Late last night I decided to have me a "quick" game of poker on PKR . $1 buy in 6 seater sitngo. Had I known it was going to go on for over an hour, I surely wouldn't have registered for it.
This game has got to be one of the best games I've had in a long time. The play was hot, 2 fish knocked out pretty quickly and then the battle was on. Four good to excellent players were left and poker "respect" was present.
The chips were fairly evenly spread between the four of us and all the poker tricks were there too....slow playing good hands, check-raising...you name it, it was there. One guy had trips twice and didn't bet hoping other players would bet but the play was so tight, there was no bluffing at all and he just won the BB and SB.
At one point I had KK and raised 5xBB and one guy called. He went all in after the flop which was J 5 10 and I called. He showed 10 10 and whooped my butt with his trips. I still had about 1700 chips left after calling him.
The play went on for some time and the chips were going back and forth between the players. The guy that doubled up on my KK kept losing his chips and he was down to about 1900. He was SB and I was BB. The two other players folded and he flat called the BB. I had AK hearts but chose not to raise. Flop comes down 10 J Q rainbow. I thought to myself this is it. He bet about 600 and I flat called. He then went all in after the turn which was a 6 and I called which put me all in. He showed 66 and the river was no help to him at all and I doubled up. He was left with about 150 chips I think.
He managed to double up once and then he got knocked out against AK. So there were 3 of us left. The play tightened up even more. Nobody was calling with rubbish. At one point I had AA and everyone had folded. What a waste!
Eventually, there were just 2 of us women left - I knocked the last guy out but I can't remember the hand....it was a long game.
So heads up with this pretty good playing woman who had thrown all rubbish the whole game. At first we were just checking and betting if we hit and I decided to up the stakes a little and changed my play to aggressive.
At one point I had Js Qs and blinds are $150/$300 and I'm BB. Opponent raises to $600 and I just flat called. Flop comes down 4s 2s 9d. She goes all in and I flat called. This left me about $1500. Her cards popped up and she had Kd Ks. I was praying the spade would fall and the turn was As. I'm thinking yeah - here we go. River 6s. So she wins with Ace flush with the Ks. What a disappointment that was. The game would have ended with me the winner if it were not for that damn spade on the river.
Anyway, I decided to be even more aggressive and anything above Jack in my hand and I was all in. I managed to get back up to about $1900 stealing the blinds for a couple of hands.
Next comes 10 J for me. She flat calls. Flop comes down Qd Kd Ah. I just went all in and opponent calls. She shows 3h Ad. Fortunately for me Qh was turn and 2d was river and I doubled up.
Game goes on and on and chips are back and forth for some time and then I'm back on top again with $6k in chips. I'm BB at $800 and opponent is SB at $400. She goes all in for $2700 and I just called.
Cards are down and I show my 10 10 opponent has A 7. Flop comes down A 6 A. Turn 10, River K. So she has trip aces and I have the full house and it was game over.
OMG - this game lasted 1hr 22 minutes and I was worn out but thrilled that I had won. I have never been so determined to win a game as this one purely because of the quality of play.

Ce jeu doit être l’un des meilleurs jeux que j’ai joué depuis longtemps. Le jeu était chaud, 2 poissons sont tombés assez rapidement et la bataille a commencé. Il restait quatre joueurs bons à excellents et le « respect » du poker était présent.
Les jetons étaient répartis de manière assez égale entre nous quatre et tous les tours de poker étaient là aussi... jouer lentement de bonnes mains, check-raiser... vous l'appelez, c'était là. Un gars a fait un brelan deux fois et n'a pas parié en espérant que d'autres joueurs parieraient, mais le jeu était si serré qu'il n'y avait aucun bluff et il a juste gagné le BB et le SB.
À un moment donné, j'ai eu KK et j'ai relancé 5xBB et un gars a suivi. Il a fait tapis après le flop qui était J 5 10 et j'ai suivi. Il a montré 10 10 et m'a cogné les fesses avec ses voyages. Il me restait encore environ 1 700 jetons après l'avoir suivi.
Le jeu dura un certain temps et les jetons allaient et venaient entre les joueurs. Le gars qui a doublé sur mon KK a continué à perdre ses jetons et il en était à environ 1900. Il était SB et j'étais BB. Les deux autres joueurs se sont couchés et il a suivi le BB. J'avais des cœurs AK mais j'ai choisi de ne pas relancer. Le flop donne 10 JQ arc-en-ciel. Je me suis dit que c'était ça. Il a misé environ 600 et j'ai suivi. Il a ensuite fait tapis après le tournant qui était un 6 et j'ai suivi, ce qui m'a mis à tapis. Il a montré 66 et la rivière ne lui a été d'aucune aide et j'ai doublé. Il lui restait environ 150 jetons, je pense.
Il a réussi à doubler une fois, puis il a été éliminé contre AK. Nous étions donc 3. Le jeu se durcit encore davantage. Personne n'appelait avec des ordures. À un moment donné, j'avais AA et tout le monde s'était couché. Quel gâchis!
Finalement, nous n'étions plus que deux femmes - j'ai éliminé le dernier gars mais je ne me souviens plus de la main... c'était une longue partie.
Alors affrontez cette très bonne joueuse qui avait jeté toutes les conneries tout au long du match. Au début, nous nous contentions de checker et de parier si nous touchions et j'ai décidé d'augmenter un peu les enjeux et j'ai changé mon jeu pour devenir agressif.
À un moment donné, j'avais Js Qs et les blinds étaient de 150 $/300 $ et je suis BB. L'adversaire relance à 600$ et je viens de suivre. Le flop tombe 4s 2s 9d. Elle fait tapis et j'ai suivi. Cela m'a laissé environ 1 500 $. Ses cartes sont apparues et elle avait Kd Ks. Je priais pour que le pique tombe et que le tour soit As. Je pense que oui, c'est parti. Rivière 6s. Elle gagne donc avec Ace au ras du Ks. Quelle déception ce fut. La partie se serait terminée avec moi comme vainqueur sans ce foutu pique sur la rivière.

Le jeu continue encore et encore et les jetons vont et viennent pendant un certain temps, puis je reviens au sommet avec 6 000 $ de jetons. Je suis BB à 800 $ et mon adversaire est SB à 400 $. Elle fait tapis pour 2 700 $ et je viens de suivre.
Les cartes sont tombées et je montre que mon adversaire 10 10 a A 7. Le flop tombe A 6 A. Turn 10, River K. Elle a donc triplé les As et j'ai le full et la partie était terminée.
OMG - ce jeu a duré 1h22 et j'étais épuisé mais ravi d'avoir gagné. Je n’ai jamais été aussi déterminé à gagner un match que celui-ci uniquement en raison de la qualité du jeu.

Not last night but the night before, I decided to have a game on Full Tilt and decided it was time to up the stakes a little. I picked a $3.50 + 30c 9 seater sitngo. I registered and the game started almost straight away.
When I looked at my chips, I only had 300! :o I hadn't realised it was a limited chip tourney. I thought ok here we go, I'm not going to last long as I fold so many hands.
The play was fairly tight but needless to say on the first hand someone was knocked out as is usually the case.
I'm just posting and folding and my little stack is getting smaller and smaller and I'm thinking I'm going to run out of chips before I get a hand. Finally I get a hand, AA so I just threw all my chips in the pot and stole all the blinds. This brought me back to 300 chips.
The play goes on and I'm folding again and then hey presto, AA again. Threw all my chips in again and everyone folded. By this time there are 7 of us left. I then was dealt KK and threw all my chips in again and somebody called with KQ. I must say it was a relief to see that. Nothing came down to help my opponent and I virtually doubled up and they were knocked out.
I found that I was really tense during this game and I wonder if it was the low starting chips that made me feel that way. I was certainly on my "best poker behaviour" that's for sure.
I continued posting and folding my rubbish and a few others were knocked out and that left 4 of us. Only one more seat and I'm in the money.
I was dealt a pair for several hands running and was just flat calling. I did hit trips on the river of one hand, 9s it was and scooped a nice pot.
Another hand comes and I have 88 and I'm small blind. I just flat called and BB raised min so I call that too. Flop comes down 792. I checked and BB bet minimum so I called. Turn Q. I checked and BB checked. River was a 5 I think and I checked and BB bet so I raised and he folded. By this time I have 1045 in chips and I'm in the lead.
The game continues with one other player taking the chips off the other two left and one player was knocked out and I knew then (of course) that I was in the money. The other player then knocked out the third remaining player who was bluffing and that left just me and this other guy.
We played a few hands just checking, folding and pre flop raises to steal the blinds. Then I hit A6 suited and raised this guy. He decided to go all in and I called (I had the fewer chips of the two of us). He showed KQ.
Flop comes down KQ8 rainbow and as soon as I saw that I knew I was doomed. Suffice it to say nothing came that was of any use to me and I came second. My reward for coming second was $9.45 which was a nice return on my entry fee.
I really enjoyed this game although it was quite tense because of the small starting stack. I don't know if I will play another though.

Je suis juste en train de poster et de me coucher et mon petit stack devient de plus en plus petit et je pense que je vais manquer de jetons avant d'avoir une main. Finalement, j'obtiens une main, AA, alors j'ai juste jeté tous mes jetons dans le pot et volé toutes les blinds. Cela m'a ramené à 300 jetons.
Le jeu continue et je me couche à nouveau, puis hop, AA à nouveau. J'ai encore lancé tous mes jetons et tout le monde s'est couché. À ce moment-là, nous sommes encore 7. J'ai ensuite reçu KK et j'ai de nouveau lancé tous mes jetons et quelqu'un a suivi avec KQ. Je dois dire que c'était un soulagement de voir ça. Rien n'a aidé mon adversaire et j'ai pratiquement doublé ma mise et il a été éliminé.
J'ai trouvé que j'étais vraiment tendu pendant ce match et je me demande si ce sont les faibles jetons de départ qui m'ont fait ressentir cela. J'étais certainement sur mon "meilleur comportement au poker", c'est sûr.
J'ai continué à poster et à plier mes détritus et quelques autres ont été assommés et cela nous a laissé 4. Encore un siège et je suis dans l'argent.
J'ai reçu une paire pendant plusieurs mains consécutives et j'ai simplement suivi. J'ai touché un brelan sur la rivière d'une main, c'était 9s et j'ai récupéré un joli pot.
Une autre main arrive et j'ai 88 et je suis en petite blind. J'ai juste suivi et BB a relancé min donc j'ai suivi ça aussi. Le flop revient à 792. J'ai checké et BB a misé au minimum donc j'ai suivi. Le jeu continue avec un autre joueur prenant les jetons des deux autres joueurs restants et un joueur a été éliminé et j'ai alors su (bien sûr) que j'étais dans l'argent. L'autre joueur a ensuite éliminé le troisième joueur restant qui bluffait et il ne restait plus que moi et cet autre gars.
Nous avons joué quelques mains en checkant, en passant et en relançant pré-flop pour voler les blinds. Ensuite, j'ai frappé A6 assorti et j'ai relancé ce gars. Il a décidé de faire tapis et j'ai suivi (j'avais le moins de jetons de nous deux). Il a montré KQ.
Le flop descend KQ8 Rainbow et dès que j'ai vu cela, j'ai su que j'étais condamné. Il suffit de dire que rien ne m’a été utile et que je suis arrivé deuxième. Ma récompense pour ma deuxième place était de 9,45 $, ce qui représentait un bon retour sur mes frais d'inscription.
J'ai vraiment apprécié cette partie même si elle était assez tendue à cause du petit stack de départ. Par contre, je ne sais pas si j'en jouerai un autre.

