense au poker, je pense toujours à mon site préféré qui "était". Pacific Poker était à peu près le deuxième site de poker sur lequel je suis allé. J'ai adoré là-bas. Les joueurs étaient géniaux, les jeux étaient incroyables, même la couleur des jetons était plutôt fantastique. Je pense toujours au jeu qui a commencé avec plus de 4 000 joueurs et qui s'est terminé en table finale. Cela n'a pas été joué jusqu'au bout car les 8 premiers ont atteint le tour suivant d'un match à un million de dollars. J'ai vraiment apprécié ce jeu et il restera toujours dans ma mémoire comme mon préféré.
J'avais l'habitude de m'asseoir et de regarder les parties à enjeux élevés pendant des heures - les joueurs étaient vraiment bons et vous aviez toujours la garantie d'un bon jeu sur ce site.
Puis ils ont changé le logiciel. Quel désastre ce fut. J'ai perdu tous mes points que j'avais accumulés, tout l'argent que j'avais là-bas avait disparu et le site s'est pratiquement dégradé à mes yeux. C'est toujours un excellent site mais il a toujours été mon préféré "tel qu'il était avant la mise à jour" et ce fut un triste jour lorsqu'ils l'ont modifié.
Bref, assez de divagations de ma part.
Je vous remercie pour vos aimables paroles. Ils sont vraiment appréciés.

anyhow, i read your 2 cents post on rng, and i too feel the same way, hence why i rarely play..
only full tilt, but not even because of the playerquality, but because i dont want to deposit for poker anymore, and they have lots of daily freerolls :P
but i do have a heart for poker, and thats why i love following your blog.
maybe soon there will be more platforms with this new rng, and then i will consider, however, ill play all the lcb tourneys on full tilt, and i still play monthly live tourneys ^^

Thank you for reading my 2 cents on RNG's. I don't think the poker sites realise how many palyers they lose because of it....or rather how many deposits they lose.
I'm wondering if realdeal will ever take off. They announced WSOP games now so I'm keeping a close eye on that site.
I still can't get a game on Truepoker and I did deposit on there - my money just sits there for now. I can understand why you don't deposit though - I have money on several sites and try not to deposit if I can help it (hence the cheap games).

Merci d'avoir lu mes 2 cents sur les RNG. Je ne pense pas que les sites de poker réalisent combien de joueurs ils perdent à cause de cela... ou plutôt combien de dépôts ils perdent.
Je me demande si le realdeal décollera un jour. Ils ont annoncé les jeux WSOP maintenant, donc je garde un œil attentif sur ce site.
Je ne parviens toujours pas à jouer sur Truepoker et j'y ai effectué un dépôt - mon argent reste là pour le moment. Cependant, je peux comprendre pourquoi vous ne déposez pas - j'ai de l'argent sur plusieurs sites et j'essaie de ne pas déposer si je peux l'aider (d'où les jeux bon marché).

Today I'm having a game on 365Bonitas Poker.
It's a 10 seater 50c + 10c sitngo turbo. I should comment that the play on this site is pretty bad. However, it's not too different to other sites so here goes anyway.
As is the norm., two players were all in first hand. (I read somehwere that 9 out of 11 all ins (first person to go all in that is} will result in a win.) Thats a pretty amazing statistic. Sorry - I digress.
Two guys are all in first hand and they show their hands: versus . Before I even display the table cards, you know instantly what is going to happen here.

I just knew that the 2 would come somewhere in that hand.
I'm doing my usual posting and folding but I did manage to hit a flush on the river where everyone was checking. I bet 60 (80 in the pot) and was raised to 300. Two callers and I won.
The players are dropping like flies and they are all going out with any ace with a rag. I struggle to understand why a player would go all in pre flop with Ace high with a 3 kicker. It really doesnt make sense to me at all. I guess they must have seen it on TV or something and the player got lucky wiht trips or something. Anyway, we are down to 6 players because of the all in Ace rag players.

Just had my blinds stolen too. I'm smallest stack too. I'm BB next and I really do need a great hand. I got and there are only two of us in the hand. SB calls so I just raise all in and take the blinds. It's a pretty good move if you are heads up with just the one person who flat called you.
Blinds are now 300/600 and I'm raising all in with . I get one caller and he shows his hand:
The flop is , turn is . The only cards that can save me are any spade (9 outs) or any ace (3 outs). Lucky for me the river was .

It was a reasonable game and whilst I didn't win anything, the play was slightly better than at the beginning.

Je fais mon placement habituel et je me couche, mais j'ai réussi à toucher une couleur à la rivière où tout le monde checkait. J'ai misé 60 (80 dans le pot) et j'ai été relancé à 300. Deux call et moi avons gagné.
Les joueurs tombent comme des mouches et ils sortent tous avec n'importe quel as avec un chiffon. J'ai du mal à comprendre pourquoi un joueur ferait tapis pré-flop avec As high et un kicker 3. Cela n’a vraiment aucun sens pour moi. Je suppose qu'ils ont dû le voir à la télévision ou quelque chose comme ça et le joueur a eu de la chance avec des voyages ou quelque chose comme ça. Quoi qu'il en soit, nous sommes tombés à 6 joueurs à cause des joueurs all in Ace rag.

Le jeu est très serré et les blinds vont jusqu'à 150/300. Mon tapis diminue rapidement et je n'ai plus aucune main.
Je viens aussi de me faire voler mes stores. Je suis aussi le plus petit stack. Je suis ensuite BB et j'ai vraiment besoin d'un bon coup de main. j'ai eu et nous ne sommes que deux dans la main. SB suit donc je relance all-in et prends les blinds. C'est une très bonne décision si vous êtes en tête-à-tête avec seulement la seule personne qui vous a appelé.
Les blinds sont maintenant à 300/600 et je relance all-in avec . Je reçois un appel et il montre sa main :
Le flop est , c'est le tour . Les seules cartes qui peuvent me sauver sont n'importe quel pique (9 outs) ou n'importe quel as (3 outs). Heureusement pour moi, la rivière était .
Ma nouvelle joie fut de courte durée car mon tapis diminuait rapidement avec les énormes blinds. Après ça, je n'ai plus pu mettre la main et j'ai fini par être à tapis avec contre . Inutile de dire que j'ai perdu et que je suis sorti à la 4ème place.
C'était un match raisonnable et même si je n'ai rien gagné, le jeu était légèrement meilleur qu'au début.

