So I made the time to go play a game of poker. I decided to try out True Poker which is USA friendly and as they recently had an upgrade, I thought it would be a great time to try it out.
I found a $5 sitngo with 7 players registered and decided to join that one. After waiting a few moments, the table was full and the game started.
I didn't get a decent hand for ages and a couple of players were knocked out, one going all in with 
and losing to 
which hit trips on the flop and the other one all in with another ace rag to a pocket pair of 
I was watching the players very closely and there was a lot of "get you to fold" pre-flop play going on. Bearing in mind this site doesn't have the usual RNG, I didn't see many hands with "any two of the same suit will do" kind of play which is quite refreshing I have to say.
Quite a few hands in, I'm dealt 
and the player who is small blind, only has 117.50 chips left. I decided to flat call and fold if it was raised. Nobody raised and I managed to see the flop which was 
. Seeing the two spades on the flop plus the fact that there were 3 players in all in the hand (not including me), I bet 120 and everyone folded except SB and he decided to call all in.
He showed his hand which was 
and he was gone as nothing helped him on the turn which was 
and the river which was 
.
I mentioned earlier that I was watching the play very closely and I called one hand with a mediocre 
. I was raised and decided to call. The flop came down 
and whilst I'd not hit anything, I decided to bluff. I bet 3 x BB which was 360 and he folded.
After a long session of me folding and not getting too many hands, another player bit the dust which left 3 of us. I actually was knocked out with

but I did take 3rd position which paid $9 so I won $4 on my investment which is definitely a result.
I quite like this site and with the new upgrade, I can only hope that the place will "busy up". My only other complaint is that they don't have cheap sitngo's (cheapest is $3) but I guess that will come with time as the site does get busier.

J'observais les joueurs de très près et il y avait beaucoup de jeux pré-flop pour "vous amener à vous coucher". En gardant à l'esprit que ce site n'a pas le RNG habituel, je n'ai pas vu beaucoup de mains avec un type de jeu "deux de la même couleur feront l'affaire", ce qui est assez rafraîchissant, je dois dire.
Pas mal de mains, je suis distribué et le joueur qui est en petite blind n'a plus que 117,50 jetons. J'ai décidé de suivre et de me coucher s'il était relancé. Après une longue séance au cours de laquelle je me suis couché sans avoir trop de mains, un autre joueur a mordu la poussière, ce qui nous a laissé trois d'entre nous. En fait, j'ai été assommé avec contre mais j'ai pris la 3ème position qui a payé 9$ donc j'ai gagné 4$ sur mon investissement, ce qui est définitivement un résultat.
J'aime bien ce site et avec la nouvelle mise à jour, je ne peux qu'espérer que l'endroit sera "occupé". Mon seul autre reproche est qu'ils n'ont pas de sitngo bon marché (le moins cher est de 3 $), mais je suppose que cela viendra avec le temps, car le site deviendra de plus en plus fréquenté.

I joined a $1.00 tourney on PKR (6 seater).
Lots of posting and folding (as usual). I did get 
so I flat called. There were 4 players in the hand. The flop came down 
so trips for me. I was last to act and one player bet 50, the other players flat called. I was worried about someone getting the flush so I raised to 225 and two players folded and one called. The turn was 
so I just went all in (the other player checked). The other player folded and I won the pot.
Moving forward - folding as usual - I did get pocket 
but I raised so huge, they all folded.
I'm writing this as I go and I just went back to the game and saw that a 2nd person has been knocked out. They lost to a pair of Aces with 
. The first person to go out went all in with and lost to .
Another player has just been knocked out losing to Aces so there are 3 of us left and only 2 places pay.
Not playing many hands and I'm posting and folding again. I'm dealt 
and Im SB. I just flat called and BB checks. Flop comes down 
so I bet all in and the opponent calls. The opponent shows his hand

so Im out losing to trips.
It was a fairly quick game and I was definitely unlucky losing with two pairs on the flop to trips on the turn. Such is poker!