My last sentence on the above was "I don't know if I will play another though".
I just entered a $1.50 + 20c sitngo and I only got 300 chips again. I had no idea. I must check these things before I join.
First hand 3 players all in AQ / AQ / AJ. One player out.
I'm going to type this up as I play. Just folding at the moment. One player just went all in with 88 and another player called with Ace rag. The 88 held.
Next hand another player goes all in wth A10 and one person called. The opponent has KJ. Flop came down 5K5. Turn 7 and river 3. Down to 7 players now.
Next hand another player gets unlucky and is knocked out - he had 2 prs and the other guy hits trips on the river.
I'm dealt 66 and I just flat called. Flop has come down 567. I just checked as is everyone else. Turn is an 8. Checked again. River is a 10 - everyone checks so I bet and one player called. He has K2. lol.
Next hand I have 10 10 and just flat called. Everyone folds except BB who has about 80 in chips. Flop comes down 354 and I bet. He called and was all in. He showed 78 suited. Turn is a 2 and river is a 5 so I won and he is out.
This now leaves 5 players.
This one particular guy is going all in almost every hand. It's really annoying. Lots of posting and folding for me.
Then I got A5 suited and the guy who is raising every hand goes all in. I was SB. I decided to call. He had QK. Flop comes down 10 9 3, turn is a 9 and river is a 3. So I doubled up and he lost a lot of his stack.
Two players are all in - one shows KK and the other has AK. The KK held and one more is out. This leaves just 4 players.
I now have been dealt KK and I just raised and won the pot. I've now got 1200 in chips. The "all in" guy goes all in again and this time he gets a caller. He shows JA and his opponent shows KK. Flop is 10 2 6, turn is 7 and river is a 7 so its goodbye to him.
Three of us left. I'm back to getting rubbish again. Player with the least chips has gone all in and the one with the most chips has called. Least chips shows Q2 and opponent shows Q8. Flop is Q77, turn J and river 8. Thats him gone.
Two left including me. Opponent is stealing my blinds and I'm waiting for the hand.
I have 66 so I'm all in. Opponent calls with A7 suited spades. Flop comes down 2sJc4s. Turn is Jd and river is 5s. So Im out in 2nd place lost on the river to a flush. Well isn't that just typical.
Anyway return is $4.05 which is pretty good.
That was an "as it happens" write up and jeez that was hard.

Trois d'entre nous sont partis. Je retourne à nouveau aux ordures. Le joueur avec le moins de jetons a fait tapis et celui avec le plus de jetons a suivi. Le moins de jetons montre Q2 et l'adversaire montre Q8. Le flop est Q77, le turn J et la rivière 8. C'est lui qui est parti.
Il en reste deux, dont moi. L'adversaire vole mes blinds et j'attends la main.
J'en ai 66 donc je suis all-in. L'adversaire suit avec A7 pique assorti. Le flop tombe 2sJc4s. Le tournant est Jd et la rivière est 5s. Je suis donc à la 2ème place, perdu sur la rivière avec une couleur. Eh bien, n'est-ce pas typique.
Quoi qu'il en soit, le retour est de 4,05 $, ce qui est plutôt bien.
C’était une écriture « au fur et à mesure » et bon sang, c’était difficile.

I played a $2 sitngo on Full Tilt - just finished and I'm furious.
Why am I furious you may ask. I let this fish win a hand by betting low and letting him get to the river and he stole a large chunk of my stack. I had AQ suited hearts - flop comes down A2Q. I bet min bet - he flat called. Turn comes - think it was a 10. I checked he checked. River comes 5. I bet the pot he raised and I called. He had 34 and hit a straight.
I told him he was a "bit of a fish" but alas it didn't elicit a response. The game went on and if he was in the hand, I just went all in to stop him fishing to the river.
There were 4 of us left in the game and one is just posting and folding, one is trying to steal my blinds and then there was the fish. I played a couple of hands with the blind stealer. Each time I had hit with top pair - he bet 800, I just went all in and he folded. I managed to get a few pairs and just went all in each time and stole the blinds.
The game goes on - bit boring really, just posting and folding. I had QK suited hearts and I'm small blind and the fish is on my left so he is Big Blind. I just flat called and fish checks. The flop comes down K28 rainbow flop. I checked, fish bets 800, I went all in and fish folds. A very successful hand for three reasons (1) I had top pair (2) He wasted 800 chips and (3) I won.
A few hands go by and I get QK suited again. I called and fish raised so I called his raise. Flop comes down Ks2s10. I bet 2 x BB, fish calls. Turn comes nothing of any help to anyone. I just went all in and fish called. He shows 4s6s. River comes a spade and I'm out in 4th.
I'm furious because I should have just gone all in on the flop. From his past play, he would likely have folded and I would have won the hand and still been in the game. This may sound awful but I really really dislike the fish when they get lucky. I don't mind them when they don't get lucky and I see plenty of that in poker - example the serial "all inners" every hand. Its always just a matter of time before somebody hits AA or KK and knocks them out. But the lucky fish make me mad as hell.
So my lesson learned today is:
If you know they are a fish - don't give them an inch.
It's incredible that I've been playing poker since I was a kid and yet still I'm always re-learning the things that I already know but tend to forget too easily.

Je viens de suivre et de pêcher des chèques. Le flop tombe sur le flop arc-en-ciel K28. J'ai checké, j'ai misé 800, j'ai fait tapis et je me suis couché. Une main très réussie pour trois raisons (1) j'avais une top paire (2) il a gaspillé 800 jetons et (3) j'ai gagné.

Je suis furieux parce que j'aurais dû faire tapis au flop. D'après son jeu passé, il se serait probablement couché et j'aurais gagné la main tout en étant toujours dans la partie. Cela peut paraître horrible, mais je n'aime vraiment pas les poissons quand ils ont de la chance. Cela ne me dérange pas quand ils n'ont pas de chance et j'en vois beaucoup au poker - par exemple la série "all inners" à chaque main. Si vous savez que ce sont des poissons, ne leur donnez pas un pouce.
C'est incroyable que je joue au poker depuis que je suis enfant et pourtant je réapprends toujours des choses que je sais déjà mais que j'ai tendance à oublier trop facilement.

Second hand dealt with AA. Raised to 300 and everyone folded. I'd rather win the BB/SB than let some fish get in with rubbish. Fourth hand dealt 10 10 and I'm BB. Was raised min raise so I called. Flop comes down Ah3h4h. Original raiser bets high so I folded.
One person out - all in with K5 loses to trip 10s.
Just got dealt QQ. I'm the dealer. BB is raised so I re-raised. Original raiser calls. Flop comes down 6hJh8s. I just went all in and other player called. He shows AsJs.
I thought here we go again - they will get their flush. Turn comes - 9s so they now have 4 spades. River comes 9h....phew. So that's another one out and I virtually doubled up.
Just posting and folding at the moment.
Had my BB raised again by the person UTG. Getting fed up with it so I re-raised and he folded.
Another player just bit the dust - he was all in with a straight draw and didn't hit. 3 of us left now. Both are bluffers which makes it quite difficult to pick the hands that aren't bluffs.
Still just posting and folding and checking down.
Just had QK - I'm BB and the guy UTG raised me....yet again and I called. Flop comes down Q8K. I bet 200, he re-raised to 600 so I re-raised him to 1000 and he folded. Phew - was dreading he had the K.
As I was writing the above, the guy to the left of me goes all in with AK and gets called by the other player with QQ. Flop is 936, turn 8, river 8 so he is out and I'm in the money.
Well what a fish. I had 9K and I'm BB. He just flat called and flop comes down K32. So I bet. He calls. Turn 3, river J. I bet again and he raises so I just called and he'd fished a flush all the way to the river.
The game is now over and I just couldn't write this as it was going so fast. So here is the rest of the game from the history.
I'm just posting and folding, stealing a few blinds here and there and he is doing the same. So I'm big blind and I have 10 10. He raises all in and I thought this was a great hand so I called.
He shows QK. Flop comes down 24Q. My only hope is a 10. Turn comes 8 and the river is a 3. I lose most of my stack and I'm left with 110 chips.
You would think that this was all over now but I'm a fighter when the chips are down and I managed (with a lot of all ins) to get back up to 3160 chips.
I'm BB and he raises all in. I have A 7 which is a good hand heads up so I called. He shows 9J. Flop is 10,9,4. Turn is 4 and the river is the J.
I came 2nd but I put up a good fight and walked away with $10.50 which is a nice return for my $5 entry fee.
It was a good game and if it wasn't for the bad luck with the 10s, I feel sure I could have won this game.

Je pensais que c'était reparti – ils obtiendraient leur couleur. Le tour arrive - 9s donc ils ont maintenant 4 piques. La rivière arrive à 9h....ouf. C'est donc une autre sortie et j'ai pratiquement doublé.
Je viens de poster et de plier pour le moment.

Il montre QK. Le flop tombe 24Q. Mon seul espoir est un 10. Le tournant arrive le 8 et la rivière est un 3. Je perds la majeure partie de mon tapis et il me reste 110 jetons.
On pourrait penser que tout cela est fini maintenant, mais je suis un combattant lorsque les jetons sont bas et j'ai réussi (avec beaucoup de all-ins) à remonter jusqu'à 3160 jetons.
Je suis BB et il relance all in. J'ai A 7 qui est une bonne main en heads-up alors j'ai suivi. Il montre 9J. Le flop est 10,9,4. Le tour est le 4 et la rivière est la J.
Je suis arrivé 2ème mais je me suis bien battu et je suis reparti avec 10,50 $, ce qui est un bon retour pour mes frais d'entrée de 5 $.
C'était un bon match et sans la malchance avec les 10, je suis sûr que j'aurais pu gagner ce match.