I took some time out to visit 365Bonitas Poker today.
For one thing, I wanted to try and find these tourneys that I have 2 x free $11 tickets for and secondly and more importantly, I wanted a game so I can post it in here.
I joined a $3 "double up" tourney. These games are great as the play is generally a better quality and half the entrants will double their investment. I decided that I would try and write up the game "as I went". Boy was that a bad idea. Unfortunately, the hand history at 365Bonitas doesn't update as the game goes along so you have to close the hand history window and load it up afresh. I was messing around trying to find the hand where the first person had gone out (as I missed it).
The hand history screen is not too hot but it does the job. I was clicking next, next, next.....trying to find the hand. Previous, previous, next, next, next....you get the picture. I was trolling through the hands trying to find where the first player had gone out. I clicked next......but the game screen popped up just as I went to click next and I accidentally clicked on the ALL IN button. :o

D'une part, je voulais essayer de trouver ces tournois pour lesquels j'ai 2 billets gratuits à 11 $ et, d'autre part, et plus important encore, je voulais un jeu pour pouvoir le publier ici.
J'ai rejoint un tournoi "double up" à 3 $. Ces jeux sont excellents car le jeu est généralement de meilleure qualité et la moitié des participants doubleront leur investissement. J'ai décidé d'essayer d'écrire le jeu "au fur et à mesure". C'était une mauvaise idée. Malheureusement, l'historique des mains sur 365Bonitas ne se met pas à jour au fur et à mesure du jeu, vous devez donc fermer la fenêtre de l'historique des mains et la charger à nouveau. J'étais en train de déconner en essayant de trouver la main par laquelle la première personne était sortie (car je l'ai ratée).
L’écran de l’historique des mains n’est pas trop chaud mais il fait le job. Je cliquais sur suivant, suivant, suivant... en essayant de trouver la main. Précédent, précédent, suivant, suivant, suivant... vous voyez l'image. Je parcourais les mains en essayant de trouver où le premier joueur était sorti. J'ai cliqué sur Suivant... mais l'écran de jeu est apparu juste au moment où j'allais cliquer sur Suivant et j'ai accidentellement cliqué sur le bouton ALL IN. :o

Having a quick dollar game on 365 Bonitas. (Writing this as it goes)
2nd hand in and Im dealt . I just flat called (Im SB). Flop is 
and everyone checks. The turn is . First to act bets 40 and with 3 over cards on the table, I have no choice but to fold. The river was . A nice straight won the hand.
Pocket 8s isnt a great hand but its definitely worth a call when the pot isnt raised. Had I hit the trips on the flop, I would certainly have been trying to steal that pot before the turn card came.
Im just posting and folding and amazingly, nobody went all in on the first hand. That has to be a first for a long time.
Whilst I was writing this someone just went out with against 
losing to a pair of jacks on the river (despite being in the lead on the flop) with a pair of 10s.
Ive just been dealt and the bet is 100 so I called. Lovely flop

It's a very tight game and play is a bit slow too. I think I'm in for a long one here.
I just was dealt , the blinds are 75/150 and I was dealer. Great position to steal the blind so I just min raised to 300.
BB calls and the flop comes down . My opponent goes all in for 880 so I called. He shows his hand . The turn is and I thought, here we go - Im going out now to a straight. Fortunatel the river was a and I won the hand and he was gone.
Another player just went out (whilst I was writing the above ) and we are down to 6 players.
And another one just bit the dust losing with King high to Ace high. We are now down to 4.
The blinds are crippling me and Im next out unless I get a hand. I just got and so I went all in. 2 callers. The flop is . The two other players do their betting. The turn is . So I need any 9 or any Q to make a straight. The river was so that is the end of me losing to . I came 4th and no payout for me :(
It wasn't such a long game as I expected because it was a turbo game. I must make a note to myself to not play turbos. They really don't suit my style of play.

Ce n’était pas un match aussi long que prévu car c’était un jeu turbo. Je dois me faire remarquer de ne pas jouer aux turbos. Ils ne conviennent vraiment pas à mon style de jeu.

I've been meaning to post this for a couple of days now and I finally have time to post it.
It's not a "blow by blow" account of the game but I was pretty pleased at the end of it. I joined in the free "poker million" freerolls that are running on Full Tilt.
It was a very slow game to start and everyone was playing pretty tight. I posted and folded quite a bit and tried to stick to pocket pairs and premium hands. With the premium hands I was raising and with the medium pockets, I was limping hoping to hit trips.
It worked a couple of times and I got lucky a couple of times too where there was no raise and I hit trips on the turn.
As the game went along and the blinds increased, the chip leaders starting bullying the smaller stacks to steal their chips. Normal play I guess but I did raise all in at one point when I was down to about 600 chips with . I was the BB and there were 3 callers. The flop came down 
. They all checked. The turn was and they all checked again. I felt sure it was all over for me. The river came and it was . Again, they all checked. My hand showed and they all mucked. So I quadrupled my stack in one hand.
Many hands went by and I managed to steal a few blinds. Things were slightly better but it was a difficult fight and the blinds were crippling at 2000/4000. All I needed was to be in the top 27 to win a ticket to the next round. There were 1005 players all from the UK.
It was hovering at 32 players for a very long time and at one point I dipped to 31st. I felt sure that I was going to lose. However, I was dealt and two hands running so my stack was up to about 30k which took me to 18th after I managed to get a couple of callers on one hand.
I posted and folded for quite a few hands and then it was down to 29. I knew I had sufficient a stack to get through a few rounds of blinds and hesitated a lot if I got a reasonable hand.
Finally, it was down to 27 and the game was over.
I have secured a ticket to the next round - I just hope my "luck" and patience continue.

Cela fait quelques jours que je voulais poster ceci et j'ai enfin le temps de le poster.
Ce n'est pas un récit "coup par coup" du jeu mais j'étais plutôt content à la fin. J'ai participé aux freerolls gratuits "Poker Million" organisés sur Full Tilt .
Le début du match a été très lent et tout le monde jouait assez serré. J'ai posté et passé pas mal et j'ai essayé de m'en tenir aux pocket paires et aux mains premium. Avec les mains premium que je relançais et avec les poches moyennes, je limpais dans l'espoir de réussir un brelan.
Cela a fonctionné plusieurs fois et j'ai eu de la chance à plusieurs reprises également car il n'y avait pas de relance et j'ai réussi un brelan au tournant.
Au fur et à mesure que le jeu avançait et que les blinds augmentaient, les chip leaders ont commencé à intimider les plus petits stacks pour leur voler leurs jetons. Jeu normal, je suppose, mais j'ai relancé à tapis à un moment donné alors que j'étais tombé à environ 600 jetons avec . J'étais le BB et il y avait 3 appelants. Le flop est tombé . Ils ont tous vérifié. Le tour était et ils ont tous vérifié à nouveau. J'étais sûr que tout était fini pour moi. La rivière est arrivée et c'était . Encore une fois, ils ont tous vérifié. Ma main est apparue et ils ont tous été foutus. J'ai donc quadruplé mon tapis en une seule main.
De nombreuses mains se sont écoulées et j'ai réussi à voler quelques blinds. Les choses allaient un peu mieux mais le combat était difficile et les blinds étaient paralysantes à 2000/4000. Il me suffisait d’être parmi les 27 premiers pour décrocher un ticket pour le tour suivant. Il y avait 1005 joueurs venus tous du Royaume-Uni.
Il a oscillé autour de 32 joueurs pendant très longtemps et à un moment donné, j'ai chuté au 31e rang. J'étais sûr que j'allais perdre. Cependant, j'ai été traité et deux mains en cours, donc mon tapis atteignait environ 30 000, ce qui m'a amené au 18ème après avoir réussi à avoir quelques call sur une main.
J'ai posté et passé plusieurs mains, puis il était tombé à 29. Je savais que j'avais un tapis suffisant pour passer quelques tours de blinds et j'ai beaucoup hésité si j'avais une main raisonnable.
Finalement, il n'en restait plus que 27 et le jeu était terminé.
J'ai obtenu un ticket pour le prochain tour – j'espère juste que ma « chance » et ma patience continueront.