Beaucoup d'affichage et de pliage (comme d'habitude). j'ai eu alors j'ai appelé. Il y avait 4 joueurs dans la main. Le flop est tombé donc des voyages pour moi. J'ai été le dernier à agir et un joueur a misé 50, les autres joueurs ont suivi. J'avais peur que quelqu'un obtienne la couleur, alors j'ai relancé à 225 et deux joueurs se sont couchés et un a suivi. Le tour était alors j'ai fait tapis (l'autre joueur a checké). L'autre joueur s'est couché et j'ai gagné le pot.
En avançant - en pliant comme d'habitude - j'ai eu une poche mais j'ai relancé tellement gros qu'ils se sont tous couchés.
J'écris ceci au fur et à mesure et je suis juste revenu au jeu et j'ai vu qu'une 2ème personne avait été éliminée. Ils ont perdu contre une paire d'As avec . La première personne à sortir a fait tapis avec et perdu contre .
Un autre joueur vient d'être éliminé en perdant face aux As, nous sommes donc 3 et seulement 2 places sont payantes.
Je n'ai pas joué beaucoup de mains et je poste et je me couche à nouveau. je suis traité et je suis SB. Je viens de suivre et de checker BB. Le flop tombe alors je mise all-in et l'adversaire suit. L'adversaire montre sa main . Le tour est et la rivière est donc je perds à cause des voyages.
C'était une partie assez rapide et je n'ai vraiment pas eu de chance de perdre avec deux paires au flop et un brelan au tournant. C'est ça le poker !

I decided to splash out on a $10 + 70c 10 seater double up sitngo on AdamevePoker. Top 5 players will double their bankroll.
To start with, as usual, I'm just posting and folding and watching the play. I notice one player is raising most people's big blinds and most are folding to the raise too.
One player was knocked out when his straight was beaten by a full house so we are down to 9 and I've yet to play a hand!
A few hands in and I'm dealt . I raised to 325 in fear of someone holding ace rag but everyone folded. The blinds were 25/50.
Another player bites the dust when he is beaten by a full house to his straight.
Everyone is fairly tight except for that one player who raises the BBs almost every hand. I'm just biding my time with this one.
Another player knocked out with against . Neither hit anything and the queen counted.
Two more players to go for me to double my stake. I need a decent hand now.
Another player was knocked out when his failed against . I've noticed this hand before on this site and I recommend care when you get suited or not. The flop comes down with an 8 as the 3rd card and you've hit Kings or Aces but get beaten by the trips. I have seen this same hand a couple of times now so beware! Down to 6 players and my chips are low.
The very next hand I get and someone raises all in and another calls as do I. If the other caller loses and I win, Im going to double up. I show my Qeens and the other two players have 
and 
. My queens hold and the player that called the all in bet is knocked out and I managed to double up my money as did the remaining 4 players. So I won $20 for a $10.70 outlay. A very nice profit.
In this game I only played a couple of hands and I highly recommend playing premium hands only for these type of tournaments. Try not to play turbo double up tourneys as this strategy will not work as there probably wouldn't be sufficient time (chip wise) to get those premium hands.
A short and great game with a nice profit. Definitely my cup of tea!

Le flop tombe avec un 8 comme 3ème carte et vous avez touché des Rois ou des As mais vous êtes battu par les brelans. J'ai vu cette même main plusieurs fois maintenant, alors méfiez-vous ! Il ne reste plus que 6 joueurs et mes jetons sont faibles.
La prochaine main que j'obtiens et quelqu'un relance all-in et un autre suit, tout comme moi. Si l'autre appelant perd et que je gagne, je vais doubler. Je montre mes Qeens et les deux autres joueurs ont et . Mes dames tiennent et le joueur qui a suivi le all in bet est éliminé et j'ai réussi à doubler mon argent tout comme les 4 joueurs restants. J'ai donc gagné 20 $ pour une dépense de 10,70 $. Un très beau bénéfice.
Dans ce jeu, je n'ai joué que quelques mains et je recommande fortement de jouer des mains premium uniquement pour ce type de tournois. Essayez de ne pas jouer aux tournois turbo double up car cette stratégie ne fonctionnera pas car il n'y aurait probablement pas suffisamment de temps (en termes de jetons) pour obtenir ces mains premium.
Un jeu court et génial avec un joli bénéfice. Certainement ma tasse de thé !

I like these tournys, but these days they are tough. I swear I've never seen such play for $1 in the $1 double ups. I remember the good old days when half the people in them were donks trying to take first place like it actually mattered.
The last $1 double up I played, we had only knocked out 1 player in 45 minutes of play. Talk about grinding!
J'aime ces tournys, mais ces jours-ci, ils sont durs. Je jure que je n'ai jamais vu un tel jeu pour 1 $ dans les double-ups à 1 $. Je me souviens du bon vieux temps où la moitié des gens étaient des idiots qui essayaient de prendre la première place comme si cela comptait vraiment.
Lors du dernier double up à 1$ que j'ai joué, nous n'avions éliminé qu'un seul joueur en 45 minutes de jeu. Parlez de broyage !