Hey Blue, just reading your furious post... it made me laugh. You really seem to hate those lucky fishes. I think you actually played the last hand that got you knocked out close to how you should have though.
It sucked that you got knocked out, but by putting him all in on the turn you forced him to make an awfully bad call with only 20% chance of hitting his flush. Where if you put him all in on the flop its not such a bad call for him, where if he calls he has a 42% chance of taking the pot down. It sucks when you lose, but your aim should always be to force your opponent into making bad calls, which is what you did.
Anyway, keep the posts coming i enjoy reading them. And try to lay off on the poor little fishies a bit.

C'était dommage que vous ayez été éliminé, mais en le mettant à tapis au tournant, vous l'avez forcé à faire un très mauvais call avec seulement 20 % de chances de toucher sa couleur. Alors que si vous le mettez all-in au flop, ce n'est pas un si mauvais call pour lui, alors que s'il call, il a 42% de chances de remporter le pot. C'est nul quand vous perdez, mais votre objectif devrait toujours être de forcer votre adversaire à faire de mauvais appels, et c'est ce que vous avez fait.
Quoi qu'il en soit, continuez à publier vos messages, j'aime les lire. Et essayez de vous débarrasser un peu des pauvres petits poissons.

Hi big_deanus - does it really show that much that I hate those fishy players? Heh heh. Yes I do and I try to keep calm and I really do try to show them up if I can. It amazes me that other players do not recognise a fish when they see one.
I played a matrix game - 4 games for the price of one for $2. I did get my money back but there was one player who really sucked big time. He was raising pre flop every hand without fail, he was betting huge if he was called and they were folding folding folding. I did manage to get a really good hand against this person and I just flat called, flat called and then when the river came, I went all in and he folded in the blink of an eye. This person did call one hand against me and he had absolutely nothing which I had already guessed and after me showing him up, he was soon knocked out.
I don't get how some players are so blind to their "strategy". Yeah - in inverted commas - I don't think being a fish qualifies as a strategy. What do you think?

Salut big_deanus – est-ce que cela montre vraiment que je déteste ces joueurs louches ? Hé hé. Oui, je le fais et j'essaie de rester calme et j'essaie vraiment de leur montrer si je le peux. Cela m'étonne que les autres joueurs ne reconnaissent pas un poisson lorsqu'ils en voient un.
J'ai joué à un jeu matriciel - 4 jeux pour le prix d'un pour 2 $. J'ai récupéré mon argent, mais il y avait un joueur qui était vraiment nul. Il relançait pré-flop à chaque main sans faute, il misait énormément s'il était suivi et ils se couchaient, se couchaient. J'ai réussi à avoir une très bonne main contre cette personne et j'ai juste suivi à plat, puis à plat, puis quand la rivière est arrivée, j'ai fait tapis et il s'est couché en un clin d'œil. Cette personne a appelé une main contre moi et il n'avait absolument rien que j'avais déjà deviné et après que je l'ai montré, il a rapidement été assommé.
Je ne comprends pas comment certains joueurs sont si aveugles à leur « stratégie ». Ouais - entre guillemets - je ne pense pas qu'être un poisson soit considéré comme une stratégie. Qu'en penses-tu?

I was ready for the usual posting and folding of rubbish...which of course came. The play was pretty poor to be honest and I was just watching the play. 20 hands in and I still haven't played a hand
Two players are trying to steal all the blinds and the short stack raised all in (dealer) and got called. They show their hands pre flop - Qs4s and 10d8d (all in). The flop came down 3s5sAd. Turn is a 2s and river is a 7d so the all in guy was out. Down to 5 players.
28 hands in - I got Ac8c and thought I would just flat call. 2 other players in (BB and SB) - SB just flat called and BB checked. Flop comes down 2c6h7c. I bet 240 after SB and BB checked. SB called and BB folded. Now I've been watching this player who is SB and he was a bit of a bluffer judging from the hands he played. I'm on a flush draw. Turn comes down 6d. No good for me. SB checks so I just bet 720 and won the pot with nothing but Ace high.
A few hands later I'm dealt 10 10. I'm SB - first to act folds, 2nd to act folds and dealer raises to 350 (Blinds are 50/100). I just flat called and BB folds. Two of us in the hand and the flop comes down K37 - no good to me. So I bet 800 guessing that the other player either has Ace rag or a small pair. They just flat called me which said a lot. Next card is a 4 - so I just went all in and they called me. Fortunately, they showed 88. River comes down and its a 10 so I have trips and they are left with 185 chips.
A few hands on and the small stack is all in with 92 off - he loses to a pair of 10s. 92 off - what were they thinking.
Anyway there are now 4 of us left and its just posting and folding for me for quite a few hands which gave me an opportunity to watch the other players. I was dealt 9d10d on one hand and just flat called on a preflop raise (I'm BB). Flop comes down 347d. I checked - other player checks. Turn comes down another 4. I checked - opponent bets 480 and for reasons unknown to me I called. River comes and its a 7. If I was going to win this pot, I had to do something so I bet 360 and amazingly, the other guy folded. That was a nice pot for nothing in my hand.
This game seemed to be going on for ages and I posted and folded what must have been another 20 hands. I stole a few blinds with a couple of decent hands but that was about it.
One of the players (to my left) is now quite short stacked due to some very poor play. I'm SB and the short stack is BB. The other two players folded so I decided to push the short stack with my A2. The player called and revealed 5d8d. Flop comes down 106dQ, turn is Q and river is a 10 so that's one more down and I win the pot making me chip leader.
That left 3 of us and the very next hand another player is knocked out losing with his pocket 7s to a pair of Ks.
Two of us left and we are just checking for a couple of hands - both stealing a few blinds, me pushing with my Ace high and him folding and vice versa.
We did see one hand right through and we both ended up with 7s but his kicker was one pip above me so he won the pot.
I'm dealt A5 which is a good hand heads up and I raised. He called. Flop comes down 889 so I thought I better push all in to get him off the hand. He called and revealed his J8. Damn that was the end of me. Turn was a 10 and river was an Ace and I came 2nd.
I won $4.20 so I doubled up which is all good. Just a big shame I didn't win.

I just played a $2.50 plus 25c 18 seater sitngo at Poker Time (6 seats to a table)
Despite the fact that I didn't think I would make top 3 for a payout, I thought it would be a bit of fun and try my hardest to stick with what I know about fish and other playing styles.
I was underdog from the beginning losing 480 chips in the first hand to a fish who hit his flush on the river. I posted and folded a few hands after this to watch the playing styles and stole a couple of pots to get my stack back up.
Unraised BB were getting lucky with cards like 24 off - lots of flush possibilities almost every hand. One of the chip leaders on our table even moaned about it and yet he was the one getting lucky with his 2h for a flush!
I had pocket Kings and just raised to take the blinds. My stack is slowly going back up but I was still 17th out of 17. 2 players were moved from our table which left 4 players.
Still posting and folding and then I got AJ suited - raised and took the blinds. Next hand a player is all in with AK suited and loses to a pocket pair of 7s. I was then moved to another table and there were 5 of us at this table. Another AJ suited for me and I take the blinds again by raising. There isn't too much action at this table. Lots of posting and folding from the other players. This goes on for some time and then another player is moved and we are down to 4 players on the table.
I was dealt 89 off and I was BB unraised. Flop comes down 3s5s8d so I bet 2xBB and was raised all in. I decided to call as the player who raised had only flat called and I guessed he had Ace plus an other high card (2 overcards) because the flop was so low. He shows his hand 4s7s so he's on a straight flush/flush/straight draw. So any 6, any spade and I'm beaten. Turn comes 2h. He now needs any Ace as well but I'm still in the lead with pair of 8s. River comes and it's a 5c. Phew - I took him out and my chips stack was at 2550.
3 of us seated at the table lost of posting and folding. I did get AK suited at one point and raised and stole the blinds. The very next hand I'm BB and the SB raised me all in and I have AK again. So I called and he shows A8. Flop comes down 3Q2, turn is 10 and river is a 3 so my AK held and he was out. I now had 4495 chips and there are just 2 of us at the table. I won a couple of hands with 2 pairs and then we were moved to the final table - 6 players.
I'm 5th out of 6 players at this point and only top 3 positions play. I'm feeling quite positive because the play from the two chip leaders at the table was "buy pots at no expense" and I'm thinking just a couple of good hands and I can double up here. Needless to say, they were stealing blinds all over the place and I decided to bide my time (as much as I could bearing in mind the blinds were getting up to the 300 mark now).
One player lost his shirt with AJ suited against one of the chip leaders who had K8 and hit the K on the river. The very next hand, the guy that had lost his shirt who only had 170 in chips left, went all in and won with AK suited but was knocked out a few hands later. This left 5 of us and I'm 2 positions away from cashing in. In the meantime, I'm still posting and folding - just getting the usual "ton of rubbish".
I was actually sitting there saying out loud - give me a nice pair, nice pocket pair. A few hands in I'm BB and I'm dealt JJ. The fishy pot stealing chip leader raised me so I just went all in (thinking its now or never) - he showed 33 against my JJ. Flop came down KA7, Turn is another Ace and river was a 6 - phew. I had doubled up and now had 5,690 chips.
A few hands on and another player goes all in with 88 - I folded but the chip leader called with A3 - flop was 3JA, turn was a J and river was an A. So one more player down and I'm 4th out of 4 players.
As usual the "big boys" are stealing the blinds. I'm SB and I'm then dealt QQ. I raised BIG pre flop and was raised all in so I called. My opponent showed 77. Flop is A6A, turn is a 9 and then the river (which took a lifetime to come) was a 2. I doubled up again and now had 8,100 chips. I was in 3rd position!
Still the blind stealing goes on and it's posting and folding for me until I hit KK. I raised really big pre-flop and took the blinds. More posting and folding, pot stealing, blind stealing and so on and I'm back in 4th place again. One of the other players (3rd position) made a large bet which was called by the chip leader. Chip leader bet "all in"and the 3rd position folded which meant he now moved down to 4th position.
A few hands on and I am dealt 10 10. I bet big and the chip leader raised me all in - I called. He showed K10. Flop comes down 10,5,3. Turn is a 7 and river is a 7 so I doubled up again with a full house. I have 10,300 chips now.
The guy in 4th position went all in with JQ suited but lost to a pair of Kings. 3 of us left and I'm definitely in the money.
I'm actually in 2nd position now as the guy that was 2nd lost a lot of chips to the chip leader. A few hands go past and the guy in 3rd goes all in with pocket 8s. Chip leader called him with A3 (must be his favourite hand - twice he did that). Flop comes down 4AK, turn is a 6 and river is a 5. He is out and there are 2 of us left.
I have 9720 chips to his 26,280. It doesn't look good.
He starts off by raising my BB and I'm folding, folding folding. I did have AQ at one point and raised and took his BB. My chips are dwindling because of the ante and the huge blinds and I'm down to 7480. Next hand I am dealt AA. Joy! I raised preflop and he called. Flop came down 789. Risky I know but I bet all in and he called. He showed K5. Turn was a 4 and river was a 9. I doubled up to 14960.
A few hands went by and neither of us were raising but we were seeing flops and I was getting lucky each time. Chip stack is up to 18k now and opponent has 17k.
I'm dealt 710 suited which isn't a bad hand at all. Opponent raised my BB so I called him. Flop came down 387. I bet - he called. Turn is a 10. I went all in - he called and showed KJ. River was an Ace - no help to him and I won the tournament and $22.50. A great result and a really good game.