I'm worn out from playing Rush poker at Full Tilt.
I played in the 10k guaranteed earlier for a $1 buy in and with all the addons and rebuys the end result was a pot of over $15000. With just over 6000 entrants, I make that a total of $9000 in rebuys and addons after the tourney started. Thats around 18000 rebuys and addons.
I did manage to get a small payout after losing with pocket kings to pocket aces. I even hit trips on the flop and lost!
I also signed up to the 10c Rush tourney and I'm doing very nicely at the moment. It's the break at the moment and I'm grateful for it! It's a very intense game.
I did read big_deanus's Rush poker strategy and it has proved extremely useful. I've played as many hands as I can before the "add-on" break. I found the more hands that I played (or folded), the better the hands.
You do have to have balls of steel in this game as some of the play is decidedly dodgy. At one point, I decided to put the "sit out" on and this means that you stay at the table until the hand is over just to have a break from it.
The thing that I've noticed more than anything is bullying. You will be bullied from the outset and you have to stand your ground. Re-raise if you know you are ahead because they are always betting...no matter what they have. Make as many notes as you can on the players as you go along. It will definitely serve you well later on in the game.
I'm still in the game at the moment and it's the break again.
There have been 3551 rebuys and addons in total and the prize pool is $1775.50. Not bad for a 10c buy in.
I've had some great hands but the one that sticks out so far was when I had . I didn't raise as someone had already raised and I decided to just flat call and see what came on the flop.
The flop was . The other player was first to act and bet 800. I flat called. The turn was so I'm sitting very pretty with a full house. The opponent bets 800 again. This time I raised him to 1750. He called. The river was . He went all in and I called. He showed so my full house beat his flush. Very nice hand indeed.
Whilst I was in the middle of writing this, I just went all in with . The pot with all the 2k calls would have been about 12k on its own. I got one caller who showed . The flop came down and I knew in an instant that I was going out of the game. The turn and river were no use to me and I lost to trip 9s. I came 163rd out of 5000 and no payout!
I think the strategy that big_deanus wrote about is spot on and these 2 games tonight have been the best I've done. With the number of runners as well, it wasn't too bad a result. I still think I should have won with my pocket queens though with me having the better starting hand but then as they say "thats poker".

J'ai lu la stratégie de poker Rush de big_deanus et elle s'est avérée extrêmement utile. J'ai joué autant de mains que possible avant la pause « add-on ». J'ai constaté que plus je jouais (ou passais) de mains, meilleures étaient les mains.
Vous devez avoir des boules d'acier dans ce jeu car une partie du jeu est décidément douteuse. À un moment donné, j'ai décidé d'activer le "sit out", ce qui signifie que vous restez à la table jusqu'à la fin de la main, juste pour faire une pause.
Ce que j'ai remarqué plus que tout, c'est le harcèlement. Vous serez victime d’intimidation dès le début et vous devrez tenir bon. Sur-relancez si vous savez que vous êtes en avance car ils misent toujours... peu importe ce qu'ils ont. Prenez autant de notes que possible sur les joueurs au fur et à mesure. Cela vous sera certainement très utile plus tard dans le jeu.
Je suis encore dans le jeu en ce moment et c'est encore le break.

Avec le nombre de coureurs également, ce n'était pas un trop mauvais résultat. Je pense toujours que j'aurais dû gagner avec ma poche de Dames, même si j'avais la meilleure main de départ, mais comme on dit "c'est du poker".

I fancied a "double or nothing" sitngo so I joined Poker Stars (USA OK) and found a 10 seater $1 +15c game.
I've never deposited on here so this is pure free money that I've won on a couple of freerolls.
Because I'm writing this as I go, I just missed somebody being knocked out on the first hand. This is the info in the chat.

So tamgor was knocked out.
I'm playing tight as usual - my hands are dire so I'm posting and folding.
I have and I was going to flat call but somebody raised before it got to me so I folded....as did everyone else.
Two hands on and Im dealt . The hand was raised before it got to me by 80 so I just called. Flop comes down

I decided to have a quick game at Pokerstars. It is a 9 seater, $1 buyin Pot Limit Holdem.
Im posting and folding,...as usual. Two players were just knocked out to 2 pairs.
The guy that knocked the 2 people out just went all in on the next hand with a pair of 3s (his hand was ) against . He was beaten by a pair of 9s. Stupid move by a player who thinks he will get luck no matter what he plays. Ive never understood the mentality behind that thinking.
Im having my blinds stolen on a regular basis and Ive not hit a hand yet. Whilst I was writing this, another 2 players have been knocked out.
I have been dealt and Im big blind. I have been raised preflop so I re-raised. Just the one caller (the raiser). Flop comes down . He bets min and I raised all in. He shows his hand which is . The turn and river were no help to him so I doubled up.
We are down to 4 players.
I've been dealt again. I raised and was re-raised. Flop comes down and its . I bet and was re-raised again, this time all in, so I called. My opponent shows . The turn was and the river was . I really thought I was a gonner then but luck was on my side.
Whilst I was writing this another 2 players are out and its just two of us left. I'm amazed how quickly these players have been knocked out.
Im getting hammered with raises on my big blinds and huge raises when I call a hand. I really think that Im going to lose this game but Im not giving up without a fight.
As I've written this as the game has gone along, I have struggled to keep up with this write up. The last part is from memory as it was quite a fast paced game.
I keep getting unlucky on the river card. He raises each hand and if my hand isnt too bad, I call him. I managed to steal a couple of pots with some well timed bluffs. My stack is gradually getting bigger and his is getting smaller.
I have finally taken the lead and I'm dealt
and I'm big blind. He raises min raise so I called. The flop comes down . He bet so I raised, he raised me, I raised him, he raised me and this went on until we were both all in (I have a few chips returned to me). He shows his hand . The turn is so I have my flush and beat his pair. The final card was no help to either of us and so I win the game and $4.50. I just knew I would get my flush and I'm glad I went with my gut on that hand.
I never thought I was going to win this game as I was underdog at the point it was just me and the final opponent as he had double my stack after the last person was knocked out. The saying "a chip and a chair" is a good one to remember no matter how small your stack.
It was a good game and I enjoyed it - even though they all seemed to be just stealing blinds all the time.