You're right orren - they can take a long time to even get near to the paying positions. I think the attitude now is if they just post and fold, they may be able to double up without taking any risks.

The sitting out days have passed for this type of tourny. Most people have figured out they need to play nothing other than premium hands and do just that.
When the # of players in each hand is normally no more than 3. There is a lot more hands seen in a shorter amount of time compared to other tournaments. I have been "Blinded out" in a relatively short amount of time when something came up taking me away from game shortly after it began. I was the 2nd person knocked out too!
Besides few things are more irritating at the table, than getting knocked out before the players sitting out.
OH THAT REMINDS ME... (been holding onto this 1 for a while) Check out this amazing luck of a player sitting out.

Lorsque le nombre de joueurs dans chaque main n'est normalement pas supérieur à 3. Il y a beaucoup plus de mains vues dans un laps de temps plus court que dans les autres tournois. J'ai été "aveuglé" dans un laps de temps relativement court lorsque quelque chose s'est produit m'éloignant du jeu peu de temps après son début. J'étais aussi la 2ème personne KO !
En outre, peu de choses sont plus irritantes à la table que de se faire éliminer avant que les joueurs ne s'assoient.
OH ÇA ME RAPPELLE... (je garde ce 1 depuis un moment) Regardez cette incroyable chance d'un joueur assis.

So. In one of the larger low stakes tournaments (kicking myself for not having that info) that plays early evening on the Merge network. Likely the dollar dazzler ($1 R&A).
Its late in the tournament, after the first break. Rebuy and Add on period is already done. I notice a player sitting out. The Big Blind comes around and puts him all in and of course he wins. Now at this point the Antes are up to 60. Strangely enough he has a big enough stack just to make it again to the Big Blind, folding the entire way.
Once again Big blind puts him All In and he wins. Then exactly same 1 more time with Big Blind putting him all in.
I did not see him play a single hand in 3 rotations of the button. Then our table was broken up. I am not sure he ever actually played a hand in the tournament. He missed finishing in the money by only 2 places. And this was a tournament of like 300+ players and only top 30 payed.

Je ne l'ai pas vu jouer une seule main en 3 rotations de bouton. Ensuite, notre table a été brisée. Je ne suis pas sûr qu'il ait jamais joué une main dans le tournoi. Il n'a raté la place dans l'argent que de 2 places. Et c’était un tournoi rassemblant plus de 300 joueurs et seulement les 30 premiers payés.

It's incredible Orren. I've seen this so many times, particularly on PKR. It is exceptionally frustrating if you get knocked before the sitouts.
Thanks for posting these. I wonder if the guy (or gal) knew how close they were to cashing in.

In the first hand I was the big blind and it put me all in. But the other 2 times I choose which hands to play.

The better way to go, is after big wins that put you decently above the average chip stack. Sit out. Until your stack starts to get close the the Avg. or outside the bubble.
It can be a very effective tactic. I've usually only done this when I had no choice. Otherwise I always see and hand that I "have to play" and most of the time start tanking.
Damn my issues with self discipline!

As is the norm at this site, one player has bet all in on the first hand and steals the blinds. In the past, I've noticed that players who go all in on the first hand, tend to do well so this should be interesting to see how lucky this player gets.

One player is out after going all in with pocket 3s (he was short stacked).
Incidentally, I should mention that the guy that went all in on the first hand who I beat with my pocket kings, had 419 chips left after that hand. He is now showing a chip balance of 1669. I missed the hand that he won on to gain those chips back.
Pocket kings help to knock another player out. Two more players (including the guy that went all in on the first hand) have been knocked out in the very next hand losing to an impressive trip Jacks. We are down to 6 players.

It's dragging a bit at the moment as I can't seem to get a hand. One player opposite me keeps raising my BB. I'm going to have to sort him out!
A few hands on and I'm dealt 
. I'm BB and the guy opposite raises my BB again. Without hesitation, I've called him. The flop comes down and again, without hesitation I just bet the pot and the opponent folded. I guessed he was pulling a fast one again.
Another player is out losing to King high! I couldn't help but laugh as I wrote that.
My chips are dwindling and I can't seem to get a hand. The blind levels are 150/300.
Finally another player is out and we are in the money with 3 of us left.
I was just dealt and was raised on my BB again. I decided to call and take a chance. The flop was 
so I have 2 pairs. My opponent bets all in and I quickly called. He shows 
and nothing helps him (or me) any further and I win the hand and double up.
The play was so intense, I didn't get a chance to write out what the 3rd player went out with.