Je viens de jouer à un sitngo de 18 places à 2,50 $ plus 25c à Poker Time (6 places par table)
Malgré le fait que je ne pensais pas faire partie du top 3 pour un gain, j'ai pensé que ce serait un peu amusant et je ferai de mon mieux pour m'en tenir à ce que je sais sur le poisson et les autres styles de jeu.
J'étais outsider depuis le début, perdant 480 jetons lors de la première main face à un fish qui a touché sa couleur à la rivière. Après cela, j'ai posté et couché quelques mains pour observer les styles de jeu et j'ai volé quelques pots pour reconstituer mon tapis.
Les BB non relancés ont eu de la chance avec des cartes comme 24 off - de nombreuses possibilités de couleur presque à chaque main. L'un des chip leaders de notre table s'en est même plaint et pourtant c'est lui qui a eu de la chance avec ses 2h pour une couleur !
J'avais une paire de Rois et je viens de relancer pour prendre les blinds. Mon stack remonte petit à petit mais j'étais toujours 17ème sur 17. 2 joueurs ont été déplacés de notre table ce qui restait 4 joueurs.
Je postais et je me couchais toujours, puis j'ai eu AJ assorti, j'ai relancé et j'ai pris les blinds. La main suivante, un joueur est à tapis avec AK assorti et perd face à une paire de 7. J'ai ensuite été transféré à une autre table et nous étions 5 à cette table. Un autre AJ me convient et je reprends les blinds en relançant. Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'action à cette table. Beaucoup de posts et de pliages de la part des autres joueurs. Cela dure un certain temps, puis un autre joueur est déplacé et il ne reste plus que 4 joueurs sur la table.
J'ai reçu 89 off et j'ai été BB non relancé. Le flop descend 3s5s8d donc j'ai misé 2xBB et j'ai été relancé à tapis. J'ai décidé de suivre car le joueur qui avait relancé n'avait suivi qu'un plat et j'ai deviné qu'il avait un As plus une autre carte haute (2 overcards) parce que le flop était si bas. Il montre sa main 4s7s donc il est sur un tirage quinte flush/flush/straight draw. Donc n’importe quel 6, n’importe quel pique et je suis battu. Le tour arrive 2h. Il a désormais besoin de n'importe quel As mais je suis toujours en tête avec une paire de 8. La rivière arrive et c'est un 5c. Ouf, je l'ai éliminé et mon tapis de jetons était à 2550.
3 d'entre nous assis à table ont perdu l'affichage et le pliage. J'ai obtenu AK à un moment donné, j'ai relancé et volé les blinds. La main suivante, je suis BB et le SB m'a relancé à tapis et j'ai à nouveau AK. Alors j'ai appelé et il montre A8. Le flop tombe en 3Q2, le turn est 10 et la rivière est un 3 donc mon AK a tenu et il était éliminé. J'avais maintenant 4495 jetons et nous ne sommes que deux à la table. J'ai gagné quelques mains avec 2 paires, puis nous avons été transférés à la table finale - 6 joueurs.
Je suis 5ème sur 6 joueurs à ce stade et seules les 3 premières positions jouent. Je me sens plutôt positif parce que le jeu des deux chip leaders à la table était "acheter des pots sans frais" et je pense qu'il suffit de quelques bonnes mains et je peux doubler ici. Inutile de dire qu'ils volaient des blinds partout et j'ai décidé d'attendre mon heure (autant que je pouvais, sachant que les blinds atteignaient désormais la barre des 300).
Un joueur a perdu son maillot avec AJ assorti contre l'un des chip leaders qui avait K8 et a touché le K à la rivière. La main suivante, le gars qui avait perdu sa chemise et qui n'avait plus que 170 jetons, a fait tapis et a gagné avec AK assorti, mais a été éliminé quelques mains plus tard. Cela nous a laissé 5 et je suis à 2 positions d'encaisser. En attendant, je continue de poster et de plier - je reçois juste la "tonne de détritus" habituelle.
En fait, j'étais assis là et je disais à voix haute : donnez-moi une belle paire, une belle paire de poche. Après quelques mains, je suis BB et je reçois JJ. Le chip leader qui volait le pot de poisson m'a relancé alors j'ai fait tapis (pensant que c'était maintenant ou jamais) - il a montré 33 contre mon JJ. Le flop est tombé sur KA7, le Turn est un autre As et la rivière était un 6 - ouf. J'avais doublé et j'avais désormais 5 690 jetons.
Quelques mains et un autre joueur fait tapis avec 88 - je me suis couché mais le chip leader a suivi avec A3 - le flop était 3JA, le tournant était un J et la rivière était un A. Donc un joueur de plus et je suis 4ème sur 4. joueurs.
Comme d'habitude, les « grands » volent les blinds. Je suis SB et je reçois ensuite QQ. J'ai relancé GROS pré-flop et j'ai été relancé à tapis donc j'ai suivi. Mon adversaire a montré 77. Le flop est A6A, le tournant est un 9 et puis la rivière (qui a mis toute une vie à arriver) était un 2. J'ai encore doublé et j'avais maintenant 8 100 jetons. J'étais en 3ème position !
Le vol à l'aveugle continue toujours et je poste et je me couche jusqu'à ce que j'atteigne KK. J'ai relancé très gros pré-flop et j'ai pris les blinds. Encore plus de posts et de couchers, de vols de pot, de vols de blinds, etc. et je suis de retour à la 4ème place. L'un des autres joueurs (3ème position) a fait une mise importante qui a été suivie par le chip leader. Le chip leader a misé "all in" et la 3ème position s'est couchée, ce qui signifie qu'il est maintenant descendu en 4ème position.
Quelques mains et je reçois 10 10. J'ai misé gros et le chip leader m'a relancé à tapis - j'ai suivi. Il a montré K10. Le flop revient 10,5,3. Le turn est un 7 et la rivière un 7 donc j'ai encore doublé avec un full. J'ai maintenant 10 300 jetons.
Le gars en 4ème position a fait tapis avec JQ assorti mais a perdu contre une paire de Rois. 3 d'entre nous sont partis et je suis définitivement dans l'argent.
Je suis en fait en 2ème position maintenant car le gars qui était 2ème a perdu beaucoup de jetons face au chip leader. Quelques mains passent et le gars en 3ème fait tapis avec une paire de 8. Le chip leader l'a suivi avec A3 (cela doit être sa main préférée - il l'a fait deux fois). Le flop tombe 4AK, le turn est un 6 et la rivière est un 5. Il est éliminé et il nous reste 2.
J'ai 9 720 jetons contre 26 280. Ça n'a pas l'air bien.
Il commence par lever mon BB et je me couche, je me couche. J'ai eu AQ à un moment donné, j'ai relancé et j'ai pris son BB. Mes jetons diminuent à cause de l'ante et des énormes blinds et je suis tombé à 7480. La main suivante, je reçois AA. Joie! J'ai relancé préflop et il a suivi. Le flop est tombé à 789. Risqué, je sais, mais j'ai misé all-in et il a suivi. Il a montré K5. Le turn était un 4 et la rivière un 9. J'ai doublé jusqu'à 14960.
Quelques mains se sont écoulées et aucun de nous n'a relancé, mais nous avons vu des flops et j'ai eu de la chance à chaque fois. La pile de jetons atteint maintenant 18 000 et l'adversaire en a 17 000.
Je reçois 710 assortis, ce qui n'est pas du tout une mauvaise main. L'adversaire a soulevé mon BB alors je l'ai appelé. Le flop est descendu à 387. Je parie qu'il a suivi. Le turn est un 10. J'ai fait tapis - il a suivi et a montré KJ. River était un As – aucune aide pour lui et j'ai gagné le tournoi et 22,50 $. Un super résultat et un très bon match.

i gave up on online poker myself, cause i have lost too many buyins to fishes which yuo regularly describe in your posts ^^
i loathe them!
i always end up hating myself for slowplaying aces or other winning hands, to get "flushed" or "straighted out" on the river...
not give them an inch you say, but on the other hand that would mean i can only play on position, and have to fold if i dont hit a lot, which is not my style:)
i still have a lot of wins in live play, cause somehow, in casino's and private tourneys these fish dont appear there as much.
and i can read people if i look at them: which i depend on heavily.
but you seem to be a tight one, with a lot of patience, and they say thats the only way to be + EV online..
i hope you keep winning, and show those fish who's boss!

J'ai encore beaucoup de gains en jeu live, car d'une manière ou d'une autre, dans les casinos et les tournois privés, ces poissons n'y apparaissent pas autant.
et je peux lire les gens si je les regarde : ce dont je dépend énormément.
mais tu as l'air d'être quelqu'un de serré, avec beaucoup de patience, et on dit que c'est la seule façon d'être + EV en ligne.

Thanks guys for your nice comments. In life I am a patient person and it rubs off in the poker. I love live play (with the family) and I've only ever played one real live game at a casino. It was a rebuy and add-on and with the size of the rebuy there was no way that I could afford to do that. I will say the people at my table all re-bought twice before I went out so I thought it was a good achievement.
It's a shame you find it so frustrating - I know it can be sometimes. My suggestion to you - if you want a great game of poker - find the "double your stake" tables. If there are 10 of you, 5 of you double up your buyin. These games are usually quality - definitely worth a go.

J'adore jouer en direct (en famille) et je n'ai joué qu'à un seul vrai jeu en direct dans un casino. Il s'agissait d'un rebuy et d'un add-on et, compte tenu de l'ampleur du rebuy, je ne pouvais pas me permettre de le faire. Je dirai que les gens à ma table ont tous racheté deux fois avant que je sorte, donc j'ai pensé que c'était une bonne réussite.
C'est dommage que vous trouviez cela si frustrant – je sais que cela peut l'être parfois. Ma suggestion - si vous voulez jouer au poker - trouvez les tables "doublez votre mise". Si vous êtes 10, 5 d’entre vous doublent votre buyin. Ces jeux sont généralement de qualité et valent vraiment le détour.