Je suis submergé de relances sur mes big blinds et de relances énormes lorsque je suive une main. Je pense vraiment que je vais perdre ce match mais je n’abandonnerai pas sans me battre.
Au fur et à mesure que j'écrivais ceci au fur et à mesure que le jeu avançait, j'ai eu du mal à suivre cette écriture. La dernière partie est de mémoire car c'était un jeu assez rapide.
Je n'ai toujours pas de chance avec la river card. Il lève chaque main et si ma main ne va pas trop mal, je l'appelle. J'ai réussi à voler quelques pots en bluffant au bon moment. Mon tapis grossit progressivement et le sien diminue.
J'ai finalement pris les devants et je suis traité

Il a misé alors j'ai relancé, il m'a relancé, je l'ai relancé, il m'a relancé et cela a continué jusqu'à ce que nous soyons tous les deux all in (j'ai quelques jetons qui m'ont été rendus). Il montre sa main . Le tour est alors j'ai ma couleur et j'ai battu sa paire. La carte finale n'a été d'aucune aide pour nous deux et j'ai donc gagné la partie et 4,50 $. Je savais juste que j'allais avoir ma couleur et je suis content d'y être allé avec mon instinct sur cette main.
Je n'ai jamais pensé que j'allais gagner ce match car j'étais outsider au moment où il n'y avait que moi et le dernier adversaire car il avait doublé mon tapis après que la dernière personne ait été éliminée. Le dicton « un jeton et une chaise » est bon à retenir, quelle que soit la taille de votre tapis.
C'était un bon jeu et je l'ai apprécié, même s'ils semblaient tous voler des blinds tout le temps.

As its PKR's 4th birthday, I decided to have a game on there. I've gone for a 0.50c + 10c, 10 seater sitngo.
Game starts off slow (which is unusual as someone is always all-in first hand). There is one player driving me up the wall using all the emotes that she can - thank goodness for the mute button! I'm still finding my way around the new set up but I have to say that it is very user friendly.
Anyway, back to the game! A few hands in and two players are all in. They show their hands pre-flop and one of them has and the other one has . The flop comes down , turn is the and the river is giving a straight to the pocket 7s and cracking the aces big time. I definitely would not go all in with pocket 7s that early in the game - very poor play in my opinion.

Well I was just dealt . First to act raises min raise, 2 callers and then I raise to $750. One caller.

Whilst writing this up, more players are out and we are down to 4.
I'm BB and I was just dealt the worst hand in the stack . One caller and small blind calls too. The flop turn river was , , . So I hit a pair of twos on the river and the entire hand was checking all the way. Small blind bets $150 so I called and the other player folded. My opponent has nothing so I win the hand. I guess you're wondering why I called. The check, check, check all the way through and the min bet at the end told me the player didn't have anything much and was going for the "steal". I'm not always right but sometimes I am and this was one of those occasions. In any event, in my experience, it's always worth calling a min bet on the river (if you have a small pair or Ace high) when all that has gone before is checking.
We are down to 3 players and the really annoying person is still in (wearing nothing but a bikini I might add :o)

I'm the underdog here with only 3k in chips. I fought a good battle but lost it to two pairs on the final hand.
It was a good game however the quality of some play was very poor. I won $1.50 which is great and gives me a bit extra to play with.

Pour le 4ème anniversaire de PKR , j'ai décidé d'y faire un jeu. J'ai opté pour un sitngo 0,50c + 10c, 10 places.
Le jeu commence lentement (ce qui est inhabituel car quelqu'un est toujours à tapis en première main). Il y a une joueuse qui me fait grimper le mur en utilisant toutes les emotes qu'elle peut – Dieu merci pour le bouton muet ! Je suis encore en train de m'y retrouver dans la nouvelle configuration mais je dois dire qu'elle est très conviviale.

J'ai donc touché une paire de deux à la rivière et toute la main a checké jusqu'au bout. Le small blind mise 150 $, j'ai donc suivi et l'autre joueur s'est couché. Mon adversaire n'a rien donc je gagne la main. Je suppose que vous vous demandez pourquoi j'ai appelé. Le check, le check, le check tout au long et la mise minimale à la fin m'ont dit que le joueur n'avait pas grand-chose et qu'il cherchait le "vol". Je n'ai pas toujours raison, mais parfois j'ai raison et c'était l'une de ces occasions. Quoi qu'il en soit, d'après mon expérience, cela vaut toujours la peine de suivre une mise minimale sur la rivière (si vous avez une petite paire ou un As élevé) alors que tout ce qui s'est passé auparavant est de checker.
Nous ne sommes plus que 3 joueurs et la personne vraiment agaçante est toujours là (elle ne porte rien d'autre qu'un bikini, pourrais-je ajouter :o)

Je suis l'opprimé ici avec seulement 3 000 jetons. J'ai mené une bonne bataille mais je l'ai perdue face à deux paires lors de la main finale.
C'était un bon match, mais la qualité de certains jeux était très mauvaise. J'ai gagné 1,50 $, ce qui est super et me donne un petit plus pour jouer.

This game is a matrix game on Full Tilt. $1 buy in, 300 chips, 4 tables, 6 players.
I'm not going to write it as I go as this would be impossible but I will give you the basics of what happened once I'm done. If you've never played these matrix games before, they are definitely worth a look. You have 4 chances to win prizes plus there is an overall leaderboard payout too. It's quite fast and I recommend tiling the tables so you can see them all at the same time.
In the time it took me to write the above paragraph 6 people are knocked out (adding up the lost players from the 4 tables).
I've just been dealt at one table so I raised 3 x BB (remember we only have 300 chips) and I get one caller. The flop is . As I'm pot committed I have no alternative but to go all in and hope the other player doesnt have an ace. Unfortunately he did. He showed his hand (crap hand really) and the turn is and the river is 5 . So I was out and came last at that table which is not good for the overall positions as you get 1 point for every person that you stay on a table longer than. i.e. if someone is knocked out, you get 1 point.
A few hands in on another table and I'm dealt . I just went all in and got one caller. It was one of those times you say to yourself "typical". My opponent showed . The cards that fall on the table were , turn is and the river is . I was out in 5th on that table so Im not doing very well at all.
On the third table, my chips are dwindling fast as I can't get a hand. I'm down to 100 chips and I'm the BB at 50 so I have no choice but to go all in with my . I'm up against Ace rag so I have no hope at all. The cards don't help me and I'm out in 3rd.
So the last table that I'm still playing on and there are 3 of us left. I did win a couple of hands, one with a bluff (I don't talk about my bluffs as I don't want to give too much away). The 3rd player is knocked out and we are down to 2 players. At one point I did manage to take the lead with the chips (1,035) but that was short lived. My opponent kept trying it on by just betting 2 x the min after the flop so I called a couple of times and won each time. My lead was short lived though and ours was the last table to finish. Again, no hands and my chips are dwindling. I did win a few hands but the other player was getting the better hands. He kept raising my BB and I decided to give it a go with . The flop came down and my opponent went all in. I decided that I had a good chance of hitting my flush so I went for it. Unfortunately it wasn't to be! The opponent had . The turn was and the river was . So I came second and won 42c. Not a great return for my buck buy in but better than nothing.
It was a really fast game but I do enjoy these matrix games. I would suggest that non speed, non short stack buy ins to start with until you get the feel of them. Watch for players sitting out who just want to earn points by "staying in" and there will be a lot of all ins at the early stages of the game.

Je suis donc arrivé deuxième et j'ai gagné 42c. Ce n’est pas un bon retour pour mon argent, mais c’est mieux que rien.
C'était un jeu très rapide mais j'apprécie ces jeux matriciels. Je suggérerais de commencer par des buy-ins non rapides et non short stack jusqu'à ce que vous en ayez une idée. Surveillez les joueurs absents qui veulent simplement gagner des points en « restant dedans » et il y aura beaucoup de tout-en-un au début du jeu.