The hands are pretty even and the chips are fairly static. He raises my big blind and I raise his big blind. This goes on for quite a few hands and after many hands where I didn't get anything and I was unable to raise, I decided to try a bit of a bluff. Bad move!

Comme c'est la norme sur ce site, un joueur a misé all-in dès la première main et vole les blinds. Dans le passé, j'ai remarqué que les joueurs qui faisaient tapis dès la première main avaient tendance à bien réussir, cela devrait donc être intéressant de voir à quel point ce joueur a de la chance.
C'est la seconde main et je suis distribué . Les blinds sont à 10/20 et je suis sous le feu donc j'ai misé 200 pour arrêter le poisson et les chiffons d'As. Le gars qui a fait tapis m'appelle. Soit dit en passant, je dois mentionner que le gars qui a fait tapis lors de la première main et que j'ai battu avec ma paire de rois, avait encore 419 jetons après cette main. Il affiche maintenant un solde de jetons de 1669. J'ai raté la main qu'il a gagnée pour récupérer ces jetons.
Les Pocket Kings aident à éliminer un autre joueur. Deux autres joueurs (y compris celui qui a fait tapis lors de la première main) ont été éliminés lors de la main suivante, perdant face à un impressionnant trip Jacks. Nous sommes désormais à 6 joueurs.
Je viens de voir une main très intéressante : deux joueurs sont à tapis et se partagent le pot. Regardez l'image ci-dessous.
Un autre joueur a mordu la poussière en perdant avec son low kicker et nous en sommes à 5. Encore deux places pour l'argent.
Cela traîne un peu en ce moment car je n'arrive pas à mettre la main. Un joueur en face de moi continue de relancer mon BB. Il va falloir que je m'occupe de lui !

Un autre joueur perd contre King High ! Je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de rire en écrivant ça.
Mes jetons diminuent et je n'arrive pas à trouver un coup de main. Les niveaux de blinds sont de 150/300.
Finalement, un autre joueur est éliminé et nous sommes dans l'argent avec 3 d'entre nous restants.

Les mains sont assez égales et les jetons sont assez statiques. Il relance ma grosse blind et je relance la sienne. Cela a duré plusieurs mains et après de nombreuses mains où je n'ai rien obtenu et où je n'ai pas pu relancer, j'ai décidé d'essayer un peu de bluff. Mauvais mouvement!
J'avais et porté à 2 600. Mon adversaire sur-relance à tapis et je n'ai eu d'autre choix que de suivre. Il a montré Fiasco Le tour était et cette foutue rivière était . La rivière est la carte qui m'a fait perdre la main et je suis arrivé 2ème et j'ai gagné 1,50 $.
C'était un bon jeu que j'ai vraiment apprécié et j'ai gagné quelques centimes en plus.

I've joined a $12,000 Guaranteed tournament on PokerStars which has a $2.20 buyin. This tournament was on late registration but I decided to join anyway. Top players had $10k in chips and I've joined with $2k chips. Blinds are 60/120 and I've just checked the prize pool and it's $17268 and the top 1260 get paid.
There were 8634 entrants but only 2186 remain.
I couldn't get a hand to start with and my chips dwindled to 1,000. I was then dealt and I was the dealer which is a fantastic position to be in. One flat caller for the BB and I decided to go all in. BB calls as does the other caller. Flop comes down 
. Both players checked. Turn was and both players checked again. The river and again they both checked. I took the hand and won 3195.
Afew hands on and I'm dealt and I'm one behind the dealer. One player raises all in for 735 chips and the next player re-raises all in and I reckoned that my 7s were good to beat the re-raiser, so I called to beat the re-raiser. The flop was , the turn was 
and the river was
The re-raiser shows , I showed my 7s and the original raiser showed so I took down the side pot of 3720 and the original raiser won the main pot of 3055. My hunch was right about beating the re-raiser but it would have been nice to take the entire pot.
Quite a few hands on and I'm BB and I notice the usual practice of blind stealing by the bigger stacks. I do tend to try and stand up for myself to show them I won't be walked all over but, of course, it doesn't always work.
Anyway in this hand, I was raised by one player (big stack) to 1400 and I'd been dealt so I decided to call. In hindsight, I probably should have raised him all in as we were the only ones in the hand. The flop came down 
. We both check. The turn is so I decided to take a chance and bet all in. The othe player calls and shows . The river was and helps neither of us and I'm out. If I had gone all in pre-flop, I wonder if he would have folded....I guess I'll never know.
I finished in 1324th position. I think I should have hung onto my chips in that last hand, being so close to the money but my gut said that the other player was trying to steal and I was right. He just got very lucky on the flop.