Oh dear!
I just played like a total moron....in a 5 seater sitngo on Poker Time. It was a €0.50 + 0.10 Normal game.
First hand, I folded but someone was knocked out. The cards were as follows: JsAh4cJc8c and before the final card was down, they were both all in. They showed their hands and one of them had 3s9d - so nothing there and the other one had 2c3c and won with a flush. I knew from the start this was going to be a poor game.
The usual tactics were there - raise pre-flop, min bet all the way until the river and then raise on the river and so on. I was dealt AK at one point and the guy pulled the above tactics - raise pre-flop, bet min, and then raise big on the river. I called the pre-flop raise and the flop was 923. He bet, I called and the turn was a 7. He bet I called and the river was a 4. He bet 2xBB and I called. My AK won against his Q8. (I'm thinking well if this is the standard it should be a breeze - having thought that thought, I also thought - I'm no better, calling his bets when I had nothing but 2 over cards).
A few hands in and another guy is all in on a bluff and is knocked out. This left 3 of us.
I'm folding and folding and folding - just rubbish after more rubbish. In the meantime, the stack is dwindling away. I won a nice pot on a flush but only because I fished to the river - my play was dire to be honest.
Carrying on folding and my BB is being raised most hands. Then I got A9 and I thought I would go with it. So I called the raise and the flop came down 34A. My opponent went all in and I just called - it was probably a bad call however, he showed his hand which was A7. The turn came J and the river was a 10 so my 9 counted and he was out and I had doubled up virtually.
Now down to 2 of us. He was betting and raising most hands and I had my usual rubbish so I was folding a lot. I then hit AA which was pretty nice. I raised pre-flop - think it was about 4x BB and he called. Flop came down 8h5s5h and I just went all in and he folded. Not worth chancing him getting lucky with a flush or a straight and I thought it would be worth just taking the pot now.
A few hands further on and I'm dealt AK. He raised pre-flop so I called. The flop came down 826. He bet big and I called - I figured he was buying the pot. The turn came and it was an Ace. He bet big and I called him. River was a 5 and he bet big again so I called again. He showed his hand and he had a pair of 8s - 89 off.
His stack was pretty much depleted now; he had 1400 left. He stole a few blinds and then I got 77 and I raised him pre-flop. He just went all in and he showed 89 suited spades. Flop was 55J, turn was another 5 and the river was a 3. He was gone and I won the game.
At the beginning of this post I said I played like a moron and writing it out really shows how moronic I played. However, having said that I made some good calls (even though they were bad calls) based on what I had seen of the other players play. It was a good game but on the other hand, it was a bad game.
Nice that I won though. I won €1.25 so just over doubled my layout.

Après quelques mains, un autre joueur fait tapis et est éliminé. Cela nous a laissé 3.
Je plie, je plie et je plie – juste des conneries après encore des conneries. Pendant ce temps, la pile diminue. J'ai gagné un joli pot avec une couleur, mais uniquement parce que j'ai pêché jusqu'à la rivière - pour être honnête, mon jeu était désastreux.
Je continue de me coucher et mon BB est soulevé par la plupart des mains. Ensuite, j’ai eu A9 et j’ai pensé que j’allais l’accepter. J'ai donc suivi la relance et le flop est tombé à 34A. Mon adversaire a fait tapis et j'ai juste suivi. C'était probablement un mauvais call, mais il a montré sa main qui était A7. Le turn est venu J et la rivière était un 10 donc mon 9 a compté et il était sorti et j'avais pratiquement doublé.
Maintenant, nous ne sommes plus que deux. Il misait et relançait la plupart des mains et j'avais mes déchets habituels donc je me couchais beaucoup. J'ai ensuite frappé AA, ce qui était plutôt sympa. J'ai relancé pré-flop - je pense que c'était environ 4x BB et il a suivi. Le flop est tombé à 8h5s5h et j'ai fait tapis et il s'est couché. Cela ne valait pas la peine de lui donner la chance d'avoir une couleur ou une quinte et j'ai pensé que cela valait la peine de prendre le pot maintenant.

C'était un bon match mais d'un autre côté, c'était un mauvais match.
C'est bien d'avoir gagné. J'ai gagné 1,25 €, j'ai donc doublé ma mise.

Full Tilt - what can I say!
I joined a 9 seater $1 sitngo. In the first 3 hands, 3 people were knocked out by the same person.
I was just folding as usual. Then I got A10 suited. I was big blind and the guy that knocked out 3 people was SB so he had a very large stack. He didn't raise pre-flop and neither did I. Flop was JQA. He bet min and I just flat called. Turn was a 4. He bet the pot so I just went all in except for 95 chips. He re-raised me all in. I called. He shows A3 and I have my A10 so I'm in the lead. River comes a 3. Can you believe that....well yes you can actually.
He knew it was a bad beat and even apologised for it. Don't you just hate it when that happens!
I'll have to have another game to get my money back!

Il m'a sur-relancé à tapis. J'ai suivi. Il affiche A3 et j'ai mon A10 donc je suis en tête. River arrive avec un 3. Pouvez-vous croire cela... eh bien, oui, vous pouvez en fait.
Il savait que c'était un bad beat et s'en est même excusé. Ne détestez pas quand cela arrive !
Il va falloir que je joue à un autre jeu pour récupérer mon argent !

I'm just having a $1.50 6 seater super turbo sitngo on Full Tilt. 300 starting chips so its going to be a short game.
A few hands in and I'm posting and folding the rubbish. Nobody has gone all in yet which is an achievement in itself.
Oops - I spoke to soon. After I typed the above, went back to the game and one guy is all in. The flop is showing 498. One guy has K J (all in) and the other player is showing 43. The turn is 5 and the river is a 5. One player down.
A few hands pass - me folding my rubbish (93, 82 etc). It's a fast game and my little stack is dwindling.
My turn for BB. I have J5 suited. SB just flat called and everyone else is folded - I check. The flop is 10 7 A. SB checks so I bet 2xBB and SB folds. Nice bluff to steal the pot.
Two hands along, I get AK off. I went all in as my stack isn't too large (145). Everyone folds and I win the blinds. A few hands pass and nobody is playing their cards until one guy raises the blind pre flop. I have pocket 4s. Worth a look but 2 others call as well including BB. Flop is A88 and my 4s are not looking too good. The original raiser bets 50 (min) and I folded along with one other player which leaves 2 of them in the hand (the original raiser and the BB). Turn is a 3. Original raiser bets 50 and he is re-raised by the guy who was BB. I'm thinking the original raiser has got Aces but the other guy could have got lucky with the 8 seeing as he reraised. He called the reraise. Final card is a 3 so there are two pairs on the table with the Ace kicker. The original raiser calls the "all in" bet from the BB. They show their hands and the original raiser has A7 and BB has 8J. How lucky can you get? A good fold by me nonetheless. The loser on that hand has only 40 chips left and he is all in next hand along with 2 other players. The player with 40 chips wins the hand and one player is knocked out. There are 4 of us left.
A few hands pass - no real action. I then get dealt pocket 5s. I'm the dealer and BB is the only one that called my pathetic 120 chip all in.
My opponent shows AJ. Flop comes down JJ3. I know the end is nigh...turn is a 7 and the only card that can save me is a 5 to give me the fullhouse. The river is another 3. So I am out in 4th position.
Not a good result but I did the best I could with the hands that I had.

Le relanceur d'origine a misé 50 (min) et je me suis couché avec un autre joueur, ce qui en laisse 2 dans la main (le relanceur d'origine et le BB). Le tournant est un 3. Le relanceur initial mise 50 et il est sur-relancé par le gars qui était BB. Je pense que le relanceur original a eu les As, mais l'autre gars aurait pu avoir de la chance avec le 8 vu qu'il a sur-relancé. Il a suivi la sur-relance. La carte finale est un 3, il y a donc deux paires sur la table avec l'As comme kicker. Le relanceur initial suit la mise "all in" du BB. Ils montrent leurs mains et le relanceur d'origine a A7 et BB a 8J. Quelle chance pouvez-vous avoir ? Un bon pli de ma part néanmoins. Le perdant de cette main n'a plus que 40 jetons et il sera dans la main suivante avec 2 autres joueurs. Le joueur avec 40 jetons remporte la main et un joueur est éliminé. Il nous reste 4.
Quelques mains passent – aucune action réelle. Je reçois ensuite une poche de 5. Je suis le croupier et BB est le seul à avoir suivi mon pathétique jeton de 120 à tapis.
Mon adversaire montre AJ. Le flop tombe JJ3. Je sais que la fin est proche... le tour est un 7 et la seule carte qui peut me sauver est un 5 pour me donner le full. La rivière est un autre 3. Je suis donc sorti en 4ème position.
Ce n’est pas un bon résultat mais j’ai fait de mon mieux avec les mains que j’avais.
Plus de chance la prochaine fois pour moi !