It's been far too long since my last game - so I've taken a little bit of time out to have a game. I'm at Full Tilt $5 + 0.50c 6 seater.
First hand and Im dealt rubbish and the player to my left goes all in - everyone else folds.
2nd hand. I folded but the player to my left raises to 150 this time. BB calls and everyone else folds. The flop is . BB checks and the original raiser bets 345 (the pot). BB calls. The turn is . BB checks again and original raiser bets 30. Now bearing in mind the pot is 1,065 and the original raiser has limped in with a 30 bet, it looks as though he may have Ace rag and is only now worrying about the pair of 5s on the board. BB raises to 210. Despite my comment above about the player worrying about the 5s on the table, he goes all in and BB immediately calls.
The cards show and the original raiser has and BB has . The river is which is no help to either of them. The original raiser is left with 210 chips (the amount he won on the first hand).
I think because of the first hand "all in" from the player on my left and then his subsequent pre-flop raise, the BB thought the raiser was a bluffer and called the raise. Had the raiser not "all in'd" on the first hand, the BB would likely have folded with the raise on the 2nd hand. Previous play directly affects "respect" at the table and BB clearly had none for the raiser (well those are my thoughts - feel free to comment on this).
Ok - I digress. A few hands on (I'm BB) and I have rubbish so I'm going to be folding - the player to my left goes all in with his remaining 180 chips and there are 2 callers.
The flop is . 1st to act checks as does the other player. The turn is . Checking all round again. River is and another round of checks.
All the hands show and the player that is all in shows , 1st to act in the betting shows and the other player shows . The all in player shares the pot with the first to act player.
The player to my left is finally knocked out a few hands on, losing to an Ace high.

A few more hands and another player is knocked out beaten by a pair of kings to ace high and then there were 2. So I'm at least in the money but my chip stack is pretty low.
I won a couple of hands but only by bluffing and stealing. The endless hands of absolute rubbish are really making it a bit of a boring game at this point. I'm dealt and decided I have to make a move and I go all in. Opponent calls and shows . The table cards are 
so I got lucky with my aces.
Many hands go by and it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other - taking it in turns to steal blinds, bluff etc.

I think I was quite unlucky that he was holding a 10 as well in that last hand. It was a quickish game but coming in second and doubling my money was a fair result.

Le jeu précédent affecte directement le "respect" à la table et BB n'en avait clairement aucun pour le relanceur (enfin, ce sont mes pensées - n'hésitez pas à commenter cela).

Je pense que j'ai été assez malchanceux car il détenait également un 10 lors de cette dernière main. C'était un jeu assez rapide, mais terminer deuxième et doubler mon argent était un résultat équitable.

I've just logged into PokerStars and although I've never deposited on there, I have some bits of cash all over the place. I've got just under $5 in US, €1.10 in Euros and £1.46 in GBP. I'm not sure how come I've got all these currencies but anyway, I decided to play a 25c tournament. There are 90 players and the top prize is $6.23 plus there are 7 places paid in all.
This is a great way to learn tournament play if you are a new player and it's very cheap so, if you do lose, it doesn't cost you the earth.
I'm writing this as it happens.
I'm just playing premium hands to start with and as I haven't had a decent hand yet, I'm just posting and folding.
I was just dealt and I'm BB - pot was raised pre-flop to 120 so I folded. Sods law the flop was . Don't you just hate it when that happens. The turn was never dealt after one player bet all in after this flop.
I've still not played a hand and we are down to 78 players and I'm currently 50th. I'm not too worried yet as the blinds are still $15/$30.
Still haven't played a hand and its on a [synchronized] break so I'm going to make me a tea! ;)

C'est une excellente façon d'apprendre à jouer en tournoi si vous êtes un nouveau joueur et c'est très bon marché donc, si vous perdez, cela ne vous coûte pas la terre.

I'm registered for a 50c + 10c Fast Fifty tourney at 365Bonitas Poker.
I know the players on here are very fishy, so I'm putting my fishy hat on too. First hand and 2 players are out with some pretty bad calls.
Next hand are my cards and Im calling for 10c. The flop is and everyone checks. Turn is and the river is . Checking all the way and my hand was pipped by
Another player was just knocked out after he went all in with against . The kicker counted as they both had a pair of Aces after the flop.
Another player was just knocked out with a substandard hand. One player (chip leader) went all in and another player called. The hands showed and the chip leader shows and the caller shows . The flop turn and river are so another player bites the dust.
We are now down to 5 players and so far this game has been more like a game of bingo than a game of poker. I hope it will improve now.
Another player is out who was just posting and folding all the way through. That's something that I will never understand. Why pay good money for a game and then sit out all the way through? It makes no sense to me.

This was an awful game which I didn't enjoy at all despite me doubling my stake. The good thing about this site is that they do have regular freerolls, they have free sitngo's where you can win $1 real money and there is always a game available.

Un autre joueur vient d'être éliminé avec une main de mauvaise qualité. Un joueur (chip leader) a fait tapis et un autre joueur a suivi. Les mains sont montrées et le chip leader montre et l'appelant montre . Le turn et la rivière du flop sont alors un autre joueur mord la poussière.
Nous n'en sommes plus qu'à 5 joueurs et jusqu'à présent, ce jeu ressemble plus à une partie de bingo qu'à une partie de poker. J'espère que ça va s'améliorer maintenant.
Un autre joueur est sorti alors qu'il postait et se couchait jusqu'au bout. C'est quelque chose que je ne comprendrai jamais. Pourquoi payer beaucoup d’argent pour un jeu et ensuite ne rien faire ? Ça n'a aucun sens.

C'était un jeu horrible que je n'ai pas du tout apprécié malgré le fait que j'ai doublé ma mise. La bonne chose à propos de ce site est qu'ils proposent des freerolls réguliers, des sitngo gratuits où vous pouvez gagner 1 $ d'argent réel et il y a toujours un jeu disponible.

Just my lowly opinion....but I think the lower the stakes the more you see this. I saw it so much when I played poker online that I quit playing. You wouldn't see this in high stakes games or tournaments.

Ce n'est que mon humble avis... mais je pense que plus les enjeux sont faibles, plus vous voyez cela. Je l'ai tellement vu lorsque je jouais au poker en ligne que j'ai arrêté de jouer. Vous ne verriez pas cela dans des jeux ou des tournois à enjeux élevés.

I read your blog on suited-connectors, I am one of the few players who really hates getting AA. I have had them cracked so many times by 5-6, 4-3,8-9, suited, that I usually go all-in , just to save myself the heartache.