Le sur-relance montre , j'ai montré mes 7 et le relanceur initial a montré j'ai donc remporté le pot secondaire de 3720 et le relanceur initial a remporté le pot principal de 3055. Mon intuition avait raison de battre le sur-relanceur, mais cela aurait été bien de prendre tout le pot.
Pas mal de mains et je suis BB et je remarque la pratique habituelle du vol à l'aveugle par les plus gros stacks. J'ai tendance à essayer de me défendre pour leur montrer que je ne me ferai pas marcher dessus mais, bien sûr, cela ne fonctionne pas toujours.
Quoi qu'il en soit, dans cette main, j'ai été relancé par un joueur (gros tapis) à 1400 et on m'a distribué alors j'ai décidé d'appeler. Avec le recul, j'aurais probablement dû le relancer à tapis puisque nous étions les seuls dans la main. Le flop est tombé . Nous vérifions tous les deux. Le tour est alors j'ai décidé de tenter ma chance et de miser all-in. L'autre joueur suit et montre . La rivière était et n'aide aucun de nous et je m'en vais. Si j'avais fait tapis pré-flop, je me demande s'il se serait couché... Je suppose que je ne le saurai jamais.
Je termine en 1324ème position. Je pense que j'aurais dû conserver mes jetons lors de cette dernière main, étant si proche de l'argent, mais mon instinct me disait que l'autre joueur essayait de voler et j'avais raison. Il a juste eu beaucoup de chance au flop.

PokerStars (no USA) 25c sitngo tournament a few days ago.
There were 90 entrants and I seemed to be at the bottom all the way along in this game. I didn't get very many good hands but I managed to get myself off the bottom of the pile with a tasty . I managed to triple up on this hand. I raised huge pre-flop, had a re-raise all in, a caller and I called. One player had whilst the other player had . No cards helped anyone and my Aces held.
Lots of posting and folding during the game, saw me back down the bottom of the pack again with 19 players left
I'm not going into the hands as this game lasted for 3 and a half hours. I did manage to get some respect on the table that I was at and stole a few blinds with some great bluffs. Oh and I managed to cook the dinner in between hands too! That was tough I have to say and I think I only lost one BB during cooking.
The top 12 places paid in this tournament and I was currently 12th out of 13. It was touch and go as to whether I would cash out at all in this tourney but I had a really good feeling about this game and played only hands that were better than Ace high (small/mid/large pairs).
The last few people went out and we were down to 9 and the final table. Play was tight which suited me fine. I was 8th out of 9 players. I actually don't mind being near the bottom as it makes me play a better game.
Two players went out (one of them played ) (what was he thinking) and was knocked out along with another player who played pocket 10s and lost to Ace rag.
Slowly but surely and after many, many hands, we were down to the last 3. I was in third place. I don't recall the winning hands but I managed to knock one player out and then finally, I took the chip lead and knocked the other player out.
I won the tournament and $5.78 for my trouble. A nice profit of $5.53 on my 25c buy in was a fantastic result. These 90 seaters are good fun in so many ways: you get to play a cheap tournament, where, if you get knocked out, it hasn't crushed your bankroll, you get to play some really bad fish - whilst these players are bad, they are a great way to improve your game. You also get to play some really good players too and the profit is definitely not to be sneezed at, should you manage to win.