After suffering terrible poker withdrawal symptoms, it being late at night, I managed to get a game or two at Full Tilt.
The first game was a total disaster - me being knocked out with my pocket 6s by someone with pocket 9s who hit trips.
The second game was a little better. $2.00 plus 25c 9 seater sitngo.
I haven't played a hand in the first 10 hands - all pure rubbish. BB raises on this 10th hand and one player calls. The flop is 5,4,10. The player who was not BB is first to act and bets all in (975). BB calls and they show their cards. The all in player shows K10 and BB shows AK. The turn comes down an Ace and the river is a 2. So we are down to 8 players.
Everyone is playing tight - even the guy that was sat out for the entire game! I guess I will never understand the reasoning behind that. Sitting out the entire game when you've paid good money to play poker. I guess his "sit out" play is better than his poker play.
4 hands on and I'm dealt AK as SB. One player raises to 180 everyone except me folds. I'd been watching this player and some of their hands were dire to say the least. They had also been stealing a few blinds so I thought I may as well call. The flop was Q97. My opponent bet 240 and I called. I have two over cards and a good chance of hitting one of them (am I turning into a fish?) The next card is a 5 and we both check. The river is a K and I bet 240, opponent called and I won the pot. My opponent showed their cards and they had JJ. Lucky me that hand.
A few hands in and I'm dealt 10 10. I'm not overly keen on this pair - it's neither here nor there so I just min raised to see what would happen. There are 2 callers. Unfortunately, the guy sitting out was BB and it may have looked like I was trying to steal. The flop comes down J26. One guy checks and I bet 160 and they both call. Turn is a 4. One guy checks and I bet 240 this time to get some sort of reaction. One player called and the other guy raised to 800. I'm thinking hard now - he seemed a reasonable player and I hadn't seen him bluff so I suspected he had trip 4s and folded. The other player called. River is a 5. 400 is the bet and the other player called all in. He showed his pocket 4s and the other guy had AJ so I was well beaten on all fronts and it was a good fold.
We are now down to 7 players. A few blinds are stolen here and there - lots of folding from everyone. A few hands in and I'm dealt KQ on BB. SB just flat called and I checked. Flop is 782. We both check. Turn is an ace. We both check again. The river is a K. Opponent bet 100 and I called. He shows K6 and my K Q wins with the higher kicker.
Another player gets knocked out a few hands down the line with his A4 suited against A10 which leaves just 6 of us including the guy sitting out....still.
I'm posting and folding as normal - I'm SB and before it gets to my turn, one player raises 355 and one player calls. Both myself and BB fold. First to act checks and the guy that was the dealer bet 320 - opponent calls. Turn is a 10 and both players check. The river is a K - first player bets 915 and his opponent (the dealer) raises all in. The other guy calls and they show their cards. The first guy shows 75 so he has a pair of 5s! The dealer shows JQ and wins with a straight. Down to 5 players.
The guy that is sitting out is getting his blinds stolen - of course - and I'm just posting and folding. A lot of hands later, I'm dealt AA and instead of fussing around, I just went all in and stole the blinds. I'm happy with that. I would rather take the blinds than lose to a poor hand.
We are now at the 53rd hand and I'm dealt 88 so I just flat called the BB and everyone else is folded. The flop is Q36. Opponent who is first to act checks and I bet 300. My opponent raised me all in with 2,140 and I call with my 1380. As I clicked that call button, I wondered if I was making a mistake but taking into account the person who made the all in bet, I felt it was right having seen some very dodgy betting before. They showed their hand which was 86. So I have 8s and they have 6s. The turn was an Ace and the river a 3 so it was fortunately no help to them and I won the hand.
Hand 66 and the "sitout" guy is all in with 59 off. He loses to a pair of jacks and its bye bye and 2 bucks down the pan for him. 4 of us left now. One more to go out and I'm in the money.
There is plenty of folding going on and on the 72nd hand, SB goes all in for 3200 and BB calls giving a return of 260 to SB. The hands show and SB has Q5 and BB has A6 and takes the pot after K77A2 come onto the table. Still 4 of us left in.
A few hands on and I'm SB and dealt 1010. The guy with not so many chips left goes all in for 780 (he or she won a couple of hands in between) I called as did BB. The flop comes down K910. I checked and BB went all in with 3540 chips. I called and showed my trips and BB had JK and the all in player had A4. The turn was an A and the river a 2. I won the side pot and the main pot and one more player is out.
3 of us left so I'm definitely in the money.
78th hand and I'm the dealer. I folded, SB goes all in and BB calls. They show their hands and SB has K4 and BB has K7. The flop is 9 10 J, turn is an Ace and the river an 8 so the BB hit a nice straight and SB was out.
2 of us left and the game goes on. Lots of folding and raising to take the blinds going on. Moving onto the 90th hand. I'm SB and I'm dealt 77. This is a great hand heads up and without too much thought I raised the bet to 2,400 (3x BB). The guy raises me all in so I called. Cards are shown and he has KQ suited against my 77. The flop is K104 and I instantly knew this was the end of the game. Turn is a 10 and the river is a 2. No use to me and I finish in 2nd place taking $5.40 for my troubles.
It was a good game and I really enjoyed it. Shame he got lucky with his K but that's the risk heads up. Any high card is a good card heads up but a pocket pair is an excellent hand. Needless to say, it wasn't enough but I would do the same again so I don't think it was bad play.

Le turn donne un As et la rivière un 2. Nous en sommes donc à 8 joueurs.
Tout le monde joue serré – même le gars qui a été absent pendant tout le match ! Je suppose que je ne comprendrai jamais le raisonnement derrière cela. Rester assis pendant toute la partie alors que vous avez payé beaucoup d'argent pour jouer au poker. Je suppose que son jeu "sit out" est meilleur que son jeu de poker.
4 mains dessus et je reçois AK en tant que SB. Un joueur relance à 180, tout le monde sauf moi se couche. J'avais observé ce joueur et certaines de ses mains étaient pour le moins désastreuses. Ils avaient également volé quelques blinds, alors j'ai pensé que je pouvais tout aussi bien suivre. Le flop était Q97. Mon adversaire a misé 240 et j'ai suivi. J'ai deux over-cards et de bonnes chances d'en toucher une (est-ce que je me transforme en poisson ?). La carte suivante est un 5 et nous checkons tous les deux. L'autre joueur a appelé. River est un 5. 400 est la mise et l'autre joueur a suivi all-in. Il a montré sa poche de 4 et l'autre gars avait AJ donc j'ai été bien battu sur tous les fronts et c'était un bon coucher.
Nous sommes désormais à 7 joueurs. Quelques blinds sont volés ici et là - beaucoup de pliages de la part de tout le monde. Quelques mains et je reçois KQ sur BB. SB vient de suivre et j'ai vérifié. Le flop est 782. Nous checkons tous les deux. Turn est un as. Nous vérifions tous les deux à nouveau. La rivière est un K. L'adversaire a misé 100 et j'ai suivi. Il montre K6 et mon KQ gagne avec le kicker le plus élevé.
Un autre joueur est éliminé quelques mains sur la ligne avec son A4 assorti contre A10, ce qui ne nous laisse que 6, y compris le gars assis... toujours.
Je poste et je me couche normalement - je suis SB et avant que mon tour n'arrive, un joueur relance 355 et un joueur suit. BB et moi-même nous replions. Le premier à agir checke et le gars qui était le croupier a misé 320 - l'adversaire a suivi. Le tour est un 10 et les deux joueurs checkent. La rivière est un K - le premier joueur mise 915 et son adversaire (le croupier) relance à tapis. L'autre joueur suit et montre ses cartes. Le premier gars montre 75 donc il a une paire de 5 ! Le croupier montre JQ et gagne avec une quinte. Jusqu'à 5 joueurs.
Le gars qui est assis se fait voler ses blinds - bien sûr - et je ne fais que poster et passer. Beaucoup de mains plus tard, j'ai reçu AA et au lieu de m'embêter, j'ai fait tapis et j'ai volé les blinds. J'en suis content. Je préfère prendre les blinds plutôt que de perdre face à une mauvaise main.
Nous en sommes maintenant à la 53ème main et j'ai reçu 88, donc j'ai simplement suivi le BB et tous les autres se sont couchés. Le flop est Q36. L'adversaire qui est le premier à agir checke et je mise 300. Mon adversaire m'a relancé à tapis avec 2 140 et je call avec mes 1 380. En cliquant sur ce bouton de call, je me suis demandé si je faisais une erreur mais en prenant en compte la personne qui avait fait le tout en pari, j'ai pensé que c'était juste après avoir déjà vu des paris très douteux auparavant. Il y a beaucoup de couchers en cours et à la 72ème main, SB fait tapis pour 3200 et BB suit, donnant un retour de 260 à SB. Les mains s'affichent et SB a Q5 et BB a A6 et prend le pot après que K77A2 soit arrivé sur la table. Nous étions encore 4 à rester.

C'est une excellente main en heads-up et sans trop y réfléchir, j'ai augmenté la mise à 2 400 (3x BB). Le gars m'a relancé à tapis alors j'ai suivi. Les cartes sont montrées et il a KQ assorti contre mon 77. Le flop est K104 et j'ai immédiatement su que c'était la fin de la partie. Le tournant est un 10 et la rivière est un 2. Cela ne me sert à rien et je termine à la 2ème place en prenant 5,40 $ pour mes ennuis.
C'était un bon jeu et je l'ai vraiment apprécié. Dommage qu'il ait eu de la chance avec son K mais c'est le risque en heads-up. Toute carte haute est une bonne carte en heads-up, mais une paire de poche est une excellente main. Inutile de dire que ce n'était pas suffisant, mais je referais la même chose donc je ne pense pas que ce soit un mauvais jeu.

I'm playing the ring games at Full Tilt 1c/2c! I know - big stakes.
I played yesterday too, just to earn the poker points for the "take 2" bonus that's running at the moment. I have played ring games before but not too often.
I have to say that it is fairly easy money. I've managed to increase my bankroll by about $3 so far. Its amazing some of the calls that are being made.
I just had AA and as I said above, the stakes are 1c/2c. I bet 10c which is one eighth of your max sit down cash (Max is 80c). I get one caller. The flop was Q74. They have approx. 50c left after the flop so I just bet to put them all in and they called. They showed Ace 7. Nothing came on the turn or river to help her and I won the pot.
If you fancy playing and making some easy(ish) cash, then I recommend the ring games for sure.
I just had a look at my stats on Sharkscope and it says I'm "Hot" at the moment. Hot = won 3 games in a row. These would be sitngos and ring games aren't shown.

Rien n'est venu au tournant ou à la rivière pour l'aider et j'ai gagné le pot.
Si vous avez envie de jouer et de gagner de l'argent facilement (ish), alors je vous recommande certainement les jeux d'argent.
Je viens de jeter un œil à mes statistiques sur Sharkscope et il dit que je suis "hot" en ce moment. Chaud = gagné 3 matchs d'affilée. Il s’agirait de sitngos et les ring games ne sont pas présentés.

Well to say that this is a bit cheeky is an understatement.
I really "needed" a game of poker despite the fact that it was really late last night when I decided to play and I was really shattered as I was up pretty early yesterday.
I decided to have a game on Poker Time and I went for the "double your money" 10 seater €1 sit n go.
To say my hands were dire is an understatement. I had nothing but rubbish so I'm posting and folding.
The next thing I know, it's 4 am and I'm "kissing the keyboard" - I had fallen asleep on the computer chair, still logged into Poker Time but no game running. The great part about this story is that I had managed to double my money despite the fact that I was happily snoring away whilst the game went on.
Note to self: Next time you want a game, make sure you stay awake!

Eh bien, dire que c’est un peu effronté est un euphémisme.
J'avais vraiment "besoin" d'une partie de poker malgré le fait qu'il était très tard hier soir quand j'ai décidé de jouer et j'étais vraiment bouleversé car je me suis levé assez tôt hier.
J'ai décidé de faire une partie sur Poker Time et j'ai opté pour le sit n go 10 places "doublez votre argent" à 1 €.
Dire que mes mains étaient en mauvais état est un euphémisme. Je n'avais que des conneries donc je poste et je plie.
La prochaine chose que je sais, c'est qu'il est 4 heures du matin et que j' « embrasse le clavier » - je m'étais endormi sur la chaise de l'ordinateur, toujours connecté à Poker Time mais aucun jeu n'était en cours. Le plus intéressant dans cette histoire, c'est que j'ai réussi à doubler mon argent malgré le fait que je ronflais joyeusement pendant que le jeu avançait.
Note à moi-même : la prochaine fois que vous voudrez jouer, assurez-vous de rester éveillé !