I've just had a game on Full Tilt.
It was a pretty tough game and there were some "good" players. I put that in inverted commas because they were playing poker by the book. Using position to raise, bullying the smaller stacks and so on, so it made it an interesting game.
I should add that I played a few matrix games where you start with 300 chips and I've never been so unlucky at these tables. Every time I had a hand, I was rivered. For example I had trip queens and was rivered by a fishy flush. Another hand I had top 2 pair which is a pretty good hand and was beaten by someone holding bottom pair who hit trips on the river. What can you do when your "luck" is out.
Anyway, onto this game which was a simple $1, 9-seater, non-turbo NL sitngo. 134 hands from start to finish so I won't be covering every hand, just the best bits.
13 hands in, after much blind stealing by the other players, I'm dealt . Blinds are 20/40 and I'm UTG. I raised to 200 and everyone folded.
Two hands down the line, I'm SB. One player raises to 120 and there are 3 callers. I folded my .
The flop comes down . I would have had a straight if I'd called. The betting resumes and the original raiser bets 360 and there is one caller. The turn is and the original raiser puts the opponent all in who swiftly calls. The original raiser has and unbelievably, the caller has . He did have a flush and straight draw giving him 12 outs but it's a longshot. The river is and one player is out.
I'm BB after lots of folding by me and I've got . I'm raised to 125, everyone else folds and I call. This player is the one who just knocked out the player in the hand above.
The flop is and I bet the pot which is 275. The original raiser goes all in which means I will be all in if I call. The worst he can have for me is the Ace with a Jack or Ace with a King so I decide to call. His hand is revealed and he has . No other cards assist us and we share the pot.
A few hands in another player is out losing to a slow played pocket .
Many hands on and I lose half my stack chasing a straight which never arrived. I could kick myself when I do that - I know I shouldn't do it but I still do. I have to give myself a bit of a telling off at this point for trying to get a hand when my cards are rubbish. So I'm now short stack and in for a bit of bullying.
We are now 44 hands into the game and I'm dealt and I'm Big Blind so this should be interesting. Everyone folds right up to the dealer who promptly goes all in. He is in a perfect position to raise me and has taken a chance that I don't have a hand worthy of an all in bet. So I call him. His cards are revealed and he has . The flop is , the turn is and the river is . I doubled up and I'm back in the game.
A few hands on and I'm dealt - very pretty. I'm 2 places behind the dealer and I just flat call. Everyone folds up to SB who raises min raise to 160. I flat call and BB folds. The flop is . Opponent bets 80 I raise to 640 (pot plus his bet) and he raises me to 1200. So I don't hesitate to re-raise all in. He shows his hand which is so he's chasing the straight. The turn is and the river is so I've again doubled up.

The very next hand and I'm SB and the raiser in the first hand is up to his tricks again. He is UTG and raises to 300 (blinds are 60/120). One player calls, I fold and the BB re-raises all in for 741. The original raiser also re-raises all in for 2,622 and the other player calls (all in).

I was gutted over that last hand as I was well in the lead before the river. Such is life. I did win a prize so I should be happy.

25c 45 seater sitngo tournament on Poker Stars
I'm not going to give a blow by blow account because it would take forever but I will mention some highlights. This game ran for 2 hours 27 minutes and to say I was ready for my bed at the end of it was an understatement. It finished at 2.31 am and of course I wanted to write it up so here goes.
I managed to double up my chips quite early when I had and managed to hit trips on the flop so I was off to a flying start and in the top 10 straight away.
There was the usual run of bad play that you generally find at the beginning of the tournament - I even put a note on one of the players who called an all in bet of 795 with and of course, he lost that hand. Little did I realise the significance of that note later on in the game.
I did my usual posting and folding but I have to say, I had a good feeling about this game. I guess I was in the right frame of mind. Anyway back to the game.
I had pocket on one hand where I was the dealer and decided not to raise. SB called and BB checked. The flop came down and the BB just threw all his chips in the pot so I called. SB folded. He revealed his hand which was . Fortunately my 7s held and he was out and I won the pot. I know it was a risky call - he could have had a straight.
I folded a lot of hands, played a few hands and won a few hands. I was still in the top 10; in fact I was 6th.
Im BB and Im dealt - blinds are $100/$200 and the player UTG goes all in for $1553 pre-flop. I decided to call. He showed his hand .

Quite a few hands on and the tables are rebalanced and I didn't realise it at the time but it was the final table. We were down to 10 players and who should appear but the guy who I put the note on earlier. He was chip leader and I was sixth.
I watched his play for a while - he liked to steal a lot of blinds and more often than not, raised with pure rubbish.
Blinds are $200/$400 and I'm BB. The guy with the note on him is two seats back from me so he is the dealer. I'm dealt and UTG calls as does the noted player. The flop comes down . Everyone checks. Noted player bets 400 when comes on the turn. I called and UTG folds. The river is and the noted player bets 400 again. I flat called. He shows his cards which are and I win the hand. Im so glad I put my note on this player as I would definitely have folded in normal circumstances.
Three players go out and we are down to 7 of us. All places are now paying places so Im expecting to see play loosen up a little now.
During the past good few hands, the noted player is nicking a heck of a lot of the blinds and I don't "believe" his bets at all which can be quite dangerous as it means I will likely be calling his raises where I would normally fold.
Here is a classic example of a hand that could have gone so horribly wrong.
Im dealt and Im BB and noted player is dealer. Blinds are 400/800 so Im not about to let my blinds go without a bit of a fight. Everyone folds up to noted player and he raises to 3,600. For the kind of hands I had seen him play I thought it was worth a call. The flop came down . He checked and I checked. I actually wondered if my 6s put me ahead. Anyway the river came down . I bet 2,400 and he raised me to 4,800. So I re-raised him to 7,200 at which point he promptly threw all 38k of his chips in the middle and I immediately called. His hand showed which was .
So he had a great hand pre-flop and due to his dire play in umpteen previous hands, meant that I called where normally I would have folded. Theres a lot of food for thought here. On one hand, the guy is the chip leader because he knows how to steal blinds and raise other players off of hands but then looking at the other side of the coin, because of his play, hands that would normally be folded were called which cost him very dearly...as in this case.
The final card comes down which is the which is no help to either of us and I win a very healthy pot of 23k.
We are down to 5 players and this guy really wants to share his wealth with the other players at the table by making ridiculous calls and bets. I have to add that players like this make the game really interesting and a bit of a battle which I truly enjoy.
I wont go into detail about all the hands so much here because this game just went on and on and on. The remaining players seem to be catching on about this guys play and are re-raising his raises, calling his raises and so on. This noted player finally folds a few hands.
Now down to 3 players and the other player bets all in for 10k with and the noted player calls him with . The cards on the table are , turn is and the river is so the noted player gets lucky and we are now down to 2 players. Me and the noted player.
The chips are going back and forth between us and we seem to be taking turns in being the chip leader.
At one point I had him down to 4k and this guy just got lucky hand after hand after hand. Here are some of the hands he won with:

On one hand I had and I went all in hoping just to steal the blinds but he called. He showed but I hit an ace on the turn and managed to double up.
I was now the chip leader and I'm dealt . The blinds are 1k/2k and I raised to 10k pre flop. He bet all in for 22k and I called straight away. He revealed his cards which were . The flop came down , the turn was and the river was . I had won the game, $3.52 for my 25c stake and beat 44 other players.
But I have to say, best of all I beat that guy who called an all in with right at the beginning of the game.
I can't stress the importance of putting notes on players enough. Not only do they serve you in the game you are in, but should you meet them again in another game, the notes will certainly assist you.
I know I was quite lucky on a few occasions in this game and there were a few hands that I should never have called but the poor play or should that read "good play?" of other players can sway your thinking in certain situations.
All in all, poker is a very complex game when you get down to the nitty gritty but I still love it!