Tournoi sitngo 25c PokerStars (pas aux États-Unis) il y a quelques jours.
Il y avait 90 participants et j’ai eu l’impression d’être au bas du classement tout au long de ce match. Je n'ai pas eu beaucoup de bonnes mains mais j'ai réussi à sortir du bas du tapis avec un savoureux . J'ai réussi à tripler sur cette main. J'ai relancé énormément pré-flop, j'ai eu une sur-relance à tapis, un call et j'ai suivi. Un joueur avait tandis que l'autre joueur avait . Aucune carte n'a aidé personne et mes As ont tenu.
Beaucoup de posts et de replis pendant le match m'ont fait redescendre en bas du peloton avec 19 joueurs restants.
Je ne vais pas entre les mains puisque ce jeu a duré 3 heures et demie. J'ai réussi à gagner du respect sur la table à laquelle j'étais et j'ai volé quelques blinds avec de superbes bluffs. Oh, et j'ai aussi réussi à préparer le dîner entre les mains ! C'était difficile, je dois le dire, et je pense que je n'ai perdu qu'un seul BB pendant la cuisson.
Les 12 premières places étaient payantes dans ce tournoi et j'étais actuellement 12ème sur 13. Il était difficile de savoir si j'allais encaisser du tout dans ce tournoi, mais j'avais un très bon pressentiment sur ce jeu et je n'ai joué que des mains qui étaient mieux que Ace high (petites/moyennes/grandes paires).
Les dernières personnes sont sorties et nous en étions à 9 et à la table finale. Le jeu était serré, ce qui me convenait bien. J'étais 8ème sur 9 joueurs. En fait, cela ne me dérange pas d'être près du bas, car cela me permet de jouer à un meilleur jeu.
Deux joueurs sont sortis (l'un d'eux a joué ) (à quoi pensait-il) et a été éliminé avec un autre joueur qui a joué une paire de 10 et a perdu contre Ace Rag.
Lentement mais sûrement et après de très nombreuses mains, nous nous retrouvions dans les 3 derniers. J'étais à la troisième place. Je ne me souviens pas des mains gagnantes, mais j'ai réussi à éliminer un joueur, puis finalement, j'ai pris le chip lead et j'ai éliminé l'autre joueur.
J'ai gagné le tournoi et 5,78 $ pour mes ennuis. Un joli bénéfice de 5,53 $ sur mon buy-in de 25c a été un résultat fantastique. Ces 90 places sont très amusantes à bien des égards : vous pouvez jouer à un tournoi bon marché, où, si vous êtes éliminé, cela n'a pas détruit votre bankroll, vous pouvez jouer un très mauvais poisson - alors que ces joueurs sont mauvais, ils sont un excellent moyen d’améliorer votre jeu. Vous pouvez également affronter de très bons joueurs et les bénéfices ne sont certainement pas à dédaigner si vous parvenez à gagner.

Great job hun. I can't believe that tournament took 3 and 1/2 hours though. I've finished tournaments with +1000 players and played at the final table in that amount of time.
Excellent travail, chérie. Je ne peux pas croire que ce tournoi ait duré 3 heures et demie. J'ai terminé des tournois avec plus de 1 000 joueurs et joué à la table finale pendant ce laps de temps.

This is my win at PKR. As you may or may not know, PKR is the most animated 3D site on the net. When you win, you stand up and rather than all the dollars falling down on you, on a cheap game like this, you get tica-tape and lots of cheering (not from the other players mind) :D.
This was a 10 seater 60c buyin and despite me being down to 225 chips and being disconnected, I managed to reconnect to the game and go on to win.
You don't pull comebacks like this out of the bag every day but it gave me so much pleasure. I do love a comeback!
There were 5 of us left in this game when I kept disconnecting from the server and I only had 225 in chips left. I quickly shut down the lobby and restarted the software and managed to connect before I'd lost any more chips. When I returned one of the big stacks had been knocked out and there were only 4 of us left. I was next up for being BB.
I was dealt and the blinds were 75/150. I had one caller. I raised all in and managed to hit the Jack on the turn and won the hand. This was the beginning of my comeback.
I was all in again next hand with but everyone folded. I folded a couple of hands and then I was dealt when I was BB and raised all in by the SB. I figured this player would have an ace with anything and decided to give it a shot.
He had . The flop came down . Nothing else helped either of us and I won the hand leaving him with about 450 chips.
He was knocked out the next hand and we were down to 3 players. One of the players kept portraying good hands and I didn't believe him for a moment however he did manage to knock the other player out when he had against an ace rag.
So we are down to two players. I just want his chips so I can be the chip leader which may well help him to bluff a bit more and lose all his chips to me.
I was dealt pocket queens and went all in. He folded. I did take the value of my stack off of him but I can't remember the hand (it wasn't pretty is all I remember).
So I'm chip leader, I'm BB and he did his usual raise pre-flop. I thought about it for a few seconds. Looked at my cards again (you have to click on them to see them) and i had and decided to call.
The flop came down . We both checked. The next card was and he went all in. I decided to call and was so chuffed when he showed his cards and had . I don't remember the final card and I know it didn't help either of us. I was so thrilled that I had beaten this guy. It was a good game but even more so, because of the comeback.
It just goes to show that a chip and a chair is all you need!