As you may or may not know, 365Bonitas Poker (USA OK) are giving away free poker money in the form of 10 x 50c sitngo coupons.
You can get these by going to "player admin" when you are logged into the site (in the lobby). I got mine and had trouble figuring out how to use them. Finally worked it out that it is the second option down when you register for a 50c sitngo. If you have won some cash or deposited and still have these coupons left, make sure you select the 2nd option down or you will have your bankroll cash used.
Anyway - I signed up and decided to have a game to see what the players/site was like. have to say it is the same setup as Carbon Poker being on the merge network. Not bad sites these in my view.

This is just a quick post about a tourney I played at Full Tilt.
I'm not a big tourney player but I used to be. I prefer the sitngo's.
Anyway, I entered the $1 tournament and there were 470 odd entrants at the point it was about to close but a late registration saw the number rocket to 817.
I played pretty tight the entire game and I saw the most dreadful plays that actually paid off. One particular one that springs to mind was when BB had been raised so he re-raised and the opponent that was left in re-raised all in.
The hands came down and I was pretty gobsmacked when I saw what the other guy had re-raised with.

The flop came down with 3 x clubs (I can't remember them unfortunately) and the opponent cracked the guys Aces with a very poor flush. What made it worse was the idiot with the clubs just "laughed" in the chat screen. I'm at a loss to think why a person would re-raise all in with a hand like that pre-flop.
Anyway - as I said this is just a very brief write up. There were 28 people left and I was at around 16th.
I was dealt 
and I was Big Blind which was around 2k/4k at the time (if I remember correctly). I had 14k so decided this was a great opportunity to either just steal or get called by an Ace high hopeful. I raised all in when it was my turn and managed to get one caller.

I knew my fate was sealed at this point. My only hope was a 10 on the river.
The final card came down and I was out at 25th position.
I showed a net profit of $2.09 [$3.19 win] for my efforts and considering I hadn't played in a large tourney like that for a while, I thought it was pretty reasonable to come 25th.
I am considering upping my buy in to a more expensive tourney. I'll post it if I do. In the meantime, I'm fancying another game right now, so I will probably be posting another [sitngo] later.

Ceci est juste un petit article sur un tournoi auquel j'ai joué sur Full Tilt .
Je ne suis pas un grand joueur de tournoi, mais je l'étais. Je préfère les sitngo.
Quoi qu'il en soit, j'ai participé au tournoi à 1 $ et il y avait 470 participants au moment où il était sur le point de se fermer, mais une inscription tardive a vu le nombre grimper à 817.
J'ai joué assez serré tout au long du match et j'ai vu les jeux les plus épouvantables qui ont réellement porté leurs fruits. Un exemple particulier qui me vient à l'esprit est celui où BB a été relancé, il a donc sur-relancé et l'adversaire qui restait a sur-relancé à tapis.
Les mains sont tombées et j'ai été assez abasourdi quand j'ai vu avec quoi l'autre gars avait sur-relancé.

Le flop est tombé avec 3 x trèfles (je ne m'en souviens malheureusement pas) et l'adversaire a cassé les As du gars avec une très mauvaise couleur. Ce qui a aggravé les choses, c'est que l'idiot avec les clubs a juste « ri » sur l'écran de discussion. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi une personne sur-relancerait all-in avec une main comme celle-là pré-flop.
Quoi qu'il en soit, comme je l'ai dit, ce n'est qu'un très bref article. Il restait 28 personnes et j'étais aux alentours du 16ème.
j'ai été traité et j'étais Big Blind, qui était d'environ 2k/4k à l'époque (si je me souviens bien). J'avais 14k, alors j'ai décidé que c'était une excellente opportunité soit de simplement voler, soit d'être suivi par un espoir de haut niveau As. J'ai réalisé un bénéfice net de 2,09 $ [gain de 3,19 $] grâce à mes efforts et étant donné que je n'avais pas joué dans un grand tournoi comme celui-là depuis un moment, j'ai pensé qu'il était plutôt raisonnable de terminer 25ème.
J'envisage d'augmenter mon buy-in pour un tournoi plus cher. Je le posterai si je le fais. En attendant, j'ai envie d'un autre jeu en ce moment, donc je posterai probablement un autre [sitngo] plus tard.

Worst game ever! :o
I just played a quick turbo dollar sitngo on Full Tilt and the standard of play was pretty poor.
I say "worst game" because of the poor play and bad beats.
First player is knocked out with the following hand: (both players are all in)

There was one player who kept raising all the time - stealing blinds mostly.
A few hands in and I'm dealt so I just flat called. There is one caller, SB calls and BB checks.
The flop comes down 
and SB is first to act and bets 50. BB folds and the other player (the guy that was raising most hands) calls, so I just flat called. The turn is 
, SB checks, the other player checks so I bet the pot of 350. SB folds and the other guy calls. I\'d seen this guy fishing to the river so I thought 350 would be enough to see him off - obviously not! The river falls and is 
. I decided it was do or die time so just went all in and the other guy folded. He was probably chasing a straight.
The very next hand and the guy that had been raising all the time raised (UTG) to 180 and he is immediately re-raised to 650. Everyone folds except the UTG guy and the cards are shown. I couldn't believe my eyes:

So the re-raiser won with a pair of 2s from an 8 2 off hand. I just couldn't believe it....but some may say "thats poker". That's not poker - thats just a joke.

So 7 players left and the game goes on. Players are stealing blinds left, right and centre. At one point was cracked by when came on the flop. He lost most of his chips and was out next hand.
Down to 6 and the blind stealing continues.
I'm doing my usual, posting and folding. A few more hands on and UTG calls BB (160), the guy that was stealing blinds raises to 480, UTG calls and everyone else has folded.

Quelques mains et je suis distribué alors j'ai juste appelé. Il y a un appelant, des appels SB et des contrôles BB.
Le flop tombe et SB est le premier à agir et mise 50. BB se couche et l'autre joueur (le gars qui a levé le plus de mains) suit, alors j'ai simplement suivi. Le tour est , SB check, l'autre joueur check donc je mise le pot de 350. SB se couche et l'autre joueur suit. J'avais vu ce type pêcher jusqu'à la rivière, alors j'ai pensé que 350 $ suffiraient pour l'accompagner - évidemment non ! La rivière tombe et est . J'ai décidé que c'était l'heure de faire ou de mourir, alors j'ai fait tapis et l'autre gars s'est couché. Il cherchait probablement une quinte.
La main suivante et le gars qui avait tout le temps relancé (UTG) à 180 et il est immédiatement sur-relancé à 650. Tout le monde se couche sauf le gars UTG et les cartes sont montrées. Je n'en croyais pas mes yeux :

I'm not posting a game today. I'm posting my hand of the week!
I played in a tournament at Full Tilt - just a $2 buy in and I came 160th out of 532 so no payout for me.
I did enjoy it though and had one of my favourite hand results and this is my poker hand of the week. I feel there should be flashing stars around those words and a couple of trumpets playing in the background.
Anyway, I was dealt and I was 2 away from the BB so I just flat called the big blind which was $60.
The guy next to me (left of me) calls and BB checks. The flop came down .
I have trips and I have no doubt that someone is on a draw for a straight or may indeed, already have it. Im 2nd to act next to BB. BB checks, I check and the guy next to me bet $60 so BB folds and I just flat called.
Now I know this is a dangerous situation, the guy could hit or already have hit his straight and unless I hit the full house, I could lose a good few, if not all, of my chips.

I have the full house but there is the chance the other guy could have either

or and have the straight flush.
I check. Player next to me bets $60 so I decided to test the water and bet the pot which was a total of $510. He flat called my raise.

I'm truly hoping this guy just has a normal straight against my full house. I'm quite sure he would have re-raised me all in if he had already hit it on the turn. So I go for the throat and bet all in for $1350. The guy calls all in and shows so he had the straight from the getgo and I'm guessing he was praying for the to come on the river.
Lucky me took the pot for $5050 and he missed his straight flush and was knocked out.
A great hand which is one of my favourite outcomes - the straight against the well hidden full house.

Alors je vais à la gorge et je parie all-in pour 1 350 $. Le gars appelle all-in et montre donc il a eu le droit dès le départ et je suppose qu'il priait pour le venir sur la rivière.
Heureusement, j'ai remporté le pot pour 5 050 $ et il a raté sa quinte flush et a été éliminé.
Une superbe main qui est l'un de mes résultats préférés : la quinte contre le full bien caché.

Just played a 9 seater $2 sitngo at Full Tilt.
A really good but very long game with a couple of quality players made it a tough fight to even place. 191 hands in total. I enjoyed it once the usual bluffers were knocked out. You will see throughout my play that pocket KINGS were popping up in many of my hands (which I am certainly not complaining about).
The game kicks off with the usual "all ins" from the poor players. There was a great cookery program on the TV and I must admit to being a bit distracted at first.....and that was when I looked at the screen and saw the little button "I'm back". I pointed at myself to see what cards I had folded and it was :o
What a waste however there was an ace on the board and chances are, I would have lost to an Ace rag fisher.
A few hands on and I'm dealt . Blinds are 20/40 so I raised to 200 and I got one caller.
Flop comes down
Rather than chance my opponent fishing for a flush (poor player from the previous few hands - bit of a calling station) I decided to just go all in after they checked. Opponent folded and I won the pot of 500.
After a few more hands, one player is knocked out with against . Aces held and one is out.
Another player was knocked out a few hands in (all in with pocket 6s) against - he hit trips on the flop.
One more player is out and a few hands down the line, I'm dealt Blinds are 60/120 and I'm in a perfect position as the dealer. Everyone else has folded and I bet 5x BB again and SB and BB folded.
A few more hands along and another player is out and we are down to 5 of us. At this point we have played 60 hands and I am 2nd to bottom stack with 1555 chips - top stack has 4395.
My chips are dwindling and I need to start calling mediocre hands - I'm dealt
The flop is and Im first to act. I just check as do the two other players in the hand.
Turn is so I bet 320 and I get one caller.
River is so I just bet all in and opponent calls. I won with my two pairs and he showed
A few hands in and another player is out aginst a pair of 4s. So we are down to the last 4 and only 3 places pay. Everyone tightens up their play.
I am YET AGAIN dealt - I raise high and everyone folds. So this is the 4th time I've been dealt pocket kings.
Loads of hands on - after much blind stealing/folding by everyone, I am dealt I raise big and everyone folds.
After 120 hands another player is out and I'm finally "in the money". Nothing much happened for the next 20 hands until I am dealt......you guessed it - I just raised and stole the blinds as the two opponents left were quality players.
We are all posting and folding - hands are dire - there's a bit of stealing going on too until........yes I got em again:

Anyway, I just went all in (based on his previous play, he was folding rubbish) - opponent calls and shows
The cards are no help to me whatsoever and his pocket 4s hold.
Now I know that this isn't "big bucks" poker but against a quality player like the guy that won it, it makes for a great game. I really enjoyed this one even though it was pretty lengthy.
As for the pocket kings - unbelievable that I should be dealt them so many times.