Ce jeu a duré 2 heures 27 minutes et dire que j'étais prêt à me coucher à la fin était un euphémisme. Il s'est terminé à 2h31 du matin et bien sûr, je voulais l'écrire, alors voilà.
J'ai réussi à doubler mes jetons assez tôt alors que j'avais et j'ai réussi à faire un brelan au flop, ce qui m'a permis de prendre un bon départ et d'entrer immédiatement dans le top 10.
Il y a eu la série habituelle de mauvais jeux que l'on trouve généralement au début du tournoi - j'ai même mis une note sur l'un des joueurs qui a suivi un all in bet de 795 avec et bien sûr, il a perdu cette main. Je n'avais pas réalisé l'importance de cette note plus tard dans le jeu.
J'ai fait mon placement et mon pliage habituels mais je dois dire que j'ai eu un bon pressentiment sur ce jeu. Je suppose que j'étais dans le bon état d'esprit. Quoi qu'il en soit, revenons au jeu.

Trois joueurs sortent et nous n'en sommes plus qu'à 7. Tous les endroits sont désormais payants, donc je m'attends à voir le jeu se détendre un peu maintenant.
Au cours des dernières bonnes mains, le joueur remarqué a encaissé un très grand nombre de blinds et je ne « crois » pas du tout ses mises, ce qui peut être assez dangereux car cela signifie que je suivrai probablement ses relances là où je le ferais. normalement plier.

Tout le monde se couche jusqu'au joueur remarquable qui relance à 3.600. Pour le genre de mains que je l'avais vu jouer, j'ai pensé que cela valait la peine de suivre. Le flop est tombé . Il a vérifié et j'ai vérifié. En fait, je me demandais si mes 6 me mettaient en avant. Quoi qu'il en soit, la rivière est descendue . J'ai misé 2 400 et il m'a relancé à 4 800. Je l'ai donc sur-relancé à 7.200, à ce moment-là, il a immédiatement lancé ses 38k de jetons au milieu et j'ai immédiatement suivi. Sa main montrait lequel était .
Il avait donc une excellente main pré-flop et, en raison de son jeu désastreux lors de nombreuses mains précédentes, cela signifiait que j'ai suivi là où normalement j'aurais dû me coucher. Il y a ici beaucoup de matière à réflexion. D'un côté, le gars est le chip leader parce qu'il sait comment voler les blinds et relancer les autres joueurs, mais de l'autre côté de la médaille, à cause de son jeu, des mains qui seraient normalement couchées ont été suivies, ce qui a coûté cher. lui très cher... comme dans ce cas.
La dernière carte tombe, c'est la ce qui n'aide aucun de nous et je gagne un pot très sain de 23k.
Nous n'en sommes plus qu'à 5 joueurs et ce type veut vraiment partager sa richesse avec les autres joueurs à la table en faisant des call et des mises ridicules. Je dois ajouter que des joueurs comme celui-ci rendent le jeu vraiment intéressant et un peu une bataille que j'apprécie vraiment.
Je n'entrerai pas dans les détails de toutes les mains ici parce que ce jeu a continué encore et encore. Les joueurs restants semblent comprendre le jeu de ce type et sur-relancent ses relances, suivent ses relances, etc. Ce joueur remarqué couche finalement quelques mains.
Il ne reste plus que 3 joueurs et l'autre joueur mise all-in pour 10 000 avec et le joueur noté l'appelle avec . Les cartes sur la table sont , c'est le tour et la rivière est donc le joueur noté a de la chance et nous en sommes maintenant à 2 joueurs. Moi et le joueur remarqué.
Les jetons vont et viennent entre nous et nous semblons être à tour de rôle le chip leader.
À un moment donné, je l'ai réduit à 4k et ce type a eu de la chance main après main. Voici quelques-unes des mains avec lesquelles il a gagné :

D'une part j'avais et j'ai fait tapis dans l'espoir de voler les blinds mais il a suivi. Il a montré mais j'ai touché un as au tournant et j'ai réussi à doubler.
J'étais maintenant le chip leader et je suis distribué . Les blinds sont de 1k/2k et j'ai relancé à 10k pré-flop. Il a misé à tapis pour 22k et j'ai immédiatement suivi. Il a révélé ses cartes qui étaient . Le flop est tombé , le tour était et la rivière était . J'avais gagné la partie, 3,52 $ pour ma mise de 25c et battu 44 autres joueurs.
Mais je dois dire que le meilleur dans tout, c'est que j'ai battu ce gars qui a suivi à tapis avec dès le début du jeu.
Je ne saurais trop insister sur l’importance de mettre des notes sur les joueurs. Non seulement ils vous servent dans le jeu dans lequel vous vous trouvez, mais si vous les rencontrez à nouveau dans un autre jeu, les notes vous aideront certainement.
Je sais que j'ai eu beaucoup de chance à plusieurs reprises dans ce jeu et il y a eu quelques mains que je n'aurais jamais dû suivre, mais le mauvais jeu ou cela devrait-il indiquer « bon jeu ? » Les autres joueurs peuvent influencer votre réflexion dans certaines situations.
Dans l’ensemble, le poker est un jeu très complexe quand on va dans le vif du sujet mais je l’aime toujours autant !

$5 sitngo 6 seater on Full Tilt was my game choice this time. I fancied upping the stakes slightly to see how I did.
152 hands in this game so I won't be showing every hand or it will take me all day to write it.
Game started quite slow - no all ins on the first round which is unusual. It didn't take too long to find out that at least one player was a bit of a bluffer and he managed to call almost every hand. The problem was that he kept getting lucky with cards like and .
I'm posting and folding while all these bad hands are going on. This bluffer did get unlucky in one hand and lost most of his chips.
Next hand and I'm SB and I'm dealt and the bluffer who is Dealer bets all in so I called for 455 chips. Everyone else folded. His cards are revealed and he has The flop comes down , the turn is and the river is . He is out and we are down to 5 players.
There was a little bit of banter during the game and one UK player commented to an Australian player about how well the Aussies did in the Ashes (of course being sarcastic). He responded by saying he doesn't really follow it but he does like swimming. Now this Aussie player doesn't have too many chips and within a few seconds the UK player came back and said "You're drowning here". The Aussie player wasn't offended in any way and just came back with "Genius response". The Australian player was quite comical and this made it a really pleasant game.
Ok so back to the game. Loads of posting and folding and of course blind stealing. One player went all in and was called by the chip leader. The all in player shows and BB swiftly calls and shows . The flop came down , the turn was and the river was so one more player was out and we were down to 4.
The very next hand, I've folded and the Australian and the guy from the UK have both checked after the flop which was . The turn comes and it's and the Australian decides to go all in and his opponent promptly calls. Their hands are revealed and the Australian has and the opponent (UK guy) has . The river was and so the Australian was out and we were down to 3.
There is a Dutch player, the UK player and myself left and The Dutch player had 5300 chips, I have 2000 and the UK player has 1500 (rough figures).and 53 hands have passed.
Many hands later and I'm dealt . The chip leader raises (min raise to 200) so I re-reraised to 800. He flat called my raise. The flop comes down so I just bet all in and he called. His cards are revealed and he has . The turn was and the river was so I doubled up and was now the chip leader.
Many hands go by and it was basically posting and folding with a very small amount of blind stealing in between.
I'm dealer and fold and the two other players just call to the blind and check. The flop comes down . Both players check. The turn comes . Again they both check. The river comes on the table and its . The UK pulls his favourite trick and goes all in and the Dutch player quickly calls. The UK guy shows so he has a straight and the Dutch player shows so he has the flush and we are now down to two players.
109 hands have now passed, two players left and I'm definitely in the money.
We are both posting and folds - the cards are dire. I then hit so I raised 3 x BB to 480 and my opponent goes all in for $6k! So I decided to call. Hmm - wasn't sure if it was a right decision but if I can't call with that hand, what am I going to call with? Anyway, he shows . The flop comes down , the turn was and the river was so I'd (luckily) managed to double up. Any pair is a good hand when playing heads up and so is an Ace with a great kicker.
We are both posting and folding, stealing where possible and the chips remain pretty much the same. These last few hands, my opponent was stealing a lot of my BB and I decided it was time to fight back. So I'm BB and I have which isn't a great hand but heads up, it's certainly not a bad hand. The Dutch player raised min raise so I called. The flop came down so I bet 800 to see if I could throw him off the hand. He re-raised all in!
Now this was a predicament. I needed one card for a flush and I had a 5 to 1 chance of hitting it. I still would have sufficient chips to fight back if I lost so I decided (right or wrong) to call. His cards were shown and he had and . The turn was so now I had a flush draw and a straight draw giving me 17 outs. I now had a 3 to 1 chance of hitting either the flush or the straight. The river was so I hit my flush and won the game.
My prize was $19.50 and I have to say, it was a good game and I really did get lucky on that last hand. I guess sometimes you just have to take a risk.