C'est ma victoire à PKR . Comme vous le savez peut-être ou non, PKR est le site 3D le plus animé du net. Lorsque vous gagnez, vous vous levez et plutôt que tous les dollars ne vous tombent dessus, sur un jeu bon marché comme celui-ci, vous recevez du tica-tape et beaucoup d'encouragements (pas de l'esprit des autres joueurs) :D.

Nous sommes donc réduits à deux joueurs. Je veux juste ses jetons pour pouvoir être le chip leader, ce qui pourrait bien l'aider à bluffer un peu plus et à perdre tous ses jetons contre moi.
J'ai reçu une paire de Dames et j'ai fait tapis. Il s'est couché. Je lui ai retiré la valeur de mon tapis mais je ne me souviens pas de la main (ce n'était pas joli, c'est tout ce dont je me souviens).
Je suis donc chip leader, je suis BB et il a fait sa relance habituelle pré-flop. J'y ai réfléchi quelques secondes. J'ai encore regardé mes cartes (il faut cliquer dessus pour les voir) et j'ai eu et a décidé d'appeler.
Le flop est tombé . Nous avons tous les deux vérifié. La carte suivante était et il a fait tapis. J'ai décidé de suivre et j'ai été tellement heureux quand il a montré ses cartes et a eu . Je ne me souviens pas de la carte finale et je sais qu'elle ne nous a aidé ni l'un ni l'autre. J’étais tellement ravi d’avoir battu ce gars. C'était un bon match mais encore plus grâce à la remontée.
Cela montre bien qu’une puce et une chaise suffisent !

Having frittered all my poker money away on their casino games at PKR, I was eligible to play in the 25c giveaway tournaments. I really could kick myself for wasting my poker cash however, I did enjoy the slot I was playing (Why is Chain Reactor Trails slot so addictive? - answers on a postcard please to..... ;))
Anyway - back to the serious game of poker. I registered for the 25c 100 seater giveaway. The usual fishy players were going all in with rubbish and getting lucky so I just waited for a decent hand.
I did get and decided to just limp in if I could. I'd been watching one player with his fishy hands, betting post flop and generally stealing the blinds almost every hand. I did manage to limp in with my pocket 8s and i saw the flop too which wasn't much help to me. but having said that, my 8s look quite good. Inevitably, the fishy player was in the hand and bet the pot which was 200 if I recall. I decided to just call him and see what was to come on the turn. The other couple of players in the hand folded. The turn came and it was . The other player bet the pot again and I just went all in and he quickly called. He showed his hand which was . The river was no help and he was drawing dead anyway so I won the hand.
A good few hands on and I had to leave the room for a few seconds. A hand had just started so I had plenty of time. I was no more than 30 seconds and when I came back my timer was just running out so I quickly clicked my hand to see it and as I saw it was , it folded me and sat me out. I was gutted. What a time to leave the computer.
All was not lost though, as a few hands on, I got the same hand. I raised pre-flop to 6xBB and the same person called. The flop came down 
. I was first to act and just bet 2xBB and the guy re-raised to the pot. I took my time to call him. The next card was and I checked. The opponent went all in and I promptly called. He showed his hand and he had . This guy was turning out to be a bit of a muppet. Nothing came to help him and again, he was drawing dead and I wont the hand.
In the next few hands I managed to take most of this guys chips as I kept being dealt pocket pairs.
Looking at the the number of players, we were actually down to about 15 left by this time and the top 8 places paid.
I posted and folded for some time, won a couple of hands and eventually we were down to the final table. There were some terrible hands still being played at this point in the game like 82 off! I managed to stay in until there were just 3 of us left. The other female player was not really trying at all and she just allowed her blinds to be taken in most hands and before long she was out and there were just the two of us left.
My opponent had 104k in chips and I had about 46k. I won a couple of hands but nothing much to speak of.
On my final hand I was whooping the other player with 2 pairs and he had nothing until the river when he made his flush and I was knocked out. So, out of 100 players, I came second....and my pay off for all that hard work was a huge 5c! Well it was free money after all.
It was an enjoyable game but then it usually is on PKR because of the "live game" feel it has.