Je viens de jouer à un sitngo 9 places à 2 $ sur Full Tilt .
Un match vraiment bon mais très long avec quelques joueurs de qualité a rendu la lutte difficile pour l'égalité des places. 191 mains au total. J’ai apprécié une fois les bluffeurs habituels éliminés. Vous verrez tout au long de mon jeu que des poches de KINGS apparaissaient dans beaucoup de mes mains (ce dont je ne me plains certainement pas).
Le jeu démarre avec le "all ins" habituel des joueurs pauvres. Il y avait une super émission de cuisine à la télé et je dois admettre que j'étais un peu distrait au début... et c'est à ce moment-là que j'ai regardé l'écran et que j'ai vu le petit bouton "Je suis de retour". Je me suis montré du doigt pour voir quelles cartes j'avais pliées et c'était :o
Quel gâchis, mais il y avait un as sur le tableau et il y a de fortes chances que j'aurais perdu contre un pêcheur de chiffon Ace.
Quelques mains dessus et je suis traité . Les blinds sont à 20/40 donc j'ai relancé à 200 et j'ai reçu un call.
Le flop tombe
Plutôt que de laisser mon adversaire pêcher une couleur (un mauvais joueur des mains précédentes - un peu une station qui a suivi), j'ai décidé de simplement faire tapis après qu'il ait checké. L'adversaire s'est couché et j'ai gagné le pot de 500.
Après quelques mains supplémentaires, un joueur est éliminé avec contre . Les as sont tenus et un est retiré.
Un autre joueur a été éliminé après quelques mains (à tapis avec une paire de 6) contre - il a frappé un brelan au flop.
Un joueur de plus est éliminé et quelques mains sur la ligne, je suis distribué Les blinds sont de 60/120 et je suis dans une position parfaite en tant que croupier. Tout le monde s'est couché et j'ai misé à nouveau 5x BB et SB et BB se sont couchés.
Encore quelques mains et un autre joueur est éliminé et nous n'en sommes plus qu'à 5. À ce stade, nous avons joué 60 mains et je suis le deuxième stack du bas avec 1 555 jetons – le stack du haut en a 4 395.
Mes jetons diminuent et je dois commencer à suivre des mains médiocres - je suis distribué

Beaucoup de mains dessus - après beaucoup de vols/plis à l'aveugle par tout le monde, je suis distribué Je relance gros et tout le monde se couche.
Après 120 mains, un autre joueur est éliminé et je suis enfin "dans l'argent". Il ne s'est pas passé grand-chose au cours des 20 mains suivantes jusqu'à ce que je reçoive la distribution... vous l'avez deviné. - J'ai juste relancé et volé les blinds car les deux adversaires restants étaient des joueurs de qualité.
Nous postons et passons tous - les mains sont désastreuses - il y a aussi un peu de vol jusqu'à ce que........ oui, je les ai encore :

Peu de mains ont été réellement jouées jusqu'à la dernière main où je reçois les cartes. ce qui est une très bonne main en heads-up. Nous avions tous les deux beaucoup couché et j'ai pensé que c'était une bonne opportunité de doubler... peut-être !

Quant aux Pocket Kings, c'est incroyable qu'on me les distribue autant de fois.

i have the feeling you might be ready ^^
your tight, but not too tight, your well aware of the odds, and i think you are very observant @ your fellow players:
all the qualities needed to be a good player imo, the best you can doto rule out as many nitwits as possible, is to go to more expensive limits or tourenys, its in no way a guarantee, but in general, i think the play will be more enjoyable and challenging!
im not saying $50/100 blinds :P
maybe $1/2, $2/4 and tourneys with 11$ buyin?

toutes les qualités nécessaires pour être un bon joueur à mon avis, le mieux que vous puissiez faire pour exclure autant d'idiots que possible, c'est d'aller dans des limites ou des tourenys plus chers, ce n'est en aucun cas une garantie, mais en général, je pense que le jeu sera soyez plus agréable et plus stimulant !
je ne dis pas de blinds à 50 $/100 :P
peut-être 1/2$, 2/4$ et des tournois avec un buy-in de 11$ ?

Well I did up the stakes to a $5 6 seater Turbo sitngo at Full Tilt. Not a great idea as you only get 300 chips and despite me doubling up on the first hand with a pair of "Mago" , I came 4th when my failed against a "Doyle Brunson" .
Whilst this game was going on, I found a nice 9 seater $5 + 50c sitngo game. The second hand dealt me was Blinds are 15/30 so I wanted to raise big but not so big that nobody called so I bet 180. Bearing in mind this was only the 2nd hand, it was difficult to judge whether I would get a caller or not so I decided I would settle for the blinds if nobody called.
I did get one caller - flat called my bet. The flop came down 
I went all in and the opponent called and showed
Turn was 
, the river was so I doubled up and one player was history.
Play was very tight and there was a lot of folding (except for the player to my right who shall be named "bllnd stealer". He was trying to steal those blinds from everyone no matter what his position.

Down to 7 and the very next hand I'm dealt and I'm BB. My BB is raised to 150 so I called. Everyone else has folded.
Flop is and Im first to act. I checked and waited to see what the raiser would do and he bet 250. I decided to raise him up to 500 to see what he would do. He flat called which suggested he had an Ace high with perhaps a K or a Q. The next card is and Im getting worried now that he could have a couple of spades in his hand. He had 850 chips left and the pot is 1325. I decided to just bet the pot and put him all in.
He called and flipped his cards to show
Fortunately for me the river was and another player bites the dust.
Many hands along and another player "loses his shirt" with pocket against and we are down to 5.
A few more hands of blind stealing from most of the players and the dealer goes all in - I don't think they were expecting a call but he did get one and everyone else has folded.

You may recall I mentioned the "blind stealer" near the beginning of this game. Well this guy whenever in SB poisiton kept raising all in on my BB. I kept saying bide your time to myself as I knew it would just be a matter of time before I hit a decent hand and would call his all in.
There was lots of posting and folding for quite a few hands. The odd raise here and there but nothing much to speak of.
Then I'm dealt Im small blind and the UTG decided to raise to 600 so I decided this was do or die for me as my stack was dwindling fast so I raised all in and UTG calls leaving them with 110 chips.
UTG shows their hand and its I have to hit an ace or I\'m a gonner.
The flop comes down so Im in the lead for the moment. The turn is 
and the river is so I doubled up and now had 3750. The UTG player was knocked out a few hands down the line when they went all in with Ace high and lost.
Down to 3 players and I'm definitely in the money. The blind stealer is up to his usual tricks and I'm dealt and Im SB. Blinds are 100/200 and Blind stealer raises to 525. I reraised him to 850 and he folded.
A few more hands along and I'm BB once again and Blind stealer has been up to his usual tricks. I'm dealt and I was hoping he would raise me. Needless to say he did - all in for 6k so I just called him.
He showed so Im in the lead for now. The flop comes down , turn is and the river was so I doubled up to 7300.
Biding my time finally paid off.
A few more hands along and he's up to his tricks yet again. I'm dealt 
Im BB and he raised me all in with 1890. I decided to call him and take a chance with my pocket 3s.
He showed his cards so Im ahead for the moment. The flop comes down 
. Turn is and the river is so I finally knocked the blind stealer out and there are two of us left. This gave me a great sense of satisfaction.
The other player was a fairly good player although I did note that he stole a few hands along the way and bet quite high to get people off their cards.
I have 10,030 chips and my opponent has 3470 chips.
Im dealt - a great hand heads up. Im the dealer and so I raised 3x the BB which was currently 240. So the bet was 720 for him to call. He went all in and so I just called him.

I won on a bad beat that's for sure but I'm not going to complain. $22.50 was the payoff but if it had gone the other way, I wouldn't have minded - the game would have just gone on for a little longer. I guess I was just lucky today.

Quelques mains supplémentaires de vol à l'aveugle de la plupart des joueurs et le croupier fait tapis. Je ne pense pas qu'ils s'attendaient à un suivi, mais il en a reçu un et tous les autres se sont couchés.

Vous vous souviendrez peut-être que j'ai mentionné le "voleur aveugle" au début de ce jeu. Eh bien, ce type, chaque fois qu'il était en position SB, n'arrêtait pas de relancer mon BB. Ensuite, je suis traité Je suis small blind et l'UTG a décidé de relancer à 600, j'ai donc décidé que c'était un sort ou une mort pour moi, car mon tapis diminuait rapidement, j'ai donc relancé à tapis et UTG a suivi, les laissant avec 110 jetons.
UTG montre sa main et son Je dois frapper un as ou je vais y aller.
Le flop tombe donc je suis en tête pour le moment. Le tour est et la rivière est j'ai donc doublé et j'avais maintenant 3750. Le joueur UTG a été éliminé quelques mains sur la ligne lorsqu'il a fait tapis avec Ace high et a perdu.
Il ne reste plus que 3 joueurs et je suis définitivement dans l'argent. Le voleur aveugle fait ses tours habituels et je suis distribué et je suis SB. Les blinds sont à 100/200 et le voleur blind relance à 525. Je l'ai sur-relancé à 850 et il s'est couché.
Encore quelques mains et je suis à nouveau BB et Blind Steer a fait ses tours habituels. je suis traité et j'espérais qu'il m'élèverait. Inutile de dire qu'il l'a fait - all-in pour 6k, alors je l'ai simplement appelé.
Il a montré donc je suis en tête pour l'instant. Le flop tombe , c'est le tour et la rivière était j'ai donc doublé jusqu'à 7300.
Attendre mon heure a finalement payé.
Encore quelques mains et il est à nouveau prêt à ses tours. je suis traité Je suis BB et il m'a relancé à tapis avec 1890. J'ai décidé de le suivre et de tenter ma chance avec ma poche de 3.

L'autre joueur était un assez bon joueur, même si j'ai remarqué qu'il avait volé quelques mains en cours de route et qu'il avait misé assez haut pour détourner les cartes des gens.

J'ai gagné sur un bad beat c'est sûr mais je ne vais pas me plaindre. Le gain était de 22,50 $, mais si cela s'était passé dans l'autre sens, cela ne m'aurait pas dérangé : le jeu aurait simplement duré un peu plus longtemps. Je suppose que j'ai eu de la chance aujourd'hui.