Je poste et je me couche pendant que toutes ces mauvaises mains continuent. Ce bluffeur n'a pas eu de chance dans une main et a perdu la plupart de ses jetons.
La prochaine main et je suis SB et je suis distribué et le bluffeur qui est le croupier mise à tapis, alors j'ai suivi pour 455 jetons. Tous les autres se sont couchés. Ses cartes sont révélées et il a Le flop tombe , c'est le tour et la rivière est . Il est absent et il ne reste plus que 5 joueurs.
Il y a eu quelques plaisanteries pendant le match et un joueur britannique a commenté à un joueur australien les performances des Australiens dans les Ashes (bien sûr en étant sarcastique). Le flop tombe , le tour était et la rivière était donc j'avais (heureusement) réussi à doubler. N'importe quelle paire constitue une bonne main en heads-up, tout comme un as avec un excellent kicker.
Nous postons et nous couchons, volons autant que possible et les jetons restent à peu près les mêmes. Ces dernières mains, mon adversaire volait une grande partie de mon BB et j'ai décidé qu'il était temps de riposter. Donc je suis BB et j'ai ce qui n'est pas une bonne main mais en heads-up, ce n'est certainement pas une mauvaise main. Le joueur néerlandais a relancé au minimum, alors j'ai suivi. Le flop est tombé alors j'ai misé 800 pour voir si je pouvais le jeter hors de la main. Il a sur-relancé à tapis !
Maintenant, c'était une situation difficile. J'avais besoin d'une carte pour une couleur et j'avais une chance de 5 contre 1 de la toucher. J'aurais encore suffisamment de jetons pour riposter si je perdais, alors j'ai décidé (à tort ou à raison) de suivre. Ses cartes furent montrées et il et . Le tour était alors maintenant, j'avais un tirage couleur et un tirage quinte me donnant 17 outs. J'avais maintenant une chance de 3 contre 1 de toucher soit la couleur, soit la quinte. La rivière était alors j'ai touché ma couleur et j'ai gagné la partie.
Mon prix était de 19,50 $ et je dois dire que c'était un bon jeu et que j'ai vraiment eu de la chance lors de cette dernière main. Je suppose que parfois il faut juste prendre un risque.

Your playing style is very similar to mine. There is not much i would of done differently. The only hand i would of done differently is raised on was your K 10. That happens to be one of my fav hands.
You didn't get crazy on the pp 4's & 6's. Those small pp's can really kill ya that's for sure. It's a shame during the final 2 that he folded on your AJ.That had to be your best hand! Don't ya just hate when that happens? It's like they know!

It is very strange for me to see another player play other than the pro's on T.V. Your style of play is very different than mine. Obviously it works, played smart and it pays. I personally have an unorthodox style of play, so am not the ideal person to critique.
What I can say is please, please, put some sort of sound to go with your videos in the future. Does not matter if it is the game sound, commentary, or even music. I went frigging nuts trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer that i could not hear the sound. And it was a few minutes before it dawned on me that there maybe was not any sound to be heard.
Very cool you were able to create a video of you're poker play like that. Just make sure too many videos of you're poker play don't become available to the competition. ;)
To me finishing 1st place is all about status. Finishing in the money is winning and that's what is most important. Congrats on the win.
C'est très étrange pour moi de voir un autre joueur jouer autre que les pros à la télé. Votre style de jeu est très différent du mien. Évidemment, ça marche, c'est joué intelligemment et ça rapporte. Personnellement, j’ai un style de jeu peu orthodoxe, je ne suis donc pas la personne idéale pour critiquer.
Ce que je peux dire, c'est s'il vous plaît, s'il vous plaît, mettez une sorte de son pour accompagner vos vidéos à l'avenir. Peu importe qu'il s'agisse du son du jeu, des commentaires ou même de la musique. Je suis devenu fou en essayant de comprendre ce qui n'allait pas avec mon ordinateur et je n'entendais pas le son. Et il m’a fallu quelques minutes avant de réaliser qu’il n’y avait peut-être aucun son à entendre.
C'est très cool que vous ayez pu créer une vidéo de votre partie de poker comme celle-là. Assurez-vous simplement que trop de vidéos de votre partie de poker ne soient pas disponibles pour la compétition. ;)
Pour moi, terminer 1ère est une question de statut. Finir dans l'argent, c'est gagner et c'est ce qui est le plus important. Félicitations pour la victoire.

I know it sound all easy when i am typing it, but i would not be surprised to hear you've already spent well over six ours working out the video deal. I do not expect you to change it just because of my thoughts and ideas. Hell, if i took my own advise i would be a totally different person. LMAO.
I am very impressed you've done what you have with the video deal. My lazy ass was just going to take screen shots of my play, but got so caught up in the description of play i forgot about them.

A bit of an update on the "audio" front.
What a disaster that was. I set it up for the speakers and then the entire thing wouldn't work. So I tried it with the microphone - a little bit of a commentary. That didn't work and it seems I was talking to myself!
End result: NO sound at all, software wouldn't work.
I am going to try again - I'll report back.

Quel désastre ce fut. Je l'ai configuré pour les haut-parleurs et tout cela ne fonctionnait pas. J'ai donc essayé avec le microphone - un petit commentaire. Cela n'a pas fonctionné et il semble que je parlais tout seul !
Résultat final : AUCUN son du tout, le logiciel ne fonctionnerait pas.
Je vais réessayer - je ferai rapport.