j'ai eu et j'ai décidé de boiter si je le pouvais. J'avais observé un joueur avec ses mains de poisson, pariant post-flop et généralement volant les blinds presque à chaque main. J'ai réussi à limper avec ma paire de 8 et j'ai également vu le flop, ce qui ne m'a pas été d'une grande aide. mais cela dit, mes 8 ont l'air plutôt bien. Inévitablement, le joueur poissonneux était dans la main et a misé le pot qui était de 200 si je me souviens bien. J'ai décidé de simplement l'appeler et de voir ce qui allait arriver au tournant. Les autres joueurs de la main se sont couchés. Le tour est venu et c'était . L'autre joueur a encore misé le pot et j'ai fait tapis et il a rapidement suivi. Il montra sa main qui était . La rivière n'a pas aidé et il était de toute façon en train de tirer, donc j'ai gagné la main.
Quelques bonnes interventions et j'ai dû quitter la pièce pendant quelques secondes. Une main venait de commencer donc j'avais tout le temps. Il ne me restait plus que 30 secondes et quand je suis revenu, mon chronomètre était presque épuisé, alors j'ai rapidement cliqué sur ma main pour le voir et comme je l'ai vu, c'était , ça m'a plié et m'a fait asseoir. J'étais vidé. Quelle heure pour quitter l'ordinateur.
Mais tout n'était pas perdu, puisque quelques mains m'ont donné la même main. J'ai relancé pré-flop à 6xBB et la même personne a suivi. Le flop est tombé . J'ai été le premier à agir et j'ai simplement misé 2xBB et le gars a sur-relancé pour le pot. J'ai pris mon temps pour l'appeler. La carte suivante était et j'ai vérifié. L'adversaire a fait tapis et j'ai immédiatement suivi. Il a montré sa main et il a . Ce type se révélait être un peu une marionnette. Rien n'est venu pour l'aider et encore une fois, il était mort et je ne lui tendais pas la main.
Dans les mains suivantes, j'ai réussi à prendre la plupart des jetons de ce gars alors que je continuais à recevoir des paires de poche.
En regardant le nombre de joueurs, il ne restait plus qu'une quinzaine de joueurs à ce moment-là et les 8 premières places étaient payées.
J'ai posté et couché pendant un certain temps, j'ai gagné quelques mains et finalement nous nous sommes retrouvés en table finale. Il y avait encore des mains terribles qui étaient jouées à ce stade du jeu, comme 82 off ! J'ai réussi à rester jusqu'à ce que nous ne soyons plus que trois. L'autre joueuse n'essayait pas vraiment du tout et elle a juste laissé ses blinds être prises dans la plupart des mains et peu de temps après, elle était éliminée et nous n'étions plus que deux.
Mon adversaire avait 104 000 jetons et j'en avais environ 46 000. J'ai gagné quelques mains mais rien de spécial.
Lors de ma dernière main, j'ai frappé l'autre joueur avec 2 paires et il n'avait rien jusqu'à la rivière lorsqu'il a fait sa couleur et j'ai été éliminé. Donc, sur 100 joueurs, je suis arrivé deuxième... et ma récompense pour tout ce travail acharné était d'un énorme 5c ! Eh bien, c'était de l'argent gratuit après tout.
C'était un jeu agréable, mais il est généralement disponible sur PKR en raison de l'impression de "jeu en direct".

Now this is a thought provoking subject! It occurred to me that it never occurred to me. I have been too focused on whether or not we will have online poker at all in the US... But, blue your ideas about the 3D and the feeling of really being at the table are exciting ideas! I am not sure I would want anyone looking at me while I play online poker... I am doing any number of things while I am playing and none of them include sitting at a table! LOL LOL LOL

I almost always get it wrong, particularly when it's a new table that I've just joined and I haven't had time to work out if the "all-in'er" is a bully or just a good player. Glad I'm not alone Katt.

Nope you will never be alone when it comes to picking the wrong thing to do in poker! I am really good at that... and yes, new tables get me pretty bad!
Plus, you just get that other table full of players figured out and you have them thinking they have you figured out and bam new table!
Got me on Saturday in my big $7500 tournament... I was on a roll, doing great, building my stack... table changed and I did not change fast enough with it and lost all I gained and more! Ouch!
